I'm sure there are many Dutch streamers who promote unregistered gambling platform, but this one unfortunately not lucky enough.

Same to us ,are you sure the casinos you promote are registered in your country? mine isn't. The difference is we didn't show our face and this forum has a low traffic compared to social medias.

This is very popular everywhere, especially here in our country, mostly are in social media, where some of their video include advertising any gambling platforms, and these gambling platforms pay a huge amount of money to these personalities, especially if they have a lot of followers.

They shoould be one of the reasoon to blame why gambling is being popular in our country and even young people do gambliiing.
But we cant blame those streamers because of the money, it is really a big amount everytime you will go live playing oon their platform.

Small channels might not last long if they stay ignorant of the law. The penalties can be heavy, especially if it’s not their first offense. It’s really not worth promoting an unlicensed casino, everything a streamer worked hard for could be gone in an instant, and they might even face legal action.

But of course, it still depends on the country. In the Philippines, for example, there are still a lot of vloggers promoting unlicensed casinos and somehow they’re still getting away with it.. at least for now.

That is for countries where the law works. There are countries where certain actions come with heavy penalty in which people will always weigh the consequences of their actions before performing them. In such countries, I doubt any streaming will bolding take the step of streaming for unregistered casino because they will face serious penalties. In my country, the government seems to be too busy to check things like these, so Vloggers are enjoying their freedom promoting whatever they like without any interference.

The biggest reason for this is the huge amount of money offered by gambling companies. You may not be able to make much money promoting other legitimate things. But a celebrity is paid a lot of money to promote a gambling site. I think the only gambling platform in the world that spends the most money on advertising is the one. Government should step up in this situation to eliminate those kind of activity. In these countries where gambling is a form of entertainment, it's one of the industry that provide big revenue to the government. Remember during pandemic? Gambling is the only industry that wasn't much affected, and in fact, it even became a trendy thing.

Even if any country is not gambling friendly and things are going strict they are working due to face off channels on social media even few are doing good job, but many countries fail to do things which can stop them from doing this job.
Many countries are surely having big share of revenue from this, but few are facing problems due to corrupt system and peoples are taking good advantage and enjoying their stuff which is helping them for having more followers and revenue in referrals.
Due to them gambling is getting good popularity and new generation is also having serious problems due to this which needed to be had some strict control but sadly greediness and few other factors are having their own impact which is also negative but no one trying to understand.

It is certain that the influencer's residence is in a country that prohibits gambling activities so that the man was punished for promoting gambling on social media, actually this is an activity that has occurred very often in various countries and maybe the man also actually knows that his country prohibits gambling but because of the very large payment he dares to break the rules in his country.

This is a tough question since I'm honest about my gambling and I've promoted casinos in my signature, so I'd probably advertise a casino if I were a streamer. The problem here is that the streamer in question promoted a site that has no license to operate in his country. I'd probably hire a lawyer to help me with all the red tape so they wouldn't sue me over it. I'd choose my partners carefully.

You have to be careful with this things. This one crossed the line here and it looks as if it is very deliberate. Why do you have to break the rules when you know that eventually you would be caught? It is only a few pennies that you would make in profit but lose them all in reputation and in the fines that will be slammed on you. This is how these influencers and celebrities promote scam cryptocurrency projects because of the little money they want to gain at the detriment of their followers. I am happy that this one did not escape the law. At least others like him would refrain from these type of illegal promotions.

The reason why the influencer was sanctioned is not because the casinos were fraudulent or unfair, but because they are not registered in the Netherlands. So it is important to only promote casinos that are registered or licensed in your jurisdiction.

I am even more concerned about these influencers promoting fraudulent casinos. Some of them are not concerned about the reputation of the casinos they promote, all they focus on is their financial benefit.

I read this article many times and I confess that I didn't understand anything. Some points that I didn't understand:

1 - In which country does Djade Sadloe currently live?

2 - Why is Saudi Arabia warning him and at the same time the Netherlands too?

I ask this because if he is living in Saudi Arabia, then he would have to be fined by the Saudi Arabian regulator and not by the Dutch regulator. Now, if he lives in the Netherlands, then Saudi Arabia has no business interfering in the guy's life. Only the Dutch regulator can fine, warn or punish him.

In my opinion, this is a very empty article. They don't explain much. I don't understand what kind of journalism this is. Maybe I'm the one who's wrong. But I see this article as being very incomplete. It almost seems like they're second guessing the guy. I hope to see more reliable news from newspapers about this problem with Djade Sadloe so that I can give it credibility.

If I were an influencer there are principles that I would leave by. Yes I want to make money but how I make the money is better than how much money I make and this is what I should always have in mind.

That is censorship. Imagine you being a famous individual who wished to play at unregulated crypto casinos you have been used to access along the years, while sharing your referral link with your public. Would you deserve being fined in thousands of euros or dollars because of that?

Keep in mind a casino isn't scam just because it's not regulated. It can be legit and still be unregulated. Many businesses here in crypto universe were unregulated during the early years of this industry and still maintained a positive and long lasting reputation.

Trust goes beyond regulations. Meanwhile, governmemts don't care about trust. They just want extra income through further taxes, and in order to do so, they want to decide where you can and where you can't play. They want to be the middleman between the service and the customer. That is all.

Definitely, what’s the point building a large audience without making money out from same audience. That’s what big brands do which is common they pay influencers for marketing ads and there’s nothing bad in doing that besides I will make research and try out the casino first before advertising, the problem is trying to advertise an unregistered gambling platform and it doesn’t mean all gambling platform will follow suit so long as you’re careful and make research before accepting an offer. Of course I will definitely do that, as long it's going to bring food to my table but it has to be a reputable casino like stake, duelbits, Rainbets etc I have seen some influencers advertise this brands or casino yet they aren't facing any legal issues because they are not doing anything against the law but however the casino that the influencer advertiser is not registered in the country hence it's makes it illegal.

This people want to also benefit from this casinos but once they refuse to comply they are tainted evil or bad hence anyone associated with the casinos activities will also be fined, which is indirectly getting what they want, for me it doesn't make any sense at all.

This is crucial. It's their responsibility to background check the sites that will promote if they don't want to end up  experiencing the same situation. Because if it is found as unregulated, the owner itself can't help you get out in trouble.

Your conscience just doesn't agree with gambling. The only reason I find social media gambling promotions somewhat wrong is that underaged people are there and might get tempted to try gambling and end up addicted. Apart from this, I see nothing else wrong. The target is adults, and adults should know better how to handle themselves. As long as I am not promoting a scam casino, an unverified, unlicensed, and unregistered casino, my conscience will be totally free. It will be left for the adult to gamble more responsibly to avoid getting into trouble. Even if you don't teach them gambling, they will still learn it anyway from a different source, and maybe from the wrong people.

That guy was trending. He's hospitalized, got treated and operated and yet, the link is under the comment section. 
It's only a matter of time that this new law will come and even senator Zubiri started to make a draft about disallowing all kinds of online gamble in the country. As long as there's a need to bet for, he wants to make sure that no countrymen is going to be addicted to it. It's not too late for his draft to become a law because I think that we really need that to make it happen and hopefully there will be more support to that draft and expedite it to become a law.
