That is where rationality must come into play, because in gambling, a positive mindset alone is not enough to make everything turn out well. In fact, when we think too positively, we will consider any loss to be normal and will not stop gambling because we simply view it as a delayed victory. From what I know, many gamblers really do have that kind of mindset. Actually, I was one of them when I was starting out in the gambling industry. I eventually realized that it’s not true; instead, that mindset just makes us chase the money we've already lost while playing.

It is not the positive mindset but luck is in play when you play. The positive mindset is just a psychological angle that will give you reason to accept whatever the results of your game is.
