The only reason why I'm in support of this is because the stake is actually moderate, this is what it means to gamble responsibly and smartly. $20 to get $700 seems like a lot but it's possible but what makes it safe is the amount, some bettors prefer to chase small wins with huge stakes and to me that's way too risky because even small odds are not a guarantee of winning, make sure you always stake a moderate amount

I don't understand why gamblers are so fond of setting themselves such huge distant financial goals that are very unlikely to be achieved.
It's just that if I even take into account the roulette chances, which are 50/50, then there are two possible outcomes: either losing those 20 dollars, or doubling them. And the positive outcome is 50 percent. The next multiplication by two implies 25, and so on. And the chance of accumulating $700 this way is very small.

This is a general problem and it's one thing, general financial difficulties. See, naturally we all have different financials and financial instability and this is different from one person to another depending on how we all earn. There are people that earn though but the problems they have is way bigger than what they have at that moment and when they have gambling as way to risk, they do it and put all their mind into it that they can make the money from there.

That's a good point you have made here.There is a great difference between the two game slots and sports betting . That's true, gambling is a way of getting extra fund base on our ability to predict, but of course turning $20 to $700 could really be a very difficult task considering how hard it is to predict, it's really sound funny. One important thing about gambling is that you wouldn't know the kind or type of game you would play that will give you that kind of money. Is easier to say than done,  I think the reason why you're saying this so easily is maybe you have not experience win before in gamble. Because had it mean you have experience wining before you would've know the feeling when you're in a wining streak more especially when you're gambling with target, you won't even think of walking away but to continue gambling since you're in a wining streak as you will be trying to see if you can meet up your target that very moment. I agree with this because, after all, gambling ultimately boils down to luck—when we win, it’s just luck, nothing more.  
There may be processes and strategies that some people consider smart, but in the end, it all comes down to luck, nothing more.

Winning against gambling and bookmakers is just empty talk, although it cannot be denied that some people do win huge jackpots when they gamble. What I think about gambling smart is being able to run through gambling activities and find yourself doing so great with it, more especially keeping every aspects intact void of being addicted and without greed. I think the strategies we adopt and risk management can have efficacy to reduce our losses when our greed and emotions have been tackled and taken care of. For instance, you  became lucky to win $100 with a $2 bet on your first 2 sessions but got greed to want to double it and you eventually lose it in the next tria. I actually did in the first week of this month, nearly reaching $1k from $27. But of course, there’s no such thing as continuous luck. Up and down, nearly drained, back up again, down again, then up again. Just like that. Good thing I already withdrew some, paid all my bills, and kept a portion. Although frustrating, at least even if I lose, I already spent part of my winnings. But I admit I wasn’t smart with my recent run. I’ve been playing for years, and I know I should stop, but having a good run sometimes makes me overconfident, which I know won’t do me any good. Keeping discipline in check is really hard sometimes, especially when you’re on a winning streak. It makes you over confident.
