No that’s not true. Gambling has many positive sides.

Smoking and drinking alcohol are also harmful but as long as you don’t overdo them, they won’t destroy you.

Speaking of luck, I've never seen any news from my country saying that someone rich won the lottery. I always see poor people, even in other countries, I've seen that poor or middle-class people are the ones who are lucky enough to win the lottery. Yea of course, I used the word "discipline" because they could control their gambling activities and quit gambling after a big win. Indiscipline gamblers will not be able to invest the money but rather, they will want to continue gambling and lose it all without thinking twice since they will have the mentality of winning a bigger amount again. Gambling is not bad, but our habits are bad. We blame gambling for our own mistakes. If we use gambling for entertainment instead of making money, it will be perfect for us, but if we use it to make money, then gambling will be bad for us because when we use gambling as a way to make money, we become addicted to gambling with great greed. But if we use gambling as entertainment, we will have a lot of fun and will be able to gamble for a long time, we will not have any problems, rather we will be more entertained, we will be able to spend a pleasant moment in our free time.
