Poor people are working for survival first.

After they attain some level of survival where they don't worry about money, food, shelter, clothing, they now move to the other level of pursing their goals and living a comfortable life. A poor person can turn their lives around with the right mindset and surrounding themselves with the right people. Because there are poor people who have gone from being poor to wealth, it shows that it is possible and can be done.

This is not true, perhaps only for the weakest people among us. If you get used to poverty, but not in a suffering I have survived way, then you are able to live both in luxury and in poverty whatever comes to you. If you have fixations and mental problems relating to your previous status of poverty then you may indeed have issues letting go of luxury.

Most poor people are very complacent, they barely ever do something more than what is necessary for survival.

I think that those who grow up poor tend to have a very limited expose to luxurious living standards, so their dreams start out more pragmatic, such as paying basic bills, achieving stability and especially getting out of debt. If they have some motivation at all, its driven by immediate need, as everything else is stifled by the exhaustion of simply survive your life.

On the other hand, those who grew up rich (you know this concept is very relative, right?) have very high standards of comfort and easy access to various things, so when they lose everything, they face a major shock of scarcity that will certainly generate an urge to try to recover what they lost. But... I don't doubt that there are those who, out of frustration and shame at the drop in social standards, take the opposite path: they spiral into discouragement and stagnation.

Of course, these two aspects cant be generalized to everyone... there are many exceptions, but I believe this is the "standard."

In my country, a topic about heirs and pioneers is going viral. There's a young child (a content creator) who is actually an heir to wealthy parents, but claims to be a pioneer. Many people criticize him because his definition of a pioneer is having full financial support from his parents. He's had a content creative team since he was 5 years old.

I'm someone who believes that a person's character isn't determined by wealth or poverty. Surviving with dignity and being a good person requires struggle and resilience. This resilience needs to be cultivated and practiced. People who live comfortably from childhood and whose parents never teach or train their children about the meaning of struggle (delayed gratification) will, when the wheel of life suddenly turns, inevitably stumble, topple, fall, and feel confused because they're unfamiliar with the world of life full of struggle and where every penny counts.

Similarly, poor people who suddenly become rich will usually spend their money on consumption and indulge in things they haven't previously enjoyed. They tend to be stingy.

In contrast, people with strong and positive characters think and act in poverty to survive and improve. Meanwhile, in wealth, they strive to be more beneficial to the people and the environment around them.

There are a whole range of factors that caused poverty or allow someone to grow their wealth to a high level. Some of it comes down to the willpower and innovation of the individual - some have the energy to hustle relentlessly, try new things, taking multiple jobs or switching companies to move up the ladder. Others might be poor as a product of their environment, maybe they did not get good nutrition while they were in school (making it hard to concentrate), they might have had children early in life which can make it harder to accumulate wealth or they didn't have a strong family safety net to give them that initial strong start. There are so many reasons that it's usually hard to talk about it in general terms.

However most people when they get on the right career trajectory, will grow their finances from strength to strength, so they may as well take the experiences out there and enjoy them - the key thing is not to be wasteful with money.

Nobody loves staying poor I even see some mad people doing business to make sure there is something for them, now imagine someone who grew up with a golden spoon but misused the opportunity maybe they can still make it but life will be very difficult for them more than those that were born poor because it's just as if you parked to a new place where you have to know everything about that place before starting to grow but the poor one's already know all the nooks and crannies in the jungle but when a poor man finally gets there they can even stay hungry for a whole day to avoid spending and they know how to manage wealth even without business education, there are a lot of lessons you learn from life in poverty, there is this special knowledge every poor man has, my friend used to say when you live too poor you start reasoning like an adult.

But like you mentioned luxurious life it is good to live a luxurious life dress the way you want to be addressed but the most important thing to note there is that luxuries are the same thing that can still bring you down so don't be addicted to luxury but have luxuries if you have the wealth and also observe yourself, your account and your business before acquiring luxuries for safety.

The topic of motivation and ambition across different social classes is much deeper than that. After all, what is considered rich and what is considered poor is debatable and also varies greatly from one country to another. Moreover, many people are not very poor but are also not rich either, so it is hard to think in binary here. Of course, if someone needs to cover basic needs, one will be doing that to survive, but it doesn't mean that there won't be anything else to this person or their interests and aspirations. Likewise, for people accustomed to having everything they need, it may or may not be interesting to embark on new adventures, to grow as human beings and to contribute to important areas of life and prosperity of humanity.
I've never been rich-rich, but I have been at different levels of poor and at different levels of being quite well-off. The great advantage of the latter is that at least you don't need to worry about the basics, and that you have more growth opportunities. But, at least in my case, it also correlates with having time as the most valuable resource, and always such a limited one.

