-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512

Hey everyone, our old client mentioned that some people are getting messages from fake accounts on SimpleX pretending to be us and offering swaps.

Please be aware, I never add (connect) or message anyone first. Always double check our identity before doing any swaps. If someone reaches out to you first claiming to be us, it’s a scam. Stay safe and don’t fall for it!

Quote
I always provide letters of guarantee during our swaps. You can obtain one when we conduct a swap, and verify its authenticity using our public key.
I will never refuse to give you a letter of guarantee. If I refuses to do so, consider it a red flag and suspect a scam.

Quote
I would never be the first to add you or message you to initiate a swap. Always verify my identity directly onsite before engaging and ask for letter of guarantee.
Beware of impersonators! I don't have a telegram account. I only have SimpleX

Thank you for bringing this important warning to the community's attention.

Indeed, there are many scammers impersonating accounts of people involved in business or offering escrow and similar services. The rule is that you don't add or contact anyone first. This is a good practice. those who truly want to reach you will initiate contact through your official accounts, or forum messages.

When it comes to financial transactions, every member must exercise caution and verify the letter of guarantee, just as the OP advised.

I have successfully verified your signed message and certified your key.

Yes, there are a lot of impersonators here, especially if you seem to be involved in different trade deals and business around the forum.

This is more of a reputations board topic than a scam accusation. Please move it to that board @Trêvoid

Yes, your signed message was encrypted using your public key ending with 8E63 A6E0 D659 B2CC.
Take a look at the attached image, which shows that "The signature is valid and the certificate's validity is fully trusted."

That’s the reason I always make sure to keep our clients updated whenever something important comes to my attention.
And that’s exactly how it should always be, to prioritize the safety of your clients so that they are not exposed any kind of fraud, and to keep them informed of any updates so they stay aware. As an escrow service provider, I also make sure to do the same whenever I notice anything suspicious or something that could potentially harm one of my clients. This is our duty at all times.

This one,

Your message,
If you have the Kleopatra program installed on your Windows system, you can easily decrypt (Decrypt/Verify) my message using the Notepad feature within the program.

And here is the official website to download the program: https://gpg4win.org/

I have also attached an image of my encrypted message.

I use my private key to sign the message to you , not your public key, as it has nothing to do with this process..

You can use my public key to verify the validity of the signature and I can use your public key to encrypt a message for you, and you only by using your private key can decrypt it.

If you want, you can send me private messages to test, and I will reply to you with other messages.

Thank you for bringing it to this place for general information. And the best way to know if the best is from you in a foe the receiver to come here and ask you if you send them message or PM you to clarify the message and foe that you should be active in the forum to reply users.
With this there will be no scamming attempt from the imposters.

Welcome!  DiMarxist

We already have methods to prevent impersonators, but I feel it’s important to share this information publicly because some users don’t use Bitcointalk and cannot send me private messages.

Your service is officially only a month or two old, if I remember correctly, at least since when you officially started presenting it here. It's really incredible to me that scammers have already recognised the opportunity and are trying to deceive users by impersonating you.

Your service is officially only a month or two old, if I remember correctly, at least since when you officially started presenting it here. It's really incredible to me that scammers have already recognised the opportunity and are trying to deceive users by impersonating you.

Our service has been live for over two months, yet we've already built a strong user base.

Thanks, but I didn’t quite understand the last point. It feels like your sentence was incomplete. Could you please explain it fully?
