Strategy don't work when gambling, it might work for sport betting because then you'll have some references to fall back to when strategizing but for gambling that you'll have to depend completely on luck, you can't have a strategy for that. Positive mindset c a keep you winning but for that to happen, you'll need some luck too because it's due to you being lucky that you can. Win for a consecutive number if times. If isn't your strategy or any other things thing that's making you to win but only because of you have some luck. There's no need of being negative when gambling becauye that isn't going to help you. You'll have to be positive because this is going to help you more than being negative about the bets that you have placed.

What strategies can there be in gambling? Were there no topics on the forum suggesting that it's nearly impossible to create a system or strategy that will help you win? However, a good mood will always lead to the best behavior in games, and a positive attitude can be a key factor in gambling. When we are in a good mood, we take losses more easily and do not chase them or play until we think it is safe for our funds. You know that even with that positive mindset and you didn't have good analysis or you made a random bet do you think you would still win the game? In nutshell, making good prediction and analysis while gambling draws you more closer and even though having a positive mindsets helps us to remain balanced without even feeling bad, there should be a thorough findings or research to guide you and also helps getting you more closer to winning that just remaining positive. Of course positive mindset is just like soul motivator but the real tool is doing your analysis properly in order to make a possible winning.

There is nothing that ensures that we will be able to get a definite win in gambling, whether it is a strategy or a positive mindset. It all depends on our own luck in gambling, besides that I think one of the victories of gamblers in gambling is being able to stop gambling at the right time. I think that a positive mindset helps you deal well with losses and manage your finances optimally, I don't think it affects whether you win or not.

What if a person has nothing but a positive mindset in gambling?

It’s kind of like what we see with gambling addicts, they fall in love with the act of gambling itself. They don’t care much about bankroll management, logic, or long-term results. They just stay overly optimistic that eventually, they’ll win big, even if they keep losing.

In the other thread that you are making reference to which same topic has been treated extensively, I still see some valid comments and people that shares same idea you posted here. Having positive mindset alone can not guarantee steady winning, and can not even guarantee having just one win. There are some days, when you start gambling, the first result would be a loss, follow by the second, third and maybe a win on the 4th wagering. Despite that the person started with a positive mindset, but the results was still on losses. So, it doesn't matter whether someone has a positive mindset or not, what must happen, must happen.

There's no need of being negative when gambling becauye that isn't going to help you. You'll have to be positive because this is going to help you more than being negative about the bets that you have placed.

In my opinion , it is best to keep a neutral attitude when gambling, neither negative nor positive .  A positive attitude is essential in life as it brings many good things and benefits, but it can be counterproductive and cause  negative consequences if applied to gambling.

I agree that positive mentality will not win the games for you neither will it overturn the results on your behalf in your favour.  But staying positive can help your mentality enough to keeping you long in the game. Better still it does keep your emotions far away from the game just to keeping you gamble better especially when you aren't gambling just for fun but to make sure you get some profits off it even if it's not often.

You may not have to completely relay on positive mentality alone but having it compliments your success and it's a very vital ingredient needed for your gambling habits,  I'd you don't,  you are likely going to be very impulsive after a few losses.  You may even proceed to getting bankrupt due to your impulsiveness because you really want to win desperately but if you have some positive mind set, you will just know how to handle all of that and not get to that point of addiction and loosing yourself gambling.

Positive mindset is just one of the factor but not the main requirement its good if you have this but also its good if you will include critical thinking, skills and risk management because these are one of the gamblers most likely forgot even you are positive towards winning but if you didn't make a risk management with your capital you will ended up losing most of your money also considering with the critical thinking and skills is with the use in a game that you are capable to win with such as a strategy game which has a higher chance of winning than making an all in with the slot games.

You are absolutely correct but when we made mention of positive mindset a lot of things comes to our mind and I was just wondering how someone will have a positive mindset without having a strategy(s), anyone who has positive mindset should equally have strategies in gambling because these two work hand in hand in order for someone to have a desire and expected goal. Gambling is very risky and complex and even to some point I believe and still think that gambling is beyond positive mindset and strategy because only luck keep us afloat sometimes or most times and if not for luck I wonder what we would have been saying about gambling.

Positive mindset in gambling can also give good results to the gambler but it will not be long-lasting. The pattern of winning in gambling can change. Sometimes it is seen that a gambler is winning repeatedly and sometimes it is seen that they are winning after losing for a long time. Now if the person who is losing repeatedly is not aware of his bankroll or financial situation, then it will definitely not be acceptable. Sometimes gambling has to be conducted outside the rules. I've come across alot of persons who like to believe that keeping a positive mind makes the chances of winning even more than, even myself often like to keep things positive but in reality that's not enough to make us profitable in gambling.  We need more than that, we need luck. Luck is the only reason we can walk out of a casino house or betting hall with smile on our faces because we made some win. Though we don't get to experience this all the time and that's why it's luck because we cannot dictate when and when not it should come. This means that it was not the mindset, knowledge, and skill that made us win, but purely luck. However, having a positive mindset doesn't mean it is all about winning but rather about understanding how gambling works. Like if you were able to understand the situation, you were also able to accept whatever happened. What positive mindset can do for a gambler is just to keep you at a motivated level and for sure it has nothing to contribute to the outcome of your bet if you failed to do you accurately well drafted analysis, so for that I can't classify mentaining a positive mindset to be a gambling skills at all, it just an individual mood thing and nothing more to that in the end. Just like cryptocurrency trading, positive mindset have no impact on the ability of the trader to make profits unless with skills and analysis that when profits will come.
