If you talk discuss about altcoins then it is true that not many people wanted to invest in it for different reasons and we all know one of it which is that many altcoins didn't survive for too long that's why most people prefer to invest in bitcoin. Anyway, we all know that some altcoins still remain to this day so it means that some altcoins can be worth to invest.

Yep. Big coins are going to be there one way or another, and smaller ones - yeah, they are not for hodling, surely.

As with anything, there are different breeds, coins or not: you juggle between them searching for the one that suits you. Usually it's Bitcoin, but of course - alternatives will always be there.

It can't be said that Bitcoin will be the only coin that will reach ATH, at least because there are new projects that have only recently entered the market and they definitely have the potential to set new ATH. But the difficulty is that there are thousands of altcoins, and choosing a few that will grow is a very difficult task, especially for a newcomer to the market. But with Bitcoin, everything is much simpler, there is only one and there is no need to choose anything, the difficulty now is only that it is near its high and the potential for growth at the moment is not great.

I thought that this was given. Of course, it is impressive that bitcoin has survived for this long but what is even more impressive is how it still keeps reaching new ATHs. Coins like ethereum for example has existed for so long as well but it has not reached a new ATH for quite a while already. We're all for Bitcoin to reach new all time highs because it will also pull some other altcoins to the top. CZ isn't wrong about telling that it's only Bitcoin that will go mostly to new highs because that's proven by time. I have no doubt and expect Bitcoin will get a new highs. Although I have some altcoins, I still difficult to predict which altcoins can achieve new all-time highs. But the investors still hope that many altcoins that they have can surge and hit the newest ATH. Many new altcoins at the market and all altcoins have a new things than the others. But we will see a new changing especially in the position and perhaps, an old altcoins can not survive in their position. Moreover, most altcoins were never even intended to function as money. They were created for other purposes  such as utility tokens, governance tools, platform fuel, or pure speculation. As a result, they don't meet the basic criteria of sound money like Bitcoin

Even if bitcoin meets the criteria to be a sound currency because satoshi created it to be a peer to peer currency. It was also not used and could not become currency. Not only governments, organizations but even we, the early investors, have never considered and used bitcoin as a currency. Just admit it,  we all just consider it as a speculative asset to enrich ourselves.

Sorry, I'm not a bitcoin maximalist and I also disagree with you that altcoins don't solve any problems. Yes, most altcoins are centralized but they are scalable, faster, lower transaction fees than bitcoin. There are also altcoins that offer better anonymity and privacy than bitcoin like Monero, Zcash.

Investing into altcoin is good as it has higher profit potential than bitcoin but with so many altcoins existing now, not all of them will definitely pump and reach a new highs. There is no enough liquidity to pump all those altcoins altogether. The  only alts I can think of that will make some moves this time are those that are AI and RWA related. There could be some gaming tokens that could pump but I don't think they will lead the parabolic pump this season.

The safest bet will always be bitcoin, even if it doesn't reach a new ATH this year and dumps afterwards, it will still pump and reach new high if you will hold patiently.

CZ has overview this market and said no way, things have change. Bitcoin isn't like before, I see his tweets every time and he spoke more of Bitcoin than any coins these days, he doesn't even give much attention to how Binance works again because that platform has loss every thing they all had, they are now alpha focus aidrop nonsense that what to please some whales but I don't blame him, as long as his fair share of founders allocation keeps coming, he is good.

Altcoins don't look healthy if you ask me, if you look at coin gecko it's new coins that pop out every day and I wonder who and who is throwing money on these new coins apart from venture capitals. People don't buy coins for long term again, they just buy and sell at 2-3x and then move to the next one, this has been the pattern for many years now. If this continue, I'm not sure we will ever have bull run as ventures capitals continue to invest in small ideas that only enrich them.

In fact, Bitcoin will always be the leader of altcoins, even as far as I see, Bitcoin has always been a reference for altcoins to follow, and strangely when Bitcoin experiences a decline in value, then altcoins fall drastically, while when Bitcoin experiences an increase in value, then altcoins will seem difficult to reach their ath again or create new aths. This shows that Bitcoin will always be number one, and one more fact, many altcoin creators take advantage of their creations, and then move them to buy Bitcoin. So we can conclude that, it is better for us to choose Bitcoin as a store of value rather than altcoins, which has been tested over time.

We are in bitcoin bull run, and I don't think that any other coin will be able to reach ATH alongside with bitcoin because it isn't altcoin season. The reason why only bitcoin is hitting ATH is because when bitcoin pumps, those altcoins pump a little and before they can maintain that price for some time, bitcoin price will dip, and it will affect these altcoins price to dip more than bitcoin price. When they dip, they find it very difficult to pump back. Bitcoin price always bounces back after a dip and create pump higher.

A company making such prediction like the crypto exchange should be taken more seriously if it gives a clear reason why it think this will happen. If it already done do so, the reason given shouldn't be far from the fact that Bitcoin is based on strong fundamentals, and the community promoting this fundamentals makes the uptrend even stronger
No matter how much money is invested in other cryptos, if they aren't based on the right fundamentals it won't have much impact.

The only way to keep the coins going up and hitting new highs is to be very innovative and useful without violating the Bitcoin/Blockchain principles such as low-barrier-to-entry, opensource, transparent, decentralized, permissionless, public-consensus based, privacy/anonymity friendly, trustlessness, permissionless, etc, Network/System.
There are coins that have done fairly well in this regard but need more exposure to gain more users and reach new high.
