Just to clarify to everyone, Huobi was "shut down" on the 5th of April because it was a national holiday in China.  Their staff / deposits were offline.  The site itself was still open for trading.  The April 5th date has nothing to do with the PBOC rumour.

Looks like Houbi is down right now. I'm getting a 404 error.

If Huobi is "shut down" on the 25th of April I will be extremely surprised.
BTC is so low it will not matter on the down side, and good news will cause a big Rally!

They did shut down their 3rd party payment processor. Bank deposits and withdrawls will very likely be banned too next week.

The last thing the Chinese government wants is social unrest.
They struggle with it since their existence.

A. Social unrest because the government shuts down bitcoin exchanges( i can clearly see millions of chinese demonstrating because of that? Cheesy Cheesy)

B. Social unrest because a lot of chinese people lost their money in the BTC scheme?

It's still not working for me unless I use a proxy. Anyone else getting this problem?

I would also like to add that this topic's title turns out to be FALSE as of the 7th of april 2014. Though I didn't consider Fonzie to be credible, this makes it even worse for him. It shows that he's just campaigning against Bitcoin, probably because:

1) He missed the boat and wants to get better gains, or two:
2) He's being paid to do so.

Whatever it is, obviously he failed. Do not trust Fonzie if you're new to these boards. Read everyone's opinion, not only the opinions of the guys that tend to shout the hardest.

Please stop trolling in my thread. Your attempts do discredit me will not work. All i did was posting the original article in chinese and the english translation of it, where it was clearly stated that they plan to shut down things @ April 5th, which happenend btw.
I was just linking to official news, neither was i lying or anything else.

@ParabellumLite

I just reported you to the moderator. It´s ok to have an opinion but there´s no need insult me in that way.
It´s not my fault that the BTC price is fallin down and will probably continue to fall.
I won´t response to any of your posts anymore after your call-up that i should commit suicide, that´s really low and nasty.

That in itself is, to quote your own words, really low and nasty and testifies of one of the two possible reasons which I posted above. The first one being that you hate not being there 'in time' when Bitcoin was increasing in value, the second one that you're being paid to do this.

Check your facts please, don´t spread misinformation. Again, it´s not my fault that the price went down.
No need do be upset with me. You can always short if the price continues to go down to recover your losses (if they should be the reason for all your anger).

I´m trying to warn people about the ongoing decline of the BTC price due to the price that has been artificially pumped and will now slowly come back to reality. I don´t want that anyone loses money.
