That's right. Everyone who started gambling didn't think that they were so vulnerable to their inability to control their emotions. I think even when you manage to have such a high self-control and are religiously disciplinated as a person still going for a gambling session can pose great risks. I know that such persons know the basic stuff and even further than that yet still can become prey of losing control because of many factors. Everyone including these guys who have a huge self-control are not immune from emotions and exactly these emotions can play great tricks on human mind which can lead to even such strong virtue persons to lose control in their gambling session. I like this rule the most because this is where most of us miss it and are unable to wield any self control. It is a huge temptation. The best remedy to a losing streak is to take a break for some days and weeks if possible. Yes, the acceptance that losing is part of the game is what everyone must have to deal with. I really liked the point about defining your type of gambling or betting, in which I would be most successful. Of all the rules that was written by OP, I think this is the most common scenario that has always been happening. Though most of the gamblers are well aware that chasing losses may end up being in the worst situation. It's almost inevitable not to chase for your losses, especially if you always have spare money to  continue playing. Sometimes, I am like this, though I already know that chasing losses are not a good practice, but that little faith are always lingering around waiting till you get into that situation again.
