I can’t believe this one sold for $3,500. I feel like I missed a steal here. I didn’t think it was real. It would have made for quite the auction in these parts I think. Maybe even some decent advertising for our little corner of the woods.

Mail call! With these four legendary signatures confirmed I am but 1 signed card away from completing my mission to collect all autographed big head cards in the 1991 Score All Star set. I’ve already paid for a private signing for the last one (Ken Griffey Jr), so it is a matter of time before I have that as well. What a chase it has been… In another 6 months or so I’ll have all 20 authenticated by PSA and nicely displayed. My inner child could not be happier.

I only remember ever being interested in trading cards in the past for a brief amount of time
I think the series were Match Cards and I definitely remember the Top Trumps series - but they
were for all sorts of areas, not just sport, only thing was I didnt know anyone else who was interested
at the time.

A childhood dream realized (almost). It will be one of my favorite display pieces next to my signed Mike Tyson’s Punch Out picture and my autographed Charlie Sheen - Ricky Vaughn jersey.

I really wanted to collect autographed cards from the starters of the 1992 Dream Team, but I saw the Michael Jordan one was over $50,000 so maybe I will call it quits on the card collecting after this and go back to collecting Bitcoin themed Pez dispensers and Chia Pets.

I collected baseball cards as a kid probably from 1990-1992. The junk wax era that was mostly kids being taken advantage of, but it taught me a lesson in scarcity that would serve me well later in life.

Ahhhh Collecting.....I collected sports autographs in the 90's. I grew up in South Jersey and would go watch the Flyers hockey team practice. I once found a Rod Brind Amour broken stick that was thrown in the trash on the side of the building. I picked it up and eventually had it signed by 5 different teams back in the early to mid 90's...When hockey teams would come into town to play the Flyers, they would sometimes practice at an ice rink not to far from my house. Would go watch...Had the hockey stick signed by the Flyers, Islanders, Sabres, Habs, Nordiques **Forsberg's rookie year, Sakic, Mogilny, Owen Nolan, Hasek, Lindros......Man hockey was so awesome back then....

Awesome times.....Never did get Habs Claude Lemieux autograph even after I told him he was the only one to not have signed....Politely told me to get lost  

Eventually got married had 2 kids and sold all my sports memorabilia...I guess life happened...

This makes me happy. I’m so close to completing this collection. 19/20 obtained. Just need to find 1 more autographed card and get another batch back from PSA. A childhood dream mere months away from being realized.

How about this score? I wanted to collect the Dream Team starting 5 autographed hoops cards, but the Michael Jordan is out of my price range. I’ll have to settle for this little piece of history.
