Degree is still important we are in 2026 where people earn lot of money because of skills. But we cannot ignore the value of degree. Thinking about that we should not spend lot of money on degree is wrong approach. Many people shift their perspective from degree to skills, because of the influence of social media, youths are spending huge amount in the name of skills to get better job. Although it works but long term patience is required here, which youngster have lack. Moreover it's my personal experience few months ago. I went for interviews in an office but they have asked me about my final degree not about my skills. So I got job on the basis of my degree. To be honest, I'd really like to know if anyone here has found a job at a reputable company with a stable position and salary without a degree.
As I have said before, do not rush to believe what tabloid newspapers or social media spread without verification. Because, in fact, when we apply for a job at 10 companies, 9 of them will require a degree first. If we do not have a degree, they will not even bother to look at our resume, let alone give us a chance to advance to the next round.
