Running a gambling platform is a business, i'm not expecting the company to keep holding until now, they must have sold at some point. As far as i know, there is a terms and conditions on the casino that stste that you eithe lose or you win whichever ways, you will definitely get what you paid for which is either the casino win or they lose for you to win, nothing iillegal its a business and sure revenue generation is the aim, and you uave to lose for them to make revenue to continue in operations, back in 2017 bitcoin was a little bit low in price compared to now that we have alot going for bitcoin in terms of value increase, dont regret ops you just have to man up and move on.

Past is Past and there's nothing we can do about it! The only reason on why we are saying that we are just that making them rich just because we have lost Bitcoin to them. Come to think that you arent that being forced to play in the first place on which means that you dont have the right to blame or telling something against them. They are business on which they've been offering service into those people who do want to gamble. I have been that able to remember into those old days that people are getting fond of dealing with that hi-lo game on which that time which martingale method is still that what make gamblers being hyped on and im also one of those people who had lost up Bitcoins on that time but the biggest part of on where i have lost tons of coins is on HYIPs and Doublers and with those fake mining shit wayback. Whales are individuals or businesses who buy large number of Bitcoin with the intention of holding and selling later in the future to make high returns. I don't see a casino who offers gambling services as whales. Some of the Bitcoin that was used for gambling might have been used to run the casino. Bettors win sometimes and the will have to be paid. The casino have staff on their payroll and they also have other expenses to cover. You might be surprised to know that Freebitco might not be holding as much Bitcoin as you think. Maybe most of the Bitcoin have been used to run the casino.

Using Bitcoin to gamble is not bad all you have to do is use your Discretionary income and then use it to bet, it those not matter if it is in Bitcoin or your currency your Discretionary income is your discretionary income it those not matter if is in Bitcoin or not, there are people who use Bitcoin to purchase some items let's not forget that Bitcoin can also be used as a means of exchange, if you used Bitcoin that is only your Discretionary income I don't think you will be regretting maybe you used Bitcoin that is meant for investment.
You may be enriching gambling companies for fun but it is something that makes you happy when you are watching movies online you are also enriching those that have the movie, when you are going to football stadium to watch matches you are also enriching them for fun.
The reason why we make money is so we can have fun and be happy by using it, if gambling with my money can make me happy is not a waste, and I won't regret it especially since I'm using my discretionary income.

The definition of whales is that it’s individuals or entities holding large amount of bitcoin. So by definition yes. But also it’s not like they just hold their bitcoin without using any of it because I am sure keeping the company running costs quite a lot too.

As at the year you had to be using one full btc to gamble the value of bitcoin as at then was that really not much of a tangible value that many were not able to afford to lose. Now another thought about what you just said that comes to mind about you losing your bitcoin to freebitco. Which is, you could invariably be categorised among those back then who didn't have much confidence on bitcoin gaining so much value today. If a lot of you all had then you wouldn't have dare to gamble using your btc at the time in 2017.

Did these people ask or pleased with you to enrich them?   (just being sarcastic tho), but you might not have held the 1 Bitcoin till it gets to today's price or value. Honestly, if you had not spend your 1 Bitcoin in freebitco, would you be able to hold it till now? I am guessing that you would have sold it before now. Whether people are still gambling or betting with Bitcoin or not, it doesn't stop the casino from being richer, gamblers are still enriching the casinos irrespective of any currency they are using (be it Bitcoin, fiat, cryptocurrencies) .

1 BTC at the time doesn't worth much, it's not as if I won't survive without it, and moreover this is just a discussion, if these casinos held the Bitcoin for years now they would have made 20 times their money already and if gambler hold their Bitcoin instead and maybe use Fiat they would have been rewarded right now.

It doesn’t make any difference if you use bitcoin or fiat currencies to gamble, if you use the fiat currency and lose you just lost the value of bitcoin in that currency because you could have used it to buy bitcoin.

Yes people lost lots of bitcoins to many gambling platforms. Nobody forced them to gamble. They looked at the odds and took the risks and lost it all.

I think the number one way how people got cleaned out was martingaling dice. Where you keep doubling your bet whenever you experience a loss.

It’s addictive because if you start low like $1 per bet it seems like a good way to make $1 per bet but most don’t realize that it’s very common to run into a large string of losses.

They are one of the early adopters and so, they're one of the whales that have accumulated a lot before for themselves before they start a casino.
Also, the losses of the users to them before, it's possible that they have kept a lot of them and that's not a problem. They are a known business and so, it is usual for them if they are one of the whales today or they have became rich in Bitcoin because of their gambling business.
We don't know before how Bitcoin will become this big so, most of us have spent their Bitcoins as small as 1 digit before because the price was smaller back then. Now, we cannot attain to lost probably two decimal places of Bitcoin because of how huge the value and equivalent to dollars. We're on our own free will to gamble and casinos like them never forced us.

Some of these online casinos are whales and I will not doubt that because they use it to run their business mostly the crypto casinos, they do need Bitcoin to keep their casino going because if they do not have as much Bitcoin, they will not be able to run their business because some gamblers do win with either Fiat or other cryptocurrency of which they can convert their Bitcoin to substitute for those when they have limited funding on those.

If you look at your entire transactions you’ve done throughout your life you’ll noticed that there are somethings which at the moment you transacted them were of low values but today there are worth 100 times more than they did when you had them and that’s the same thing that happened here, it’s not as if the Op knew that it would become this expensive in the future (same with most bitcoiners).

So like I said before, I don’t think it’s really worth dwelling on topics like this because it will only open wounds that have been closed for years and you’ll start feeling depressed for something that happened ages ago.

Anyone who's been into gambling knows about Freebitco, and honestly, I’ve had my own experiences there too. I even lost track of how much BTC I used to gamble with. Of course using Bitcoin to gamble is totally a waste of valuable asset, and I would never in any way think of using it to gamble. Honestly, Bitcoin is so precious to me and the value is top notch so gambling with it might likely result to something else because I can not afford to lose easily in gambling. However, I might gamble for fun and entertainment with other coins but I would never try it with Bitcoin because there is no guarantee of winnings in gambling.

what was the price of bitcoin at the time of loss? it's very much not a match with the current price, yes they would be enrich from your failure to hold your coins to yourself instead you chose to double it or risk it for fun by gambling, it's literally not supposed to bother you anymore, however, it probability that they will still be holding the coins you lost to them till date is very small and if they do them they have enough to be runing the platform till whenever, it's to their profit and no organisation or business is set for loss it's always for profit so whatever be the case today it's the avenue they created for themselves for success.

I spent 3 months collecting satoshis on FreeBTC. It was something I spent every 30 minutes collecting, I spent more than 8 hours a day collecting. After 3 months collecting, I managed to get a good amount, but my greed blinded me. I went on YouTube to search how to multiply all my satoshi, then I saw a video of someone talking about using FreeBTC's Hi and Low games and putting it on autobet.

He gave me some settings and I did exactly as he instructed. I left the game running, after a few hours I went to check and saw that I had lost everything. I was shocked that all my 3 months of effort was destroyed in a few hours. Since that day, I never played Hi and Low games with any satoshi deposited again. I stopped using the site since that day. That was in December 2016.
