You are absolutely correct that is the real truth about it because everybody might not have luck at the same time, that is how gambling was program since luck have the besic role in determining the final outcome. 

However, just like as you mentioned that is how it works. Because there are people who have been betting repeatedly as the luck is not there, they end up losing, while some people normally end up being lucky on their first trial and get a win, so is quite a normal thing.

Some people actually dedicate their lives into lottery, playing for decades in an attempt to win. Their "strategy" seems simple and logical, the more you play, the more likely you are to win, and from one perspective, it does make sense, but on the other hand, it also doesn't. Probabilities don't necessarily work that way, as you've also mentioned yourself, someone could end up being lucky on their first try, while others have been trying for years with no results. This is where you end up spending a ton of money, without realizing, only hoping to win one day, that may never come.

The chances of playing the lottery are very low, I myself have never played the lottery, let alone bet money, I think it would be a waste, even if I was given free bets, I often ignore them, in my opinion it's just a waste of time and besides, who believes that it's fair?

Yes of course, it's very possible to win a lottery through betting on multiple tickets. Because infact it increases your chances of winning the lottery when you place a multiple tickets compared to if you could have bought just a single ticket, which is why some gamblers do buy more to increases their chances of winning.

For those who manage to win a lottery jackpot, I'm pretty much sure that the amount won are always bigger to cover whatever expenses that could have been made in the past while gambling. Because imagine winning $1million, after placing a multiple bet daily of $1 each for 10 times. You will notice that that $1million would have covered even a 20yrs bet been done daily. Hence, when you are lucky to win a lottery jackpot, it's always worth it.

It depends on the lottery, but generally each draw is individual, so repeating a number gives you the same odds as if you chose a different one each time. However, if you're a regular player, I doubt that if you ever get lucky and win, the losses will outweigh the winnings.

I once played a ticket. It was my first time and my last to date. I won, but the prize wasn't a significant amount, so I wasn't thrilled or anything.

Lottery could have a fix amount to pick the ticket and it's usually small amount for per ticket and not like that we've in the casino and sport bets were bettors could wager with any amount such as the chances of increasing your wager above the minimum amount.
In the lottery bets, winners are picked in a random so, the effort of trying to be analytical on your decision making like the normal bets isn't really necessary because anyone be it experience or inexperience persons buying the tickets can be lucky to be the winner.

I have never bought a lottery ticket, is this topic a reminder that i should try my luck sometime, lol. The chances of winning the lottery, let alone the jackpot is extremely low. I personally know someone who is addicted to the lottery, she hasn't won anything significant yet, just a small amount in Naira every now and then, but she never fails to play, hoping to win big one day. I am sure there are a lot of people like my friend around the world, though they are not much different from people who are into other kinds of gambling.

I knew someone who bet on the lottery everyday and won decent money too not like in millions but a few hundred and in thousands but he did that everyday so the money he spent on buying the tickets may exceed what he won.

We can find very few who have repeatedly won the lottery and if I am not wrong I shared the video too while someone interviewed the person who won lottery and he just explained how he did and he won again on the camera while demonstrating what he did previously so it's pure luck or in other terms being at the right place at the right time.

I haven't picked interest in lotteries, moreover i consider it a hard gambling since the probability of winning is extremely low.

I hardly win in a raffle draw with 1/50 possibility, i don't know how possible for 1/1000 in lottery or more but everything could be worth trying, i find confinement in games with some skill treats, at least my chances are high and the fun.

Lottery stopped being popular in my country a long time again. The last time it trended was when America Visa Lottery was still a thing in my country but at the moment, I have not heard anything about it which could mean they have stopped the program and pottering died with it. What is popular here is normal casinos and it's one big industry.

Lottery is a different ball game entirely I don't personally play lottery because there's nothing fun about it as because in lottery you have limited options you only gets to peak only numbers with the hopes of the number that you have peaked coming out which to me is not that cool with me.



Wining on lottery is very difficult even more than your normal sport betting because you can be can eventually win lottery but but considering the money that you have used in gambling before you get lucky and win you will see that ii is not worth it

The lottery has been known for its low percentage of winning. I experienced winning before with just a small amount, and yes, I tried to bet the same number. Unfortunately, winning never happened again. So I stopped doing it and tried another number, and still I never won again.

Yes, I believe in beginner's luck. Most of the time it happens to me. That is why I wondered and asked why it was going like this. So I choose sports betting, where I can use my knowledge, and I don't rely on luck.

For many winning lottery is near to impossible as I am also one of them because I try many times in last few years, but sadly I never have anything positive from them just because of this I lost my interest and now having not enough interest.

Well of course it is! There have been plenty of winners, that's how people have won most of the time you play and play and play. Its rare to never play and win. My favorite is seeing the press about the winners and they're in some screamo mask for the picture to hide their identities from their friends and family. Id do that too lol

It's because not everyone has the same luck, that's why it might be effective for some, but not for everyone. As for me, I don't bet except on few occasions like our local Easy 2 games. I think I just won one time but it was years ago. And for gamblers, we all know that the odds are really stack against us but it's not possible to hit as we have heard stories as well of people winning it the first time. But as I have said, it could be that it is already written in your life that you will win that lottery that will change your life. Not sure though if there will members here that willing to tell us that they actually won the lottery.

There are undoubtedly many people who have won lotteries, but the odds are low, and I guess they wouldn't be here on the forum posting if that were the case.

It depends on the kind of lottery. Picking two numbers out of 10 is easier to win than picking 6 out of 58. As for the former, I personally know of people who repeatedly won it. As to the latter, yeah, the chance of getting hit by a lightning is higher than winning it. Even if you make a bet every day for the rest of your life, you'd most probably die without hitting the jackpot.

What's amusing is that despite the 0.00000247% winning chance, people still sacrifice a portion of their tight finances to bet on their number combination.

Such people do exist, but the number of wins they had and the cumulative money they lost almost ends up coming close.

Even then certain people have had their lives made huge from lottery wins. Still this is rare and should not be used as an inspiration to buy tickets.

It is a gambling game by all means and you are more likely to lose then win.
