True, people tend to hide updates about what truly works for them, this is why I don't believe anyone coming out and telling the public that they can make them rich or that they have a solution to best poverty, in the end you have to buy something from them or they steal data from you.

People who believe that something can still come for free will always be a victim to this type of dreams, if truly something is working for you the first thing that will come to your mind is making a lot of money first before you expose the secret to a friend or family, the public interest won't come to mind, unless you want to monetize it. Is there anything that's actually free? You are in shackles already if you believe.

This is very true. I come across a lot of tutorial videos or tips only which does not really help the audience to achieve what they want and came for especially when it has to do with financial guidance and toturials on finances. I realize it is very difficult for them to show you the true and real hacks but just kind of do a teaser or a hook for the people to see. Most of these videos you watch online for free offering solutions are done by those people just to attract attention of the people to them but not really to truly solve their problems. Most tutorials which offer the true value of what you want to learn especially from an expert are locked up for some payments before they are released fully.

I made this post below in a thread in my local board and I thought I should share it here and also give my two cent opinion to others.

My advice to anyone will simply, avoid or do not buy dreams.

If dreams of cryptocurrency of any kind is sold to you do not buy to it.

This above is from my experience, all scams are always tied to selling of dreams, some people call it too good to be true ideas or dreams.

First way to avoid getting scammed is to be Skeptical about everything, and unsolicited private messages or DMs should be treated with Skepticism hence if otherwise any dreams sold to you by anyone should not be bought, don't hesitate to leave such conversations that have too much of promise of returns to you.

I hope this helps someone today.

Yes, this is definitely correct and will help the holders more, many sell and think differently before selling. I may decide to sell unique coins other than Bitcoin, I may be more aggressive in buying Bitcoin now. But the most important thing in buying is to have faith, if you don't have the coin then there will be no benefit in dreaming about your dividends.

For me it's very simple, I think everything that will be offered to you needs to be relatable because once it sounds too good to be true then trust me it's definitely too good to be true but most of the times people get drawn to the easy routes without properly making research and analysis on how legit the whole offer is and before they come to realize it, it's probably too late.

Scammer's know that humans are full of greed and many of them would fall for these promiscuous offer that's this same old idea of selling unreal never gets old because somewhere out there some greedy fellow will still buy in. The best you can do is to just check every offer made and scale the ratio at which is real and unreal that way you will avoid many scam attempts.

Don't be easily fooled by any promises made by others, especially on social media that might require someone to click or share a specific link, as this could compromise security measures. Avoiding fraud may be easy for those who understand the nature of fraud, but for the layperson, it's difficult because they don't understand it. Many scams occur online, and many people have had their balances drained by irresponsible individuals in ways that are beyond their comprehension.

There are many methods used by fraudsters to drain money from our mobile banking accounts, and if we're not careful, it can be dangerous. It's better to be skeptical, but don't ignore certain steps that could be dangerous, as cases like this are very common if people aren't careful.

It's better to be skeptical,
This is exactly what I have been preaching, don't take things likely and soft especially when it has promise in it and if they are from unsolicited DMs or not popular source or anything that has to be private.

And it's also good we know that nobody on eat knows how to make money and will want to share the knowledge for free or easily as they do promise, whatever is that manner is probably a scam attempt.

Being sceptical could save you from a lot of scams, you get to ask necessary questions and give yourself the time you need to decipher what could be wrong with certain investment packages and how it’s scheme is worked.

Although, you have to be sure not to use too much time in exercising your skepticism as that could easily translate into a lost opportunity as well.
Don’t always try to be self dependent and sufficient on certain matters, always be open to asking necessary questions when need be and seek the aid of those that have been there.

[...]
This is very important warning and yes it is hard for regular people to avoid scams because they do not know tricks because scammers always invent new trick to make people fool so most important rule is to never trust any online promise which asks you to click link or share personal details. If anyone really want to stay safe so he/she need doubt means never believe surprise offers on social media and carefulness means always follow basic safety rules and best defense is to treat any unexpected request as risk.

If you look at project communities, you’ll notice that next to the administrators’ nicknames it often says they never message first. This serves as a warning for newcomers, those who just joined or don’t know how scammers operate. Despite this, many still fall for the trick when scammers contact first and offer something to download or a site to register on, this is a common practice. For people who aren’t very familiar with online security, this may be new, but anyone who has studied even the basics of internet safety will recognize it. Being cautious and skeptical toward strangers is very important when it comes to your money.

I definitely concur with the part I bolded out. In this present dispensation, it's very difficult for someone to share with the world the secret to their wealth without expecting something in return, and then there are even some who due to security reasonss will not even be willing to share the secret to their wealth, even though you are willing to pay them..... .

