I have nothing against wanting to invest in altcoins. But I do believe that only very few and close to little altcoins will reach new ATHs. Maybe they will just rise for a few times but ethereum or xrp may not reach their ATHs again. There are other reasons why one would want to invest in altcoins like transactions purposes but I believe if you are hoping to see a coin reach new ATHs this cycle, it will only be bitcoin.

People mostly talk about new All Time Highs while there is a more vital thing: whether Bitcoin or an altcoin survive and don't die after a market cycle.

In history of cryptocurrency market, it has been proven that Bitcoin is one of oldest cryptoccurrencies but it is the only one has survived though many market cycles since 2009. Or maybe there are few other old projects still survive in 2025 but their prices have not performed well like Bitcoin have shown so far.

Altcoins cannot be a good form of money because they are centralized, and the entities that control them will, according to game theory, always have an incentive to print more if demand increases. This destroys their monetary reliability, as users cannot be certain that the supply will remain limited. Without that certainty, the money loses its function as a store of value.

Altcoins solve nothing they are simply a return to fiat logic and central banking monetary systems, where a small group has the power to change the rules and expand the supply whenever it suits them.


Moreover, most altcoins were never even intended to function as money. They were created for other purposes  such as utility tokens, governance tools, platform fuel, or pure speculation. As a result, they don't meet the basic criteria of sound money like Bitcoin

BTC has always been the locomotive  the asset with real value, monetary significance, and actual use.Altcoins are scams, designed by founders and insiders to extract BTC from the hands of people who don’t understand what’s really going on  people with high time preference, prone to gambling. There’s nothing fundamentally valuable in altcoins.

The same pattern repeats over and over. Each time, though, there are fewer sheep left to shear  because once someone loses money, no matter how naïve or reckless they are, they rarely fall for the same trick again.

After each Bitcoin halving, miners reduce their selling pressure, as Bitcoin's monetary inflation is cut in half. Demand stays the same or grows, so price starts to climb gradually.As price continues to rise, the market enters a phase of euphoria and parabola. People start using margin trading, taking out loans, and the media screams “BTC to 150k, 200k!”  and the masses get caught in FOMO.

Retail flows in, but they don’t understand what’s happening. They don’t grasp why Bitcoin is rising or where the value comes from. Most think: “Bitcoin is too expensive now… I’ll buy ETH, it’s ‘only’ $3,000” or “XRP is just $2, looks cheap  it’s the same thing, right?” They start looking for “the next Bitcoin.”

Retail inflow pumps the altcoins but each cycle, the effect is weaker and weaker.

In history of cryptocurrency market, it has been proven that Bitcoin is one of oldest cryptoccurrencies but it is the only one has survived though many market cycles since 2009. Or maybe there are few other old projects still survive in 2025 but their prices have not performed well like Bitcoin have shown so far.

Yes, Bitcoin has been in the market since its inception. I have seen Bitcoin rise and fall for so long and experience very bad times. I have seen Bitcoin's price halve and experience the lowest and highest prices. Even after so many storms have passed over Bitcoin, Bitcoin has not been left behind in any way. ‌ Bitcoin is moving forward and will continue to move forward. In the near future, Bitcoin's position will improve further.

I have seen both good times and bad times, without which the crypto world cannot be imagined, but this Bitcoin Steel is moving forward. We have been fortunate enough to see a new high price of Bitcoin in 2025. And I hope to see more new ATHs in the future, let's see what happens in the end.

Some of the altcoins are good projects but it's us that invest in altcoins without investigate properly of altcoins, so people has made a good profit for investing in altcoins, so I will not condenm altcoins investments or discourage people will come across this post in future not to invest on altcoin.

Altcoins get rises when bitcoin rises and sometimes before altcoins get new ATHs they most something that encourages that, neither bitcoin has taken a new shape, and not all the altcoins that survive and experience a new ATHs..That's while I do encourages people to invest on altcoin that have potential, so any altcoins that doesn't that much potential do not survive and it good you invest on the on a short period.

This is not new to me at all and I have posted about it several times on the altcoins discussion. I warned people to be careful when the altcoins were performing. The altseason is now gone but which some people do not regard as altseason because bitcoin dominance did not reduce.

Also it is worth knowing that most altcoins did not get to all-time high at all in this cycle.

Each chooses his own fruit, and while, yeah, BTC is the biggest of them all: you don't choose a coin by how big it is, but by what it represents and has to offer.

And BTC is the biggest idealistic coin to date, it's true.

We cannot call Altcoins completely decentralized. Because many people in the market release many types of coins before that, even if the price increases for a few days, sometimes they disappear completely.Here, which organization released which coin, everything is in front of everyone.
So not everyone can trust all Altcoins.Now there are many Altcoins outside of Bitcoin
But most of them will lose their value one day or another, or will decrease...
Only Bitcoin has maintained its own value so far,
And it will one day be much higher.It is much more expensive than digital gold.

It is much better to buy Bitcoin with that money than to buy any Altcoin.

Good points, especially on supply control — that’s a big flaw in many altcoins. But not all of them aim to be money like Bitcoin. Some have other use cases, like smart contracts or governance. Still, Bitcoin remains the strongest when it comes to being sound money.

But there are heavier prediction that there's provably no altcoin season will happen since Bitcoin is still dominating the market and altcoin doesn't show any sign a progressive pumps that's why many conclude that we will finish this year without seeing those events.

Still who knows maybe there's sudden change of phase and altcoin would start to get a rally.

I don't know how much high people want Bitcoin price to go. See price of Bitcoin for last one month, it's almost above 100k all that time. Ups and downs are part of every trading asset and Bitcoin is not a different thing. Bitcoin can't be going up all the time, it has to take corrections. Bitcoin has started it's journey from zero dollar and in fifteen years it has managed to pass 100k. If we look at historical price of Bitcoin then it's clear that price will gradually go up with time. Those who think that Bitcoin is a 'quickly get rich' scheme are the one who keep talking that price of Bitcoin is low despite the fact it's trading over 100k.

You don't need to have anything against altcoins to understand that Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency, the fact is undisputable because Bitcoin is proving it's potentials in every bull circles since it's creation. Bitcoin cannot be manipulated like altcoins that are centralized because it is decentralized, quite frankly most altcoins are scams and when the owners pulls the plugs they will never rise to ATH again. Gamble your funds in altcoins and invest your funds in Bitcoin because it is the most trusted cryptocurrency to put your money into and not panic be when it dips.

If you talk discuss about altcoins then it is true that not many people wanted to invest in it for different reasons and we all know one of it which is that many altcoins didn't survive for too long that's why most people prefer to invest in bitcoin.
