Despite registering only one point in their last 2 premier league fixtures, they still remain in the premier league and are very close to winning another trophy this season, not a bad season for them though. Last season Palace finished 12th position in the premier league and won two trophies, this season, they are currently 13 in the table and are so close to winning another one. It is becoming a habit for them "stay in the premier league and win a trophy as well". If Crystal palace are to win the Conference league, then I think they would be said to have had a successful season than Liverpool, Tottenham and some other teams in the top 10. Crystal palace will surely make it to finals and win the Conference league, because I don't see any team stopping them in that category.

It was certainly a shocking goal by Crystal Palace, as it must have taken him only a quarter of a minute to goal, and this goal was sufficient to make him understand that the enemy was relaxed in the opening of the game. It was an experience that sheer focus at the first blast of the whistle is the driving power of overpowering matches in a highly competitive European game. And indeed, Palace possesses something out of the ordinary in being able to retain a seat in the league, and be yet able to contend to secure precious trophies. Just watch till the end of their fight in order not to miss this historical event.

In my opinion, that surprise goal was enough to change the course of the entire match. I'm not surprised with this win in the slightest way. As much as i wanted Arda Turan to win this game, Crystal Palace showed why they're miles ahead of them. It does gladdens me to see Premier League sides thriving.

I'd probably say Rayo Valecano. They would knock out league one side Strasbourg out of this competition. One thing with Premier League sides is going through a tough patch in the Premier League Competition but also show up well enough when they play in big European competitions. That said, I will still be rooting for Crystal Palace to win an European trophy for the first time. The same goes for Sarr, who has 8 goals in the competition. One more goal and he will be the highest goal scoring player in the Conference League competition.

Palace definitely did great, surely it's just the first game and there is still some time so we have no idea if they will get the win or can go to finals, but so far it looks like they won big enough to make the second game easier.

Shaktar has done great too, not to knock off anything from Palace because they played great, but Shaktar is a team that is traveling 15 hours by train back to their home, and then 15 hours back to stadium, or if not "home" game which they have zero home games because there are no games in Ukraine at all, we are talking about 15 hour train and then plane to wherever. This type of season, where their home is literally bombed to hell, and where they are from is literally under Russian occupation, I would say that it's clear we are seeing a team of resilience, they are doing a wonderful job.

Crystal Palace put in a strong performance, and this victory was quite surprising. The Ukrainian Premier League top team playing at home lost to the 13th-placed club in EPL. This demonstrates that a team's strong performance in their domestic league doesn't guarantee victory in the Conference League.

In the first leg Crystal Palace put in a strong performance and secured a 3-1 victory at Shakhtar Donetsk. Their victory was largely due to Ismaila quickest goal boosting the team's confidence. Daichi and Jorge also scored in the second half. Ismaila quick goal scored at 25 seconds, set a new record in Conference League history as the fastest goal scored in a match.

Crystal Palace certainly has a great chance in the second leg as Shakhtar will be hard pressed to overtake their aggregate score in the first leg. This is their chance to advance to the final. If Crystal Palace reaches the final, I'm sure it will make them even more motivated to win the title, because winning the Conference League will allow them to qualify for the Europa League next season.

Crystal Palace has no excuse to not play well and win. They were clearly the better team and they really deserve to win I won't lie. It's a good thing that they were able to win with such goal difference in an away match, that means they have little to do at home and even at that I don't see them losing at home now that they have won away from home, it shows that they are way ahead of their opponent.
They are the best in the competition, no better team to win the competition than them.

If Crystal wins the Conference league and Nottingham forest or Aston Villa win the Europa the. Arsenal end up winning the champions league that will mean that English team's dominated Europe this season. It's not impossible though.

Initially, Shakhtar thought the could cope with Palace because they were able to clap back the first goal but later, I don't know what happened. Palace became too strong for them which led to the banging of two goals to make it 3-1. That was when Shakhtar became humbled and accepted defeat wholeheartedly. Crystal Palace deserves the victory.

The chances of Rayo Vallecano winning the first leg were conceivable, but their chances of winning the second leg on French soil are very low. If they could have made a big difference in the first leg, then it would have been easy to maintain that lead and qualify for the final, now it is somewhat impossible. Strasbourg will definitely be the favorite in the second leg, how they will perform in the team is also a consideration.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace has almost guaranteed a win in the first leg, their chance of winning the second leg at home is 99%. Maybe we are about to see a Crystal Palace vs. Strasbourg final match. It is too early to say what will happen in the final.

On May 17, 2025, Crystal Palace won the FA Cup last season, and they are potentially going to win the Conference League on paper. Im so proud as an English football fan that EPL teams are competing at all four fronts. Arsenal in the UCL final, Nottingham Forest or Aston Villa possibly going to the FA Cup final, and Crystal Palace closer to winning the Conference League.