And then you know what I find very funny, it is that most of  these fraudster and scammers who are dressed in the robes of wealthy and influential personnelss even go as far as using their own airtime to call you and text you telling you about some kind of Investment platform that can make me a billionaire overnight  Cheesy  You know I still wonder why people still keep falling for scam's like this, is it that they are so desperate to be  make it or what?  So bad.

To my understanding not buying dreams sold to you,is not a bad idea but on the other hand.dreams can be sold to you and if is coming from the a right source the dream can come reality and beneficial to you.but not from a random person you don't know and most time there are a lot of person on your dm that are random people.knowledge and wisdom is a very good thing to have so you don't fall for some unwanted dreams that look real and they are not.for example a dream is sold out to you to buy bitcoin  or any asset, are you the one investing on it,and having access to it.or investing on someone else dream the person told you to buy and that person is just a random person you should no is a scam.so just limit conversation with random person on you buying dreams they told you.

I believe that the first way to avoid getting scammed is not being greedy and believing in something for nothing, secondly not seeking the easy way to achieving a great financial success.

It's better to ask yourself some vital questions or get clarifications on how someone promising you any goodies actually makes his own money from the business.  I've learned that for a business to be sustainable, an employer should make up to 5 times or more what he pays for labour or collaboration, so if there's no clear and practical way he gets his own revenue, then you're the revenue.
Nothing good and transformative comes at a platter and if anything so good to be true comes in that form you shouldn't mistake it for an opportunity because what can destroy our finances and leave us suck dry can come looking like an opportunity when it's not. Do your homework, hesitate and ask the questions most people are shying from asking and if they're ain't answered to your satisfaction, see it as a result flag. Because for sure, you can instead turn to the opportunity in a place you thought you have being shown an opportunity.

well it is true the way people have been scammed with different formats.
But note why you are not taking Risk
You are taking the risk already for not taking the risk
What I mean here is when a new coin is launched and you refuse to buy it when the value of the  coins increases you will blame yourself that you have buy some coins.
Calculated risky is good to take.
For instance when Bitcoin was introduced many people did not pay much attention because of past experience with scammers.

You are very correct those dreams that are sold to people are the beginning of scam when you accept and you decide to do as they have said immediately you become someone that is under an influence that you don't even know how to come out of it and they scam you everything you have and leave you empty, so just like the OP have said avoid any dream that looks too good to be true especially when it concern trading and cryptocurrency that is the tactics they use to scam people so whenever you receive a PM in this forum or your social media account by someone concerning anything related to selling his or her dream to you please don't buy it, one thing I would love you all to know is that anywhere that is giving someone huge amount of money and it is very easy it is usually hard for that person to share that update to any other person so don't be fooled be very careful and don't allow anyone sell their idea or dreams to you because it may lead you to regret.

From what I know you don't compare bitcoin to any of the shitcoins or altcoins today because firstly bitcoin is the first of its kind and taking the risk on a project that has never existed surely pays off, during the days of NFT sure people who started it early made so much profit and those who also bought in to new ideas like AI are now in good profit those paradigm event are worth the risk and not new coins or ideas sold to you by some unsolicited DMs or private messages.

I believe you guys ,  some people  are very deceitful and trickish a lot of people believe that sometime nothing is never ever be free in site of men but it is not easy for someone to give a vital information leading to richest without him gaining sometime from you sometime it may be that you pay with your sweat or your properties,  for me most of the scammers who dresses in the white robe of being a richman are very good or bad  because they are very mean to get want they want from that personon their plan to scam anyone are physically oriented if you are not careful enough you be easily scam.

One shouldn't hesitate on dream sold to him or her why because it's easily failed either you end up being scammed come to look at it no  reality dream is sold rather you work hard to gain your aim or makes some research findings before conclusion it's ideally to be vital to yourself having thoughts deeply on how promises and goodies dream sold advertise just to leads you wrongly in the name of leading you to progress.

So for one to quickly decides for a dream sold its better you have a rethink and share a conversation like this to one having ideas while because sharing ideas enables you gain more knowledge on how to be curious about such a thing been unknown called dream sold so for the wise dream can't be sold rather you work for it.

The strategy of "selling dreams" to manipulate potential victims into believing everything they offer is very commonly used by fraudsters. Anyone should always be skeptical and alert so as not to rush into making decisions, especially if the offer or dream being sold seems too good to be true.
Self-awareness needs to be increased to maintain safety from people who sell false dreams because there is no free lunch without something that must be paid to others. Always consider any offers that come via DM or Email that seem very promising because there is always a motive behind the seemingly profitable offer.

I have come to believe that whatever is good and worth it is worth given your time and resources, you can  not just think that someone can just sell out your his or her dreams to you  without having to go through any rigorous process or procedures.

I think in my opinion it is easier to know what offer is genuine and what offer is not you should not think that in the blink of an eye you can just make money just like that. If you look at certain offers and weigh them thoroughly you will realize that they are worth the reward attached to it
