Many countries mostly the advance countries now using bitcoin to support their parties and candidates. Recently, Elon Musk who supported Donald Trump in the recent concluded general election in America last year which brought Trump to Power had a clashed (dispute) with Trump and and left the party (Republican) and formed his own political party and according to information I got, the party is to support Bitcoin. I don't know if that is also in the party BLUEPRINT. And if it is so I think that is a good idea of supporting Bitcoin and it will make it growth stronger. If the Americans Party wins the Presidential seat in America, Elon Musk will adopt Bitcoin as the legal tender currency in the country. President Donald Trump said the "Americans Party" is ridiculous. Capitalists have a strong influence in politics. But right now I don't know the sole candidate of the Party. Politics can make bitcoin to be more adopted by countries if the State Actors fully support the Currency. Musk goes political: forms party to support BTC, rejects fiat

Trump criticized the move, accusing Musk of fueling political chaos.

One thing you should know is to never trust the words of a politician. Now Elon Musk is looking to form a party of his own simply because of a fallout. Remember when he said he was going to accept Bitcoin as payment for his EV, Tesla, then not less than three months after he stopped it, although he stated his reasons but the point I'm trying to make is this; the words of these businessmen can't be taken too seriously as it can change. The way I see it, he just says what the public wants to hear. Do not be surprised that should such a thing work, like him ursuping power from the current president in an election and he manages to become President of the United States, that he may choose to promote DOGECOIN and not Bitcoin like everyone expected. If you ask me, I'd say I don't count Elon Musk as someone who is pro Bitcoin, rather he just uses it as a front sometimes to get what he wants.

Dogecoin is a meme coin. Elon Musk has joked about it many times and has even stated clearly that he was just joking and even told people not to buy Dogecoin. But it's not his fault that people are naive or don't understand that Dogecoin is a "shitcoin"just a meme with massive inflation. There are 10,000 new Dogecoins created every single minute! That’s actually worse inflation than fiat How can a meme coin ever be considered "sound money"?All shitcoins can never be sound money, and honestly, all altcoins are just shitcoins. Bitcoin is the only real, sound money. People really need to do their own research before buying into hype coins like this.

Trump criticized the move, accusing Musk of fueling political chaos. Musk couldn't do that since he can't be elected president since he is not a natural born citizen. The odds of them winning the presidency barring some insanity is infinitesimal. The odds of them trying and succeeding in winning a few strategic House or Senate seats is significantly higher however if they do win, they will soon discover that without structural changes back towards founding principles they will be impotent and will only enable the statists to advance against liberty more.

I knew about the new party, yeah – that Musk actually did it was wild enough. But didn’t realize Bitcoin might be part of the plan. If that’s in the blueprint, it changes the tone. Not sure if it's just buzz or real intent, though. BTC and politics… always feels like oil and water. Still, if it gains legal ground like that, we’re in for a strange new chapter.

You have just said what i have in mind because the words and aspiration of any politician is not to be taken to heart because they are all filled with lies and deceit. I think Donald Trump have already opened the eyes of bitcoiners never to trust politicians again because after all the support the bitcoin community gave him during and after the 2024 elections, he betrayed us all and now Elon Musk is also trying to act as if he is a supporter of bitcoin when we all know that he is ONLY interested in DOGECOIN.

lol! Don’t trust him either but for his Dogecoon to boom a little then Bitcoin must boom as well and for the Reserve speculation, altcoins are part just that Bitcoin is the big picture so him supporting Bitcoin could means he’s indirectly supporting Dogecoin or he clearly has a plan for himself and only himself because that has always been his plans after all.

Most times it is always like this we don't know who to trust when it comes to politics, because before winning the election, it was as if Trump will fully support Bitcoin, he went about using and talking about Bitcoin which made everyone to believe that he will not fail Bitcoin, which was now making the price of Bitcoin to be increasing on daily bas es, but to our greatest surprise immediately after his swearing in things change for Bitcoin, he came up with his own coin, brought out high tariffs that reduced the price of Bitcoin drastically, now Elon Musk is saying is own who do we believe, thw are only looking for support from Bitcoinners because they know how a lot of persons now support and prefers Bitcoin to their traditional currency because of its trust, autonomy and other good qualities that he has that is now bonding the universe as one. It would have being better if the politicians leaves Bitcoin of politics and focus on their game of politics.

While there's HYPE around something, that thing will be the topic of the moment. When it comes to winning votes, anything goes, even playing dirty. I don't care about Trump or Elon Musk, but they're both opportunists who take advantage of the Bitcoin hype. If the hype were about criticizing Bitcoin, they'd be right there, loud and proud, bashing it to win votes. As the saying goes, they dance to whatever tune is playing.