The best method of "rags to riches" is starting a business that can scale. I am not talking about starting some bakery, while that may also make a lot of money at the peak level, franchising and all that, it's rare. I am talking about a product for example, whatever the most simplistic thing you can think of is better, a bar of soap, a shirt, whatever.

While those are very hard to crack into, and would not make sense at all to start one right now unless you already have a ton of followers, that would still be better to scale than some gift shop or whatever. That way, if you have a good product, and I mean like really good, in fact if you can then the best product compare to competition, then you can definitely become super wealthy by selling it to everyone.

It is much dangerous to go from rich to poor as it is to go from poor to rich. The motivation would be easier psychologically for the the poor guys who's working on going up the ladder. I think he would be less distracted by former glories and pomp that could serve as a distraction for the formerly rich to stay patient to work up back to the ladder.

Except in cases where someone who was rich before had to build many lives into privilege positions before accidentally fall down to poverty. There's a high tendency that those lives he had built would give him the wings to quickly fly high back up there.

I understand what you're saying. If rich people become rich from birth, even when they fall into poverty, they'll struggle to get back up because they lack the ladder or the process. Those who have lived comfortably since birth, when they fall into poverty, it's usually difficult to get back up unless they become rich through the process or climb the ladder.

In reality, both, whether they're poor and want to become rich, or go from rich to poor to achieve their goals, what's really needed is mentality, because becoming rich or poor is primarily about mentality. A poor mentality isn't about how much money they have, but rather their mindset. If they have a poor mentality, they'll be lazy and easily discouraged, and they'll be poor forever. Even if rich people fall into poverty, if they have a poor mentality, they won't be able to get back up. Even when they become rich again, they'll fall back into poverty. But if they have a rich mentality, no matter how many times they fall into poverty, they'll bounce back. So, it all comes down to whether each individual has a poor mentality or a rich mentality.

There are certain age and phase you get in life and even your goals, aspirations, and dreams begin to fade off. The drive and passion just goes away cos of hustling that's for those who are from poor background, and it can't be same for someone who has never known what it means to be hungry.

Is also very possible for someone who has tested money to fall back to square one. Life can happen to anybody and some rich people can also misuse their opportunities cos of the mindset that the money is always there.

A rich man who suddenly goes bankrupt might not even survive it, most of them just gives up on life completely.

I think both the mindset and the financial troubles are holding poor people back from having extra money to save and invest. And since they are working jobs which do not pay very well and robs them of their time and energy, they also do not have the opportunity to build a fundament on which they can continue building wealth. Being rich is far easier by comparison since you have time and extra money with which you can make more money.

So no, poor people are not poor because of being complacent (which they are not).

Actually it would be just that depending into someones persepective when it comes to life on which each person will be that different when it comes to status or condition on what kind of family they've been raised whether its poor or rich on which it would be something that influences their own views and perspective in life. If you've been that living to a poor family then you are someone who do easily adjust into whatever situations that you are facing even you do have become rich and goes back on being poor again then it would be just that fine, most could be able to survive but there are those who cant be able to accept on what happened into their life and they cant be able to accept it out. There are those rich people who do become poor and never ever having that recovery afterwards. Some might that eager on maknig up some recovery but most of the time these people do just simply give up and just doing nothing. This is why i would be saying that it all depends on a certain person into this aspect because our mind or brain does have that different way of thinking.

I understand that we can separate the rich and poor too much, but life does not depend only on figures in the bank account. It is not always that the poor person who goes and asks is an evil person, and cuts it chicken to say of the rich person who says no, that he is cruel. Fears, traumas and the unseen reasons are behind each decision. Not everyone can be expected to follow expectations especially when they have had varying experiences. Maybe, it is not the case that we need to judge, but to learn how not to fall in automatic conclusions. Either, we all are learning to get to know life in terms of ups and downs that cannot be planned always. Life is a cycle. It has been said that life is not linear. You will experience the good things and the bad things. Sometimes repeatedly. poor people are not prone to staying poor or are not complacent to their situation, but however i think the poor are usually being careful not to fit in to a class they cant afford to maintain for a long period of time, you know leaving like a rich man is easy but maintaining it is another thing. so it is good a poor man leave his life according to what he can well afford as not to feel embarrassed when he can not afford to maintain it.

Moreover, they should save some money out of their families and some money. Because their children need to be worried about the future and a man will not always work. At one point it will grow old and retire from close. That is why you have to retire yourself to any situation and think about the future. So that he can live well later.
