Brand New here – need help understanding signature campaigns and ranking

I’m Nikhil from India and recently got interested in crypto. Hoping to learn from this amazing community.

I just created my Bitcointalk account today, and I’m completely new here. My current rank is Newbie and I have 0 posts so far.

I’ve heard about “signature campaigns” and how users can earn by posting regularly. But since I’m totally new, I’m confused about a few things:

1. What is the exact requirement to join a signature campaign?
2. How do I increase my rank from Brand New to Newbie?
3. How many posts or how much time does it usually take to become eligible?
4. Are there any official threads or guides I should read first?

I want to follow the forum rules properly and avoid any mistakes. I’ve checked a few threads but still need a clear direction as a beginner.

I command your openness about your main intentions of joining this forum. But you have a slight misconception about the forum. From my experience, if you want to grow on the forum, your priority should be to learn and contribute to the forum.

At least he was honest with what he wanted and had to get down to business, unlike some that would come and ask for guidelines to this place then in the next two days, open a thread on how to get merits.
Op, you should take the link that Octradism has provided for you and just to add that you'd have to be patient before you can start earning from this place. Take your time to get know this place, build your reputation, as well as grow your rank.
It's not everyone that has come here to seek guidelines have stayed because they feel it's difficult to thrive here. Give yourself to learning and you'd later discover that there's more to this place than the signature campaigns.

OP, joining a signature campaign shouldn't be the first thing in your mind if not, you wouldn't give yourself time to learn and improve yourself in the forum. As a newbie, you need to learn and read more than posting so that you can grow in knowledge and rank. It's what you know that will determine how fast you will rank up.

Take your time and build a reputable account for yourself and when the right time comes, you will participate in signature campaigns when you have reached the required rank. Beware of plagiarism and avoid being in a rush to rank up.

He gave sincere knowledge on how he came about the forum, took the bull by the horn. If OP wants to earn from signature campaigns he should be able to read and learn, also stick with following forum rules. In order for him to get signature space learning and contributing to the forum is a compulsory accomplishment, no airdrop merits so he has to put in work into developing himself both in knowledge and forum wise.

OP, you said you are from India. I'm not sure about the Indian board, but now that you know the fundamentals of ranks and signatures, you may be interested to know that local boards are usually a great place to start in this forum. They're more newbie-friendly and you may find merit sources that will help you rank up if you work hard and deserve it.

OP, I would suggest you to ask questions on your local board and follow them for necessary information. Because you will be able to understand the topics very easily from there and it will be in your local language which is easier to understand. For a beginner, global posts are a bit difficult which is not clear for newbies. But on your local board, you can easily get your required questions and answers in local language from some friendly members. Give more importance to local boards for learning.

That's not true. You can join signature campaign even you're Jr. Member or even Newbie if you have or availed copper membership. It always depends on the campaign if they want to accept Newbie rank or Jr. Member. But yes, most of the campaign nowadays only accepts Full Member ranks and above but it doesn't mean that you need to achive Full Member to be able to join any signature campaign.

Way back 2017 being Jr Member can earn 20$ per week but Now its very rare to find campaign that accepts Jr Member rank or even Full Member Rank.

For now, don't think too much about the signature campaign, it's better to increase your posts to increase your ranking.

At least become a full member, most BTC paid signature campaigns are acceptable ranks.
But when you become a Jr/Member rank, you can wear a signature but the text is limited.

2. How do I increase my rank from Brand New to Newbie?

You are now a newbie.
Continue to increase your posts with quality... later merit will come by itself from the posts you make, it can increase your account rank.

3. How many posts or how much time does it usually take to become eligible?

You are free to post as much as you want, as long as you don't spam.
Newbies usually have to wait 360 seconds for each post if they want to post.

4. Are there any official threads or guides I should read first?

Yeah, you can read the link guide that has been listed by several users.

I don't blame newbies who come to the forum and start talking about how to earn from signature campaigns, it could be the person who introduced them to the forum only told them they can earn from the forum without telling them the important things about the forum that they need to know before reaching the level of knowing what a signature campaign is. OP i know you are very eager to make some money here and i believe that was what enticed you to join the forum but if you only have that mindset, it will be difficult for you to grow so it is better to know about the forum rules, things you can do and things you shouldn't do and also remove the idea of earning from a signature campaign now till you reach a full member rank and above.

