It must be due to religion. In Muslim countries, gambling is illegal and although there are still people gambling, it isn't as vulgar as right in a public place. Same on countries where governments are prohibiting gambling, its effective in making people afraid to gamble and they are not going to be addicted to it.

This is not entirely true, if we are referencing the statistics on the number people who actually gamble and we are measuring this in respect of the rich and poor, then I'll be quick to point out to you that a higher number of the poor people gamble because they see it as a means of survival. I think you're correct here because the OP statement above can't be entirely true looking at it from my own perspective. I'm not so sure about your complete evaluation but I can tell you for a fact that people gamble a lot because of money and the love for money is coming from been idle and lack of work. There are many gamblers in some good that don't have anything about their life, they don't know anything other than just gamble and that's all, you see t them do everything just to gamble, you never see them engage in any other things but just gamble and sleep in the night.

One quick puzzle I find hard to solve is the way they don't quit gambling, I saw one video from street gambling interview on TikTok yesterday, a guy was interview about his gambling lifestyle and he says since he has been gambling in 2020, he has never won big amount of money and he has lost alot of momey, sometimes he even go hungry without eating and he will used the amount to gamble. People were laughing and making jokes but they don't know how serious that boy must have gone through with addiction. I feel like I've read that gambling is the result of either having too much money, or not enough opportunity.  Rich men gambling because risking large amounts of money is exciting to them.  Poor people gamble because they see it as the only chance they have at living a life of riches.  In countries where you have no hope of getting a high paying job or ever owning a nice home/vehicle, you might feel like it is worth risking what little you have at the possibility of living a better life.  I understand it, but typically this is how they're taken advantage of.

I believe that Asian countries are exposed too much on gambling and some of it are part of the culture. Thanks for this knowledge, I read through the information source which you added on the topic and what I understand more to be the reason is players protect which some country has, while others country doesn't. It really feels assuring to gamble knowing that if anything goes wrong or you feel you were treated unfairly by the casino, you can report to the right authority, in my country, I don't think we have such strong system of consumer protection when it comes to gambling. Another thing is the disposable income that was talked about, some people are living in a country where if they spend more than $1000 on gambling within a year, they have spent more than 60% of their total income, that's a fact, such person after making the analysis, would not want to gambling.
