I haven't tried that coin race game yet, does what I see in the picture with a wager mean that it's accumulative? If the answer is Yes, there's a second question, is once you see the wager in the picture, will the multiplier automatically be around 28x?

It was a very good win. I am not used to playing the game you mentioned and I have no experience. So I am just surprised to see such a win but I don't know the process of playing this game so I can't enjoy it myself haha. That's a common thing to happen in wagering contest, so do not force ourselves to wager more than what we can because whales can beat us easily even in the last minutes with few big bets. However, I cant say it is as manipulation because it can be said as strategy, which is by waiting for the last days to predict or to know the ability of the other competitors in the contest.
