Suppose, as title says — you had infinite amount of money, would you still gamble?

As long as I have a source of income, I will continue to gamble. Regardless of what others may say, to me, gambling is like a video game, something that consistently entertains me during my free time. While I don’t always win, winning and losing are simply natural parts of any game. That’s why I keep gambling, even if I have unlimited money, it doesn’t mean I would stop. Unless I find another form of entertainment that brings me greater comfort and satisfaction, only then would I consider quitting. So, for me, it’s not about the money, it’s about the enjoyment.

Each person has a different amount of money they can afford to lose while gambling And determines the amount of loss you can afford, and they should gamble for entertainment within that amount. The main thing here is to just enjoy the entertainment, and be aware of your limitation, but if you have endless money that you can lose, you should also have the mindset of just enjoying the entertainment, but in this case, since you have endless money, you have no financial limitations, you can continue to gamble as long as you are enjoying the entertainment, and later, when you feel bored, you will generally stop gambling.

So if I want to be objective I will say it's more likely for someone rich to gamble for fun mostly, and on that basis anyone with infinite money can only want to gamble for fun  and not for the money attached to gambling as reward.

Interesting question, because we always feel that we are gambling to win money. But when we have enough money we still gamble which means that money wasn't the only reason for gambling and we just gamble for that adrenaline rush. I believe if I actually had "infinite money", I wouldn't gamble but again that's a theoretical question and the answer might be different if I actually had unlimited money.

I feel exactly the same, it would be kind of a burden to even gamble when you don't care about money. It's like would we gamble with play money? I suppose not because there is no fun when you don't care about the winnings. But how much money is enough money or infinite money? Because even today Elon Musk is hustling hard to earn more lol

I think so, I do enjoy playing free to play casino games with infinite money specifically when winning huge amount due to the animation of games for big win.

Nothing change for me, I’m gambling for fun from playing the games itself. Being in profit is always a nice feeling regardless of my total money.

This reminds me of what my family brother normally tell me, he said that even if it became a president today, that he would never in any way stop playing gambling. Due to the fun and entertainment he normally have with friends. So that is the real truth about it because as a gambler that always gamble fun and entertainment, there is no amount of money that you have can make you stop gambling just like, unless you're not the enjoyment type if not gambling is more fun when the money is there. Because you wouldn't care whether you lose or not, your own is just to have fun with friends and family not else.

Ahaha, yes, first of all I would start spinning my favorite spins to see the animations that are there, and I would turn the sound on at maximum volume and spend every evening like that. When I would have spun all the slots, I would move on to other gambling games. Then I would start making sports bets on crazy odds and events that are unlikely, and after that I would go play poker on high stakes with professionals and poker stars, where I would raise them and cause inconvenience. I think I have a fun plan, all that remains is to find a place where they will give me endless money for this, ahaha.

I feel completely the opposite though. I believe if I had infinite money and I would have no reason to worry about having a gambling budget anymore, then a majority of the emotion and the thrill which gambles gives me would slowly fade away and it may never return to what it used to be.
I would probably move onto other actives which do not have anything to do with risking money but rather helping charities and improving the well being of people in the poorest regions of the world, organize efforts to brings democracy and western values to communities who live in tirany, for example.  I would become a philanthropist, which is very interesting if you think about it, gambling is about personal interests and greed and if money and thrill are not a problem anymore, then the behavior of a person could easily change for good.

I think i willn`t play. I played for profit, when i had to choose between job and gambling - i stopped the game. It was easy choice. If you have infinite money, you can choose any kind of entertainment and i don`t think that gambling will be the most interesting/exciting.

Well that's if you talk in realistically, wealthy people have no time because they're keep working and improve their business, they're still gambling, but much more like to find opportunity or have a purpose to expand their relations.

I am in the fight with myself to not gamble and I must say so far so good, even when in profit and the huge desire to gamble I simply refrain from it. Now I love money and I am interested in it like every person who gambles yet I enjoy gambling the same even when I play in demo mode and even when I am watching the streamers hit those big wins when I want to motivate myself to start a gambling session. Of course the more money one have the better the thrill though I know a few persons, most likely my boss relatives who have a lot of money, they don't feel any thrill in gambling even when they rarely play, they tell me what do you feel when you gamble as we don't feel much. I told them that I feel the thrill and the desire to get more money, different from you I am your worker who love the thrill of money.

Why do you need to bet money to feel competitive? If you have competitive spirit, play online games against other people. You can play anything from chess to counter strike without betting a cent.

If I had infinite money I wouldn't gamble because betting gives me additional thrill, the feeling of having something at stake. That gives me a rush of adrenaline, while winning is a shot of dopamine. You feel accomplished, rewarded, appreciated... It's all brain chemistry!

I think you missed the point too, because you cannot stay idle and not entertain yourself when you have the money to do so. Are you trying to say that wealthy people don't go to the beach, travel on vacation and have fun. It's when I am very rich that I will enjoy myself the more because whatever amount of money that I spend wouldn't affect my wealth. As long as you are alive, having fun is very important for a healthy lifestyle.

Of course, why not. I am gambling for pleasure and not for making profits. I wouldn't be gambling often but once in a week or two. That is your subjectiveness talking for yourself. For you it doesn't make any sense to gamble when there is abundant amounts of money on your banking account, but for others there is something else they can find in gambling, which goes beyond just financial profits. I can think of nostalgia as a powerful motivation to gamble. People have good memories related to gambling, so they continue coming back for more in an attempt to reproduce the feelings and emotions those memories evoke on them.

Drawing a parallel, I have very nostalgic memories regards Bitcoin faucets, and even though they pay little, I would love to claim satoshis from them if they were still available clean and simple like in the old days. I know I can make much more money though another activities, but I still want to do this, because it makes me feel good.

Another example are old games. Today there are superior games in graphics and features, but many people still go for the 90's, 2000's and 2010's ones, because they make them feel so good.
