The rate of cancer, kidney and other killer diseases are on the increase, most of them are caused by what we consume into our bodies. During the times of our forefathers when they only ate natural foods they were very healthy and lived to very old age. Food modifications are causing more harms than the nutrients and enjoyments that they are supposed to be giving us. We can condone fertilized food because we have geometrical increase in the population of the world and they need geometrical increase in food supply. But from processed food that is causing harm to people's health to this recent GMO poisons should be discouraged in every well meaning countries.

The major problem is that those chemicals are harmful to our immune system and reducing it's funtionalities making the entire body system to become easily accessible by sickness and diseases to enter our body system, it is really time we go back to the ways of our forefathers and let go off of those artificially processed food, and increase our mentality on eating our natural food just the way they are
In my country side people hardly live up to 80 years while in history our forefathers were staying up to 200, 190, 150, years before give up the gost but now people dies more at their early 60s and late 70s.

Can anyone in here give any data that actually proves or even suggest that GMO is harmful to anyone. Preferably from legit groups of scientists that have made it their lives to study this field. Like any release from EFSA for example would be nice.

Here are some disadvantages of GMOs

1. GMO can produce toxic substances which may have toxic effect on human and animal organs.
2. If GMO produce novel protein that are resistant to heat, stomach acid and digestive enzymes, a persistent allergen could be introduced in human diet.
3. GMO can affect immune system function.
4. Investigators have found out that the overexpression of certain gene products in GMO can disrupt the metabolic pathway of sex steroids.

The world is doing very fine with the natural way we cultivate our crops and get foods to eat, why bring GMO foods knowing fully well that this foods are not good for our bodies, I'm happy some countries are against this GMO foods and has ban it from there country for example France, Germany, Austria, Algeria, Madagascar, Greece, Hungary, the Netherlands, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Bhutan, and Saudi Arabia.
Now for those of you that don't know what GMO is all about let me explain GMO (Genetically Modified Organism) is a plant, animal, or microorganism whose DNA has been changed by scientists to give it new traits, like better resistance to pests or improved nutrition, but this food are in one way or the other harmful to human health and that's why you see some countries banning it from there country, but some countries have not ban it for example the united state of America and the citizens are really protesting against GMO foods and saying that it should be banned.

After i carried out research on GMOs, i discovered they're not organic food, and any food that's not organic food isn't good for our immune system because it will slowly weaken our immune system, and we will be defenceless against germs, and we will find it difficult to heal when we are sick. GMO is a big threat to our health, and I believe our leaders will ban the usage of GMO in our country since it has no healthy benefits to our health. We should also stop buying fruits that have no seeds inside them because they are not organic foods; they are GMO foods, and they will damage our immune system.

Well I do think there is alot of GMO foods but we do not this. Sometimes the labels will say there is no GMO in it and we can not eat foods like this.

I eat alot of rice and grains and I do think they have some GMO in there. Yes it is best for us to try not to eat foods that have them. But to just say we will not eat them ever again is not possible really.

I'm glad to see this peaceful demonstration on the say no to Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) to several countries around the world and the faster the government should look into this Genetically Modified Organism the soonest it will help us from falling sick because of the side effect of Genetically Modified Organism (GMO) and for crying out loud our natural crops and plants has been their for us to always harvest them and refine into finished goods for humans consumption, it is not advisable introducing what will be reducing our life Spam on earth all in the name of creating something new into the country, we should know that no food that can be as health to those our natural food gotten from the farm.

Why can't they allow people eat natural food, any government that accepts GMO food is a bad and evil government that don't have the interest of people at hand.
What is even making me more angry is that the world health is saying GMO foods are okay for human consumption but they can't eat it if giving to them, the world health has been bribed and that is why they are not seeing the evil in GMO foods.
I saw world health organisation as a very sensitive organization but I don't see them that way anymore.
Let the people eat natural food and not GMO food.
