You really have to put it into context and it can vary between different games. To give you an example, being on a winning streak in poker cash games can actually make your winning margin increase for the whole session. If you are able to double or triple your table balance compared to the max buy-in for the table, it makes you a formidable looking opponent. Even if you only got their through sheer luck, it gives you a bit more power to bully opponents because they think you must have skills to accumulate funds at the table like that. They may believe your bluffs more than other players or simply back down as your bankroll looks imposing. As long as you don't go on tilt or feel like you are back sliding, it is actually an optimum position you should play from for as long as you can.

When you are gambling and you start having winnings consecutively, i don't think you should take a temporary break because it may be a time that your luck is shining and your predictions are working perfectly. Unless you start experiencing losses that's when you can take a temporary break. In gambling, there are lucky days and there are also days that you will become unlucky. The only advise i will give is that when you are on a winning streak (lucky days) you should increase your stake amount a bit then if you start losing you can reduce your stakes but let it be that any money you are spending after a win should still be within that limit and not to extend it with the money you have in your casino account.

Enjoying and knowing when to stop is not normal for most gamblers. And that's because we aim for higher profits and we don't stop until we're not even near to it.

Mate, is it that you're afraid that you may lose while trying again? If yes, I want you to understand that losing is inevitable in gambling even  though you decide to take a break now based on what you feel, when you resume later, you may still lose so you should understand that first,if you want temporal go on break on the that you are noticing that you are going out of control in regards to your gambling activities then it is a wise decision for you to go on the temporal just as you said or if your recent winings are making you to gamble more then such precautionary measure as you just noted it is very good but if you see yourself a a responsible gambler, I don't see any reason for the break unless you have some important things to attend to this period that'll be unstable too but aside all this things I mentioned, once you're in control, just do your thing, I don't think there's anything wrong.

I don't see anything wrong about it. If you need to take a break since you get stressed with the losses you get or other thing things that bother you then do it. Much better to have a peace of mind rather than pushing your self to gamble for more.

If you can able to decide to rest for a while and don't get a problem doing these things then be glad since that means you are not addicted yet.

We should never get too excited or overly optimistic about winning or losing in gambling. Whenever you have multiple wins, you should take a break and enjoy the money or use it for entertainment. Even after a loss, you should take a break and start again with a new plan. If you are gambling only for entertainment, then winning or losing is not a big deal for you. Don't allow greed lure you to continue gambling when your intention is to stop playing. How did you know that if you gamble again, you will continue to win your bet. This is the reason why one needs to be satisfied with his little profits and cash it out before you lose everything.

It is very good to temporarily break in gambling, because it lightens some pressure physically. Because from my personal experience I can say that it can be a very effective strategy to win.
