They died because of fundamentals or even unclear projects why should it be linked as if bitcoin killed them because I think this condition although munkgkin some can be considered reasonable when altcoins follow in the footsteps of bitcoin but saying bitcoin killed altcoins I don't think it has any connection.
Because after all, altcoins or even shitcoins that die depend on their development, especially now that it is very easy to create coins and their creation varies, some are even for mass fraud or maybe hype so they will not be able to maintain this condition for the long term because they realize that the projects they create are only temporary.

But even so they will clearly try to follow in the footsteps of bitcoin, especially in terms of price where bitcoin increases in terms of value, they will also expect the same thing but on the other hand they also will not deny if this is only temporary for them in contrast to bitcoin which is indeed functioning for the long term.

Definitely, any crypto without fundamentals would eventually die off after a period of time. It only takes a coin with substantial backing to dwell in the midst of Bitcoin's dominance. The likes of crypto emerged from airdrop scheme often tend to dip after most airdropped tokens are sold immediately after launch, therefore reducing the value drastically and might not really experience a green in a long while.

Just look at the market difference. Bitcoin has been in the market for a long time. It is not likely to disappear in any way. Alot of coins on the crypto space are struggling to survive and most of them are just growing gradually and also following Bitcoin at the back. However Bitcoin is the surest coin anyone would want to invest into Bitcoin it's valuable and it's future is also unimaginable.

I do not want Bitcoin to kill other cryptocurrencies, but I want them to coexist and cover each other's weaknesses. This industry has evolved so much; there may be shortcomings in Bitcoin, and then there are advantages in other coins, which is natural because this industry is always evolving and improving. So, the new coins will innovate better than the first coins created. The condition of dead altcoins is a common issue. In the current industry, people are always just working for money, and once that is done, it is not developed well. But Bitcoin always has a special value that cannot be explained.

I'm not sure if this should be a question because I already saw it happening, Bitcoin has proved it that it can exist without the interference of other coins, it can exist without any words of altcoins and it can work perfectly without the hopium of altcoins, and it can exist with any team. There is nothing Bitcoin hasn't face in the past but look at the same people that were hating the digital currency all want to have Bitcoin in their portfolio because it's the best asset you should have.

Bitcoin has been pumping since beginning of the year, as it's right now it has had a return of 90+% yearly growth meanwhile the ethereum that always say they are king of altcoins and all of that has not been able to push pass it's previous all time high not even consider to have a good yearly growth, it dumps faster than anything you can think and this keep pissing alot of people that have been ethereum maxis since they one. If they have hold Bitcoin instead of Bitcoin, they would have made good returns on their investment.

Going by your title, it would have made some sense of bitcoin was battling in it's existence with other coins  but that's not what is happening. Rather bitcoin is the vanguard, most powerful cryptocurrency that doesn't depend on the movement in price of another crypto before it price moves, unlike how every altcoins are influenced by bitcoin price movement.

Digging deep from inside out, I think it's rather other coins that are trying to bring down bitcoin so they can dominate the market as bitcoin has, but that just not happening.

It's not all altcoins that survive, and durability of altcoins to survive is based on the furtherance of the project, and that's why it's not encouraging for someone to invest in meme coins without done a proper research or investigation

People that experienced lose in altcoins investments most, are people for doesn't calm down to make a research before investments, for me all altcoins is not encouraging to invest for long time, because the possibility of the coin to crash after investing is 80% guaranteed, when investing in altcoins ensures you invest in short period and invest what you can afford to lose, and this should happen when you know you have not conduct any research before investing.

Many tokens have come and gone in the crypto currency market, let me be honest with what I actually think, I think the number of dead tokens, that is, tokens that have come and gone are far more higher than the ones that are currently existing..

And bitcoin isn't the one killing this tokens if I am to put this the way you put it in the topic of this thread, the tokens are the ones killing their selves respectively speaking, due their weak foundation and fundamentals, or I would rather say the management of the tokens/project.

And one thing we all must be aware of is the fact that most devs of most Altcoin projects design the project to fail after some time because they do not have the capacity and neither the interest to run a long term project, they just want to make money in the short term and vanish, this is why we all must be very careful of the type of Altcoins we are putting money on, if and when you are not so sure about the longevity of that project, better to invest in bitcoin that has a good track record already.

I completely agree. Bitcoin didn't kill altcoins or other cryptocurrencies. Instead, it was the altcoins themselves that fell, unable to surpass what Bitcoin achieved. Whether in the system they use, or in fundamentals or other uses. And to date, it's still proven that Bitcoin is truly decentralized. While some altcoins have attempted to emulate Bitcoin's decentralized system, they still haven't been able to match it.

However, many altcoins have survived because they embraced different ideas with unique characteristics. And they were serious projects whose developers weren't focused solely on short-term profits but rather on long-term usability and benefits for the community, like Ethereum and others. So, yes, many altcoins didn't die because of Bitcoin. They simply lost and disappeared because they failed to build something new that the community needed. Simply creating the same thing and building community hype only lasts for a short time. After that, the hype ends, and the coin begins to slowly die.

That's certainly true, altcoin narrative shifts every cycle and there's always formerly top altcoins that become abandoned and unused eventually have zero trading volume as well as close to zero on chain transactions and there's new altcoin that's hyped up.

BTC has been here for quite sometime and from the dominance alone it seems BTC just occasionally dominate the market then there's time for altcoin rotation, for the people who seek more profit and for the most part it has nothing to do with all those dead altcoins.

Altcoins should be more concerned about other altcoin taking over their position.

I do not want Bitcoin to kill other cryptocurrencies, but I want them to coexist and cover each other's weaknesses. This industry has evolved so much; there may be shortcomings in Bitcoin, and then there are advantages in other coins, which is natural because this industry is always evolving and improving. This is the mindset of a true crypto investor and the market needs more people like you for the crypto industry to grow and become popular globally. These shitcoins are the reason why most people view the crypto industry as a scam. Most of them are pump-and-dump schemes that make developers rich and investors poor. Some developers claim that their coin will unseat Bitcoin and become number one, but many of them don't last long. It is not Bitcoin that is killing these altcoins; rather, they were designed to fail.  Bitcoin was not designed to make people rich but to enhance privacy and as an alternative to fiat. But the developers of these shitcoins always promote them as a get-rich-quick project.

That is what many people think and stop investing on bitcoin because they think all coins are the same. And continue arguing about bitcoin that is scam. Shicoin can never overtake bitcoin because is the best coin that can always make you happy for long time when you invest on it.
