I tried to tag him on X. Maybe I am wondering if any of the OG have a way to contact him in other ways, so that he can confirm he is back. It would be extremely interesting. Not that he needs to post anything, just to confirm the profile is legit.
How can you ensure what is the Laszlo real X profile? i think this is totally impossible to ping Laszlo via X tagging. Educated guess. I tried the less scammy address available on X. But it is only part of the story. I will keep you updated if I get any feedback (low probability). It won't be easy to find the right Laszlo profile on X, probably many users have used his nickname and it's easy to catch someone impersonating him. Anyway the idea is good, maybe you can get help from chatgpt to find a probable active profile of his

As per checking he made an update with his credentials but upon checking is he didn't make any comment created a new thread seems he just tried to recover his account only. Well still a legend is a legend we don't have the pizza party if we don't have this person. Hope he will share something to us soon.

Well he did something more than reactivating his account. He kept coming back, logging in the forum and probably lurking somewhere. I will try sending home some merit, maybe he will notice something strange!

I really wonder why he disappeared in 2014. He is a legend, he made a revolutionary transaction and it would be a honor for us to have a communication with him. If I were into his shoes, I would sometimes come here and post, just for the sake of nostalgia, I would at least visit Bitcointalk and post here in the last 10 years but anyways, I respect his decisions. I hope he is doing very well in life.
Slightly off-topic but seleme, who gifted 1 Bitcoin to laszlo, defaulted a 650 USD worth of Bitcoin. Very strange accident.

For the community and for the forum that would be an incredible feat: the living demonstration this place is home for real bitcoiners. There is a possibility.

I was also thinking, it would mark another historic spot in the community a d probably lead to to new comers rushing in to confirm his presence here, if imit goes beyond the Bitcointalk maybe on X as you tried to contact him there. Then Laszlo would be a center of attraction for the media and the bitcoin community at large, probably will even get an invite on a podcast or TV.

Lazlo has family (as far as I've seen) and if I were him, I'd not resurface here after all the buzz. Imagine how much fuzz it would create, how many accounts would likely start to bug him and whatnot else. We're here at already four pages of speculation after some updates of his profile...
It's not going to get calmer, if he posts something. Sure, it's cool if he comes back, but why would he after all those years?

I'm a bit skeptical whether he's really Laszlo or if his account might have been hacked He has recovered his account and is active on the forum again and again but why is he not posting anything? Could it be that the account has been hacked, and the hacker understands that if he posts anything here, then the quality of his posts will show that he is not Laszlo. Or he is the real Laszlo?

Lol yes. A lot of fraks stalking him on the forum. I also like the idea of the buyer of the account, spending a fortune on the right to access it, now ready with the perfect draft for a scam, that is now realising he has no hope to be considered the true laszlo.

Too many merits and little give positive feedbacks are enough but now if he will try to do anything else surely It's going to hurt this account badly just because of this leaving and enjoying is much better for account holder or if he is real laszalo.

Laszlo is not dead yet, he is still alive. Or am I wrong? If he is still alive, he can just feel like to login again and see what is going on this forum.
The account posted last in 2014. This is not yet something we need to be worried about until he starts posting something that can be harmful to any member of this forum. His account has not changed hands.
Also Laszlo did not posted using another account that his account has been hacked.
Yes this news is being see everywhere and separate threads have also been create in his name and if it is see what did he come to do or did he see this thing by mistake or does anyone know about it. If he had talk about something we would have known about it but he could not say anything in any way which has become an important and difficult question for many people as to why it suddenly came online after 11 year and what is its purpose. Either he came as is then it does not matter if he has come to see Bitcoin information or to identify something in some way then what will it be?

Well Id hope that the real Laszlo come back again here it would be good to see him share some thoughts on the forum once again. Anyway, once he posted we will know if his the real one, by his kind of words or sentences pattern. But what if his really go back? That means he is likely a famous guy now in here. Everybody wanted to interact for that reason.

His Bitcoin wallet was last active in 6 Nov 2018 and he done a transaction at that day and since then he has stopped using his Bitcoin wallet. The only way to verify that he is back is if he clears up the matter by posting on this forum. Although I already believe he is back here. He activated his account himself.
He is back is his return and he does not need to clear up anything by posting anything. There is no request like this on any forum members for their returns after a long time of inactive. I hope that if I am inactive for some years, and when I am back here for reading or to find some of my memory, I won't be enforced to post anything. The community can feel curious about his return but have no rights to force him posting anything.

If laszio is truely back we will know and he will post when he feels like posting in the forum and not by force. And if it is someone who woke up his account we will also know, because one person can't outsmart everybody in this forum claiming to be laszio why his not the person will be cut. And I also believe that since the day this thread was open some members have already reached out to him to confirm if his the one who woke up his account or not. So less be cool and calm if the legend is back he will post one day.

He's not the only one who left the forum when it comes to "legends", there are very few members from that time active today. If you're looking for a reason why it's like that, I don't think you'll find it - because since I've been on the forum since 2015, dozens of somewhat prominent members have left the forum and never returned.

Another forum user has relation to this famous Bitcoin pizza event is BitcoinFX and the user was still very active back to January 2023. He mined a first Bitcoin block on February 2010. Verifying my (old) zero balance wallet address for blockchain research etc.,His account. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=30I am unsure why Bitcoin FX completely disappeared in the last two and a half years.

I really understand why they left Bitcointalk. When I registered here, 4 years ago, I was more young and I was thinking differently. Now things have changed and I have more responsibilities and different priorities but in the near future, I'll still be on this forum because I enjoy being here a lot but in the next 10 years, I'm sure that I won't be here, there is no way of it but this doesn't mean that I'll completely abandon this forum. Once in a while, I'll login here, check some threads, publish some posts, reply to some users. What I don't understand is, why do some of them completely disappear like they have never been part of Bitcointalk and this website has never existed.

If truly Laszlo was the one that recovered his account himself, he should have a motive for doing so and there is no way that he will make posts on this forum that some users won't bug him with unnecessary questions. Laszlo is a legend, yes we know that but should his return to the forum cause a buzz? hell NO. His profile woke up on 28th of June and till now he hasn't made a single post so let him be.
However, i scanned though one of Laszlo wallet address that he posted in 2010 and saw that the account received about 222 BTC from 09 Apr 2010 23:29:41 UTC to 18 Apr 2010 08:00:26 UTC. I just began to imagine the worth of 222 bitcoins currently My Bitcoin address is 1XPTgDRhN8RFnzniWCddobD9iKZatrvH4

That's something only they could tell the truth about - but my guess is that they no longer saw the point in discussing BTC on the forum, or the matter is much deeper and perhaps it's some conflict between them that resulted in everyone going their own way. What I concluded from reading the early posts on the forum and some other sources is that not everyone was friendly towards each other, just as they weren't even towards Satoshi, whom individuals even began to accuse of making too many decisions independently.