Bitcoin is actually not related to anything, including politics, but political parties or even politicians themselves always make this an arena for them to gain electability because they realize that the influence of bitcoin can give them more votes because this can boost support for them.
I think we have to start realizing that the initial concept of not trusting influencers and politicians too much when talking about bitcoin because after all they only make this a means to benefit personally. There have been many examples of this including for Trump so it would be a bit outrageous to look up to someone (politician or political party) as if they are a hope for bitcoin because in fact bitcoin will not be affected by anything and will not be related to anyone.

Yes, I agree with you because a few days ago, during the USA elections, similar things happened. Donald Trump gave a speech about bitcoin at a seminar a few days before the election. He revealed a roadmap for its future. Since then, his support has increased a lot, but we see a different picture of him after winning the election. I think we have to start realizing that the initial concept of not trusting influencers and politicians too much when talking about bitcoin because after all they only make this a means to benefit personally.
The primary reason influential people and politicians discuss bitcoin is that they stand to benefit personally from it. They use bitcoin as a tool to gain power for their personal gain and establish credibility.

even if he actually wins, which is already unrealistic on its own, it is impossible for him to totally scrape the us dollar and replace it with bitcoin bitcoin is not us’ currency and it will never be if bitcoin were to replace fiat totally there would be consequences on the economy that i doubt elon musk is prepared for he can legalize bitcoin but use it to replace fiat? don’t fall for it

The same Musk who led Tesla to cash out most of its Bitcoin holdings in 2022 thereby reducing the company’s BTC reserve by about 75% now appears to be shifting his stance again. As far as I know, Musk is a full blown capitalist, and his comments on Bitcoin no longer carry the weight they did back in 2022, when the price plunged over 59% amid Tesla’s selloff and a broader market downturn. At the time, many saw the move as aligning more with his growing interest in meme coins than with long-term belief in Bitcoin.
Today, Musk backing Bitcoin while dismissing fiat seems more like an attempt to generate unnecessary FOMO. Let’s be real fiat isn’t going anywhere. It’s not being replaced; it’s simply being digitized into CBDCs.

If the Americans Party wins the Presidential seat in America, Elon Musk will adopt Bitcoin as the legal tender currency in the country.
This will never happen. It should be noted that the US president does not have the authority to change the country's currency. Changing a national currency is an extremely complex process and requires approval from multiple agencies as well as congressional approval. Under the federal constitution, the power to manage the monetary system rests with Congress, the Treasury Department, and is supervised by the Federal Reserve. The only thing the president can do is make a proposal, he does not have the unilateral power to do that.

Yes, all decisions are on multiple sides so whatever the deal is, Musk can't go it alone. It seems like Elon Musk's response to making the party was because he was disappointed in Trump. Trump's decision to make tax cuts made Elon choose to leave Trump's supporters. In general, it seems that Elon will be more into technology development. I think this party will bring the issue of crypto being used as a tool, like Trump. We already understand how politics works, so don't trust 100% when it comes to politics. But on the other hand, I'm quite happy that more and more influential people will pay attention to crypto. It means the future of crypto will be better. But another condition is the policies that we sometimes don't like, because sometimes economic policies conflict with crypto. We have felt this in the Trump administration.

Musk goes political: forms party to support BTC, rejects fiat
Elon Musk launched the America Party, positioning it as a pro-Bitcoin, anti-fiat alternative to the existing political system.
Trump criticized the move, accusing Musk of fueling political chaos. Elon was for crypto even before but people from the internet are putting too much clout of what he's said that fiat. Before most of us are happy when Trump talked about the support for Bitcoin. And now, we see that it's Musk that's saying that he's for Bitcoin even though we already know that he's for crypto but mostly with memes before. Well, politics here and there is such a wild west and there's more to wait for the clash of these two.

Elon also does shit like Doge, so I don't give a shit about what he thinks. He can save it for his fake account on Steam or whatever. Politics still needs to be won with old school tactics and old money. And until one of the Bitcoin whales becomes a true politician, we wont see anything useful related to Bitcoin come down with this. I don't even know why we should care so much tbh.

He's free to say anything he wants to say there and that's even how his bout started with Trump due to his tweets. I don't even know why we should care so much tbh.
Because he's Elon and he agreed about Bitcoin and said fiat is hopeless?

The thing is that some people don't really understand politicians, they say many things to deceieve those that want to be deceievd, most of us are wise and wouldn't even want to give a damn on what they say because at the end of the day it won't see the light of the day, those guys don't have conscience when they lie, those guys are fiat friendly so what ever I hear them say remains a fallacy, we saw all that before and after US election, many of us thought that by now Bitcoin would've hit higher than it is but what did we see a different scenario right, so for me, even though that tweet is the words of Elon musk as we have seen, I think it should be back up with practical actions from him, so at this point I think action is believing, we shouldn't get excited for no reason when there's nothing to show for it, policians and their deceitful antics.
