Can winning $50 make you incredibly happy?

Depending on how much my starting bankroll is, if I started with no more than $50 then I will be happy enough to take $50 profit. But if I started like with few hundreds dollar, I cant be really happy to win $50. Although in fact $50 is something that can be considered as a good amount in my country but gamblers usually use their starting bankroll/deposit as the main reference to set a target on how much they want to gain with their deposit, not based on how much is the value of the winning in their country.

I think that OP is talking not about how much percent of deposit you win but about the cost of money. We can`t understand emotions of the authors here, when they call the sum they win. But if authors will write something like "i won my monthly salary" or will add something like "$100 is medium salary in my country" it would be easy to understand how big profit for them.

Agreed because I have this experience too, I think what happens is that the more we win, the bigger our goals get and this somewhat makes people that don't have control of their emotions to always can't stop gambling because the dopamine they get and their want for it keeps increasing. I also remember when some small amounts that I win used to impress and excite me but presently, there are some wins that I get I don't get any emotions because it has become a norm for me.

There's time what that small amounts will mean the world because it has been long I last won. Despite all this, I also think it's better we don't allow our dopamine to get to the stage that it needs more risk taking than we can handle. For me, winning any amount is a great pleasure. Because I only want entertainment for the money I use to gamble. When I win, it gives me a lot of pleasure and then I don't care how much I win.