No mate, I have no advice for you, the fact that you already have a wrong idea and mentality towards this Forum makes us clear that you have a lot of work to do and if care is not taken you may lose your motivation along the line since you have to put in a lot of work to be able to earn from those forum, and sure you think this forum is profits making. It's not, but. discussion forum for cryptocurrency enthusiasts.


As a newbie, your focus should be on learning since you said that you are new to cryptocurrency and you want to start earning outrightly with your newbies account.

Hi Nikhil, welcome.
Please take your mind off of earning at thing here for now. You are a newbie and you should be here to learn about bitcoin, contribute to conversations about the economy, share your experience with trading or mining if you have any, join or learn from others who discuss about gambling and how it is done. There are so many other boards that you can read and literally go from beginner to intermediate level knowledge  in bitcoin. One thing is sure, you will not be eligible to join any signature campaign in the next 6 months and so the idea of that should be pushed to the back of your mind for now.

That’s not true. There are signature campaigns and campaign managers that accept member rank although they are not very common. OP just needs to work on developing himself and learning more about the crypto space, I’m sure every campaign manager wouldn’t want to pass on a quality poster.

@op, it seems to me that you are more interested in earning from the forum than in learning about crypto as you claim. It is not bad, though, but it is a bit too early for you to start thinking about signature campaigns.

My reason is this: if you shift your focus now to signature campaigns, you might start getting too desperate to rank up and, in the process, jeopardize your account.

The ranking-up requirements have already been sent to you. Take your time and be consistent. You will become a Full Member and can officially become eligible to apply for signature campaigns.

Looks like that you already have an idea to be honest, you're a quick poster and you've been following threads quickly so I guess that just post naturally. And did you just say that you're from India? participate more in the topics in the local and you'll get more understanding on how things go from the forum. Just remember that these campaigns are just an incentive and follow also the threads and posts you make if there are replies.

Actually when the account created it will start to Brand New Rank.  Which is no post no activity and no merit.

every campaign have different requirements or let says rules and regulations. But if I were you Don't think it first. Focus on how you grow here in commity.

Simple you make 1 Post in order to reach newbie rank.

if you are brand new then you have time limit to make another post after you made the first one. But that's not too long you can post another after the time.

Pinned post above is the best thread to read cause there's a guide and all you need to know is in there.

Well he can also apply for signature campaign if he is a member, have you forgotten some campaign accept from member to legendary, when you are a member you are not allowed to wear an Avatar but you can wear the signature, right now in the forum you hardly see a campaign that the manager wants a member rank account to get involved, but they do before and can't still do it so you must not be a full member before you can join a campaign as a member you can but only when the campaign manager allows it .

Yeah you are right the OP was honest in what he wants and for me I like honestly, however for the fact he knows about signature campaign I'm sure someone that is already in this forum and already in a campaign enjoying the benefit of that campaign was the one that brought him to the forum so it would have been better he asked that person this questions than bring it up here.
OP now that you have made your intentions clear I will advise you work hard in building your account first learn about the forum and read posts here.
If you are in a rush to start making money here then you will never rank up and I must warn you this forum is a very discipline forum we don't tolerate breaking rules and regulations so go through the rules and regulations of the forum.

I actually like his boldness for coming out clear and not pretending with the objective of coming here. He's simply being misinformed on the purpose of this great forum by some fellow. However, the question that normally pop up in my head after seeing threads like this is how they get to know about the forum? Is it through relatives/friends or they find it on their own? Because if it is through the former, they ought to have put them through in the first place instead of allowing them to come here with a total confusion. If it is through latter, they won't easily discover about the signature campaigns and the earning part of the forum.

Op, the forum is not just about signature campaigns to earn money, it's more than mere earning. If you are ready to explore the forum, it'll definitely equip you with knowledge that money can't buy. You've been offered various links to make things easier for you to know more about the forum and of course, about the signature campaigns too despite that you're ineligible to participate at the moment.
