I've seen more and more recent casino-type apps using an edited image or video of Mr. Beast, with the language dubbed for the country where the app is intended. This is apparently a clear sign that AI is being used to impersonate some influencers or famous public figures to attract people to these apps.

I don't know if all of these apps are scams, but they have a high probability of being so, or at least based on misleading advertising.

I attribute all of this to the growing improvement of AI for video editing like VEO 3.

But I urge you to be cautious when trying to join certain apps without first doing a search to validate what they're really about.

Not sure if someone has fallen for it, but yeah, it could be true that this app is laden with malware that will still everything from you, including bank data and crypto wallet. And I do agree, the advantage of AI with VEO-3 is really dangerous as it's hard to separate what's real and what's not.

Who knows, like you said, the personalities used aren't even aware that their pics or videos are being used? I have only been seeing couple of casino advertisements popping up everywhere and then in the internet. Either when I am surfing the net or on the social media platforms. It keep obstructing my operation with their untimely popping of AD's.

Some automatically take you to the apple or play store overemphasizing or trying to convince you so that you download the app with how too  beautiful the graphics are while steamers are busy displaying all those unrealistic betting strategies and displaying players wins just so persons can get attracted and fall to their plans.

In as much I know how good the scammers might tend to act, I find such casino adverts and their speculations irritating because they are either fake  neither do I find them interesting.

It is really important to verify before we key in to any of those strange casinos. If possible, stay consistent with the casino you have tested it reputability and don't take out of greed to oversight good returns of a strange casino and fall to their scamming tricks.

I never installed an Android application that I don't really have knowledge about, especially about gambling or online casinos. We should avoid this, and I have learned my lesson back in the past, although many say that the Android OS is secure. Yet, if it's an application that we installed and we provided information, it would go to the hacker's system, and that's when everything will be messed up. There may be no virus inside it, but the application itself is the virus that will steal our information when we put in our details.

We need to aware and always check the apps come from the site.  If we are in the real site, we don't have to worry but we can ask the details to support system before downloading the app.

If they were genuine with their work, they would use only authentic tools to promote their app and not use AI to deceive people.

Looks like this has been around for a while, Yahoo already released a fact-check report about it. As you can see in the link, it was published on May 21, 2024, so that’s almost a year ago. It’s the same casino since it uses the same name, so I’m pretty sure a lot of people are already aware of it .. except maybe those who really have no idea how these scam apps work.

On social media they are launching a barrage of campaigns for another app that has the same name, but if you try to download it they are always different applications.
The game is called Chicken Road and they are literally running an aggressive advertising campaign.
They make you think you can win large amounts of money without any effort, the thing that worries me is not so much the amounts you could lose, but if they steal your data.

Honestly this is a high charade of nonsense that's going on and they are so confidence in creating those fake and scam advertisement that will lure users and the use of renowned celebrities and influencers is an opportunity for the individuals to put up trust on that casino. I made a rule for myself never to click or download what I'm not sure of, I'll research first so that I don't become a victim of scammers and hackers. When it comes to gambling I can only click on the sites of reputable casinos, I don't get tempted to tryout an unknown gambling site because I saw a celebrity or influencer promoting it.

AI came with good intentions but people are abusing it for fun and to deceive others, when I watch some videos on social media I'd first take a good look whether it's real or AI. We should be more aware of the schemes of criminals that are using AI to deceive many.

Based on the OP and on the app itself (you know, its name and image), yeah it is. Gambling by default is already risky and how much more dealing with these shady casino apps? Online casinos are so popular now that they even dominated the app store that we know and can even conceal their selves as a normal app or a game, only to bypass the filter.

The problem is not actually the gambling app but it is on how we download them. It is always advised to only download them inside on the platform that we are using, to ensure that it was the real app. There are still some benefits of playing on the website instead of the app like we are always getting the full experience. But for me, I like how convenient apps are.

There are many people suffering from such advertisement, mostly the old and people unaware of online gambling. These apps and games don't necessarily be a scam but the way they advertise it, people believe all they would get is win and huge amount of money. I even found my elderly mom install one and she was asking me to load money for her. I told her that these things are not for her and she should stay away from it but she argued me saying many people seem to have made fortune with the app and it's me who don't know how to make money and am preventing her when she's trying to do so.

I think for people in the crypto scene they have to be extra cautious when it comes to downloading content, even if it's not on the same device that they use - exposed passwords on one can make you vulnerable elsewhere. You have to avoid downloading random stuff from app stores and probably only want to keep the bare minimum of applications installed. Anyone that enthralled by and chasing celebrities is possibly going to be tricked more than usual. I've seen enough social media accounts get hacked over the years that I'd even avoid direct links that are posted on these celebrity accounts and try to do some external validation on whether the app/program has a decent reputation. Another good sign is when it has hundreds of thousands or millions of downloads, when it has a few hundred then it could easily be a scam.
