Agree. I had the same feeling when I first visited the ANN thread. EXch took a long time to gain trust. If I'm not mistaken, the eXch ANN thread dates back to 2014 and only became noticed by the community in 2022 onward, perhaps largely due to associated marketing.

Their priority is to obtain liquidity at this point, so they must have a strategy in mind (I believe).

But is it a good idea to become such a well-known service that it suffers the same fate as eXch?

I'm only sure of one thing: the witch hunts against privacy must end. So similar services must be encouraged.

I've argued before that we can't have good trusted private exchangers:

I think eXch got too much attention when they swapped bybit hack funds.

I dont know if they did that by mistake or not.

I don't think it's possible to stay "small" and at the same time offer one of the best services in your field.

This will undoubtedly be the element that will make such services last longer: being small enough to operate and avoid the interest of criminals looking to move large amounts of currency quickly.

I wasn't aware of the service. It seems interesting. I'll keep an eye on it, although I probably won't use it (I don't use cryptocurrencies other than BTC).  Wink
