You spend bitcoin on gambling just like you spend fiat currency on gambling - so why do you start hating it when the price of bitcoin is as high as it is now?

In my opinion, you lost your bitcoin to Freebitco because you never believed the bitcoin price would skyrocket, and I believe you would have sold your bitcoin so cheaply in the crypto market if you didn't use it to gamble on the Freebitco platform, so you shouldn't regret your actions because you are fully responsible for your actions since you know you chance of winning a bet is low, but you still chose to gamble with your bitcoin. It's pointless to regret the past. First of all, not only you, but also other people played there voluntarily (for example, I won, albeit a little). You are right that using BTC to gamble is a waste of valuable asset.  Because many has gambled out there Bitcoin to Casino and lost it there. Although at a point i feel like the amount of Bitcoin used to gamble can equally be equated to fiat at it's current value at that time, lete say $50 Worth of BTC could be equal to just $50 in fiat but I later realize that both are no thesame. Gambling with a stable currency like USDT or fiat that is affected by inflation and Gambling with a volatile asset like Bitcoin can not be thesame. I see that it is important we gamble with fiat and invest in Bitcoin than using Bitcoin to gamble.

Yes, gambling can be viewed this way. You are enriching the casino for your own fun, but is it for fun only? I guess that you enriched Freebitco.in not only for fun, but for the opportunity to win more BTC. Most gamblers play to win money/crypto, they aren't playing for fun.
Are gambling platform owners the first crypto whales? Probably. I don't have verified info about this or that crypto casino owner being a crypto whale. Running a crypto casino requires costs for advertising and maintaining customer support(and paying out profits). The gambling business is very competitive, which means that the profits margins aren't that big.

The only area I disagree with you a little is on thr side that gaming shouldn't be treated as a serious business. I don't see gambling that way because I categorise anything that involves money as serious business and gambling is one of them. If I don't take it as serious business, I could just be better on mediocre teams to win all the time and you know how that will end. the reason why you and any other person in the part where able to use up to five bitcoin to gamble or had an accumilated loss that is upto five bitcoin is because the value of bitcoin was not a big deal at then, chances are that freebitco has also sold part of their bitcoin holding before this very moment. there are so many decisions we have taken in the past that we are not so proud of, part of it is how we choose to spend our bitcoin because we are likely short sighted and did not see bitcoin doing really well like what we have at the moment.

the game is simple and straight forward. if you lose, you enrich others and if you win, you enrich yourself, it is that simple. it is just in your place to decide what to do with the information you already have and fact is that no one is forcing you to continue gambling even when you are having more losses than wins. we only complain when we are losing more but are quiet when we are in the winning side.

Nope, they cannot be the first whales, what about the types of Lazlo who used 10k BTC to buy pizza? They're no where close to the early people who mined BTC and got lots of it for free and some of them still holding. They may have gathered some good quantity to be considered whales, but I'll classify them as 3rd generation whales after those that mined free and those that bought when it had little or no value.

I think this discussion is useless as the gambling site can do anything what they think best for them. They can sell, exchange to other currency or they gamble themselve on other side that is neither your business nor ours.
