One thing I am certain about is that these politicians will keep using Bitcoin to gain the popularity they so crave until it gets to the point where they all lose their credibility and no one gives a fuck anymore about their stance on Bitcoin. However, for now, let them ride the wave and help more with the mass adoption of Bitcoin.

Right now, if a politician publicly supports bitcoin... the community cheers and spreads the news like wildfire because it is still so rare. Not to mention that it also would mean a lot for your country to finally accept bitcoin. We are certainly in that phase where slowly countries are accepting bitcoin. At some point, maybe there will be enough politicians in favor of bitcoin but I do not think the novelty will wear off. It is like any other social issue people take a stand on.

Just like you said, we are still in the early stages and new to the government, finally embracing Bitcoin and the crypto community at large. When Bitcoin was launched at first many people called it a scam project that could never hit a dollar, at times goes on people started realizing that the adoption is increasing and some said the price will crash and will not hit 100 bucks. Elon Musk has not been a steadfast supporter of Bitcoin. He was good at causing FUD in the market. He stopped Tesla from accepting Bitcoin claiming that it destroys the environment.  If he were not considering promoting a political party,  would he have reconsidered his support?

Do you believe that Elon Musk doesn't fully support Bitcoin and is doing it solely for the growth of his business? The question is, how can this idea be implemented if they haven't yet established power in the region, and to gain that power they'll have to fight the two major parties there.

The political system of the USA is currently based on a two-party electoral system (the Republican Party and the Democratic Party). Therefore, it is far from certain that Elon Musk will be able to create a viable third political party. However, even if this attempt is successful, we are talking more about a small representation in Congress and the Senate (several congressmen and several senators). These people will help Elon Musk lobby his industrial projects. If we talk about Elon Musk's attitude to Bitcoin, then in my opinion, he does not take the first cryptocurrency very seriously and even a little ironically. Many countries mostly the advance countries now using bitcoin to support their parties and candidates. Recently, Elon Musk who supported Donald Trump in the recent concluded general election in America last year which brought Trump to Power had a clashed (dispute) with Trump and and left the party (Republican) and formed his own political party and according to information I got, the party is to support Bitcoin. I don't know if that is also in the party BLUEPRINT. And if it is so I think that is a good idea of supporting Bitcoin and it will make it growth stronger. If the Americans Party wins the Presidential seat in America, Elon Musk will adopt Bitcoin as the legal tender currency in the country.
President Donald Trump said the "Americans Party" is ridiculous. Capitalists have a strong influence in politics. But right now I don't know the sole candidate of the Party. Politics can make bitcoin to be more adopted by countries if the State Actors fully support the Currency.

A time is coming when we will no longer have to discuss about thing like this on this forum anymore because bitcoin have already gained mainstream adoption and it's absolutely normal for politicians to us it for whatever they are doing like spending bitcoin to run campaigns and so on..

Trump and Musk are two excellent businessmen. I get the feeling that all of Trump's actions as US president are aimed at increasing market volatility. The scandal with Musk resembles some kind of circus performance. It is quite possible that with the help of the volatility of Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies, they are making big money, because they know exactly when there will be bad news and when there will be good news. All that remains is to place orders on the exchanges and the money will pour into their pockets.

Bitcoin us unique and has very little effects from politics so it is well in long term no matter what is done by Trump, Elon Musk or any other politicians and their policies on Bitcoin. Getting disappointed especially on bitcoin due to the trumps promises that turned out another way from the expectations of Bitcoiners is and was a good reason enough  to not want to trust politicians on issues that concerns cryptocurrency. There is mostly some personal interest in what these politicians put out there to get the attention of the people to get them to power only  that most persons are not careful enough to pay attention  to the undertone of all of these things they put out there for the people to believe.

For Elon most of us know that his interest is mostly in DOGECOIN which is where he's got massive stake, he will not be pushing for bitcoin enough because he may not be having as much in Bitcoin and with DOGECOIN he may have some kind of control which he may not be having with Bitcoin, summarily there's still an intention he's got.

I agree with you that politicians are not trustworthy and they do everything for their own benefit. I am not defending Trump nor supporting what he is doing to the world economy but I want to ask, what promises has Trump betrayed or broken to the crypto community? Because as far as I remember, he has delivered on most of his promises regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

What makes people angry and complain about him are economic and political decisions like the tariff war, the war with Iran or the spending bill that increases the US national debt. This is an economic and political issue, and has nothing to do with his promises to the crypto community. So it cannot be said that he betrayed or broke his promise to us. He just betrayed Elon and the American voters who believed he would cut spending, reduce the deficit, no wars under him...


As for Elon, I don't know if he really cares and supports bitcoin, but one thing is that he invested in bitcoin and Tesla still holds a large amount of BTC, so far. He may value Doge more because it gives him more profit, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have rights or doesn't support bitcoin.
