Freewallet refuse to give me back my 63K USDT although KYC passed

Hi ,

I am here to report my experience with freewallet.org (Ticket #548505) they held more than 63K USDT of my money and refused to give it back to me since 18th January 2025, although I passed KYC verification in 3rd March 2025, and they formally informed me of that, 6 months has passed since they deactivate my account and every time I provide what they request, they either ignored it or come up with a new demands.

Out of curiosity, Why do you use such a wallet to keep your USDT, yet we do have over a dozen noncustodial wallets lying around?

thanks for your reply, frankly I'm wasn't an active crypto user and I used their wallet many times before sending and recieving small amounts with no trouble, I think that was a trap for users like me to trust them

How about the casino you are advertising that stolen my 400$ ? Is that a good and reputable casino? check how many scam topics there are regarding betpanda stealing people’s legit money…

Sadly, you are not the only one experiencing issues with Freewallet.org. A lot of scam accusations against them have been posted over the years.

Anyway, I saw this being shared on one of the scam accusation threads that has been posted against Freewallet.org "Petition to investigate Freewallet org scam". Perhaps you can add your signature there to support the petition.

Your story is no different from the others. I could not part with that $63,000 USDT without doing proper research, even though I was already using the platform.
I hate to say this, but you have zero chance of recovering the amount. There were bigger amounts than yours.
I recommend this thread and collaborate with the guy to take down the platform, if you are interested to pursue your case

Out of everything, I am just curious: why have you stored such a big amount with Freewallet? Were there any extra facilities for storing your funds there? I don't want to hurt you, but I'm asking out of curiosity since the amount of $63K is big for me. I won't trust any exchange or web wallet with such an amount. I have learnt a lesson from Binance about storing funds in custodial wallets. The slogan not your key, not your coins, and this is the example. Hope others will take a lesson from you.

Unfortunately no one could help you. Because they don't care about their forum reputation, there are so many red tags on their official account, including flags. You can create sounds on their social media. Comment on their public post and make a post about their scam. So more people will see that, and they might notice your issues. Still, I don't expect a resolution, but you can try.

unless you can make a post about this go viral on twitter or reddit exposing them for selectively scamming you (bad publicity isn't good for their scam business), your chances of getting your money back are close to zero.
your next best option is to lawyer up and have a lawyer communicate on your behalf, if they see you mean business, they might give your money back just to make you go away.

thanks for your reply, yes it is my fault, I confess that I did not do my research before depositing this large amount, but as I said I used to send & recieve a small amounts (couple of hundreds of dollars) before with no problem and I was surprised by the matter when I checked later

I did that because I used to trust them, big mistake I know, and I am still paying its price for the last six months from my health and mental state. something I don't wish anyone would face.

and yes, unfortunately, it seems like no one cares about them, and that's what made them still steal people's money until this day.

Stick to your thread and get your issue sorted out like others have been in the past. If you're genuine and innocent, the result will come out positive and alright, but if you want to go down a troll's footpath (whom I ignored a long time ago). Good luck.

I hate to say this, but you have zero chance of getting it. All I can say is to gather all your hard evidence, contact those who have been scammed, form a group to strengthen your case, present your case, and bring it to the attention of higher authorities.

I'll take my chances and I will never surrender and accept that they will get away with this, and I will take your advice of course.

If I am not wrong, I have seen dozens of scam accusations against the,m and all of them are basically similar. The users used their service before to transfer a small amount of crypto. As soon as they receive some big amount of funds, Freewallet freezes their account and ask for KYC and etc, etc. A lot of people even filed lawsuits against the,m and none of them came with an update.

So, I think either they did not received their funds, or they do not have any good news for the community so they didn't came back to inform us. If you file a lawsuit against them, make sure to update us here. We want to know the update of your case so it can help others as well.

You're correct, I've read hundreds of complaints and cases, few of them could actually restored their funds but a fewer announced this, I intend to keep my case updated to all future users and victims

It is unfortunate that you used a wallet that has had a lot of complaints about it. It is not new that they scam their customers' funds under various pretexts. Now if you contact them they will give you new excuses every day instead of providing any kind of solution. Do they now give you any reply or let you know if there is any progress on your complaint?

I can email them and see if they reply. I don't really expect much from them. But in the end, everyone has to keep trying.
