Why? Or basically how? There is no love lost between bitcoin and alts don't get me wrong, but they can coexist together and that doesn't mean people have to pick one. We just need to realize how this could be something we can handle for the long term.

What we are facing right now is a trouble that would not be easy to handle for the long term, and if we can handle how this works, then we could easily handle what situation we can face between these two. Bitcoin will keep on coexisting with other alts, some will grow suddenly and go away, some will stay near like ETH, but it is not going to matter to each other. We need to learn to live with both of these living together without having any issues. What we are seeing here is normal and not a big deal at all.

Many have said and I will say the same thing, Bitcoin never kills other crypto. After Memecoin and Shitcoin entered the market, the demand gradually decreased, due to which its price became worthless. So it's wise to stay away from Memecoin or Shitcoins. However, the most trusted and popular currency in the crypto market is Bitcoin and has been in the market for a long time. The price of Bitcoin is increasing with time, so there is no possibility of Bitcoin becoming worthless in the future and the price will gradually increase.

Memecoin, shitcoins die naturally by themselves and Bitcoin does not engage in deaths of shitcoins, never engage in any way. It's sometimes hilarious to see many shitcoins that call themselves as Bitcoin killers, self-killed and died nearly quickly after their launches. Variety is the spice of life, and Bitcoin is king of cryptocurrency already but will not totally kill all other crypto projects but some which do not have real world value. I believe that Bitcoin will definitely continue its dominance over other cryptocurrencies, but will co-exist with some cryptocurrency that has a utility case, However I do think there's definitely going to be a time when we may have just few crypto projects left in the futurel especially those that has problem solving and functional in the industry.

yes most of them will, people invest in the safest narrative, and bitcoin has the strongest fundamentals most coins are managed by someone not completely decentralized so i think big ones like ETH SOL will survive but others no.

Those who are basically conscious investors and have a good knowledge about crypto, they want to invest in ETH- BNB -SOL- LTC - XRP after Bitcoin, they never want to invest in new coins or shit coins. Small explanation to this one is that, BTC isn’t the real killer of this new coin, every coin that has been created has potential of being one of the best crypto. The problem here is that these small coins are just low liquidity, if BTC can survive a massive dip then a recently created token with small liquidity and no plans in the future can’t stay in the market. They are just fillers or additional volume to the whole market and that makes the whole blockchain active and could produce massive profits. Actually, people used to think that this kind of question was absurd before, but now this issue is becoming a bit relevant because after a certain cycle, the bull season of bitcoin is happening but the altcoin season is not being seen in the market.

This seems to indicate that people's confidence in alternative coins investment has decreased a bit, and as a result of which the attraction of investors is currently only surrounding bitcoin. I am not saying that alternative coins will be dead, but the dominance of bitcoin in the market will increase even more so that most people will lose the desire to invest in altcoins.

Bitcoin doesn't need to kill other cryptocurrency because they're killing eachother with their greed. The projects are greedy and Instead of using the money they have made from token sales to build up the project, they divert the funds and invest it into area that aren't important to the growth of the project. They're only interested in investing in areas that'll make the project more popular and they're doing this because they want to get more popularity to increase the profits they'll be making when they keep selling the tokens of the project. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency can exist together without any killing the other but Bitcoin has more longevity.

The reason other crypto could exist alongside Bitcoin was because in the past Bitcoin didn't really have defi, it was a crypto used only for payment transactions. But now with ordinals, runes and other stuff Bitcoin defi is a thing. I think this will result in the defi from others chains coming home to Bitcoin which will make a lot of other chains obsolete. If you knew all that, then you shouldn't for a second had thought Bitcoin could kill other tokens/coins. Those others would die off for that singular reason that they don't have any usecase. I've been in this space long enough to realize that once the usefulness of a project is exhausted, the project dies off. I've participated in IDOs and have seen how launchpad tokens were in hot demand while the launchpad "made waves" – that's, when it was the rave of the moment. If I don't remember any, I know of BSCpad which was the front token of the Bluezilla launchpad project. Where is BZ today? Where is BSCpad today. So, it's not about Bitcoin trying to sniff life out of altcoins but of the fact that most altcoins aren't worth it. Naturally, people will invest in what they perceive to be viable. That's what happens with altcoins and Bitcoin.

Have you checked the altcoin market and bitcoin dominance lately? Bitcoin dominance has dropped from 65% to 60% and will soon continue to drop to 50% or even 40%. Along with that, the altcoin market is showing signs of strong growth led by ETH as ETF cash flows have been consistently higher than bitcoin in recent days.

I am pretty confident and betting that once ETH breaks ATH it will trigger altcoin season and history will repeat itself again.


Crypto is just a speculative market, and its performance depends more on manipulation than supply and demand. Altcoin season hasn't arrived yet simply because it's not the right time. Like every cycle before it, altcoin season only comes when there are not many people who believe in it anymore, it only appears when most people have sold their altcoin bags and believe that bitcoin is the only coin will go up in price.

If you count coins or tokens at present, there are thousands of Altcoins in the market and their prices are not increasing. The big holders are definitely scared to see the money of the holders stuck and thousands of memecoins being destroyed from the market. And if you consider stability or survival, then Bitcoin is definitely the best. In all aspects, Bitcoin is different, the difference in price, the difference in survival, the difference in investors, considering different views, Bitcoin is the best as an investment.
So Bitcoin has the highest number of holders, and due to its long-term survival, it has gained a wide reputation in the market. And only Bitcoin plays the highest role in being economically successful.

You are also correct, but if we look at most of the projects out there and their pattern, you will notice that what they usually talk about is making something better. Where they think a particular network is not doing fine, they offer a better service, like in terms of fees, fastness, and many others. This is one of the reasons why we have so many smart chains and layer 2 projects because they want to make things better.
