Can Bitcoin survive the next generation?

Bitcoin is not controlled by any central bank or government. Therefore, there is no possibility of any harm being caused by the influence of any person or organization. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency and this decentralized currency is the biggest strength of Bitcoin. It will survive as long as people need neutrality, as long as they want to be independent. One of the great strengths of Bitcoin is that the government or anyone else cannot shut it down. Because it is independent, It will exist as long as the world exists.

Bitcoin has been around for quite sometime now and for its existence to still reach now, then it is all thanks to its ability of being able to withstand so many challenges from the government. For it to remain decentralized is one of the weaponry it used against all governments strides on it. If it was something that can be controlled by the government, then it wouldn’t have lived this long. The government has a lot of power in it that it can shutdown anything within its means, this was one of the most projected things that Satoshi saw and made it decentralized. I believe Bitcoin will continue to exist as long as no new technology overrides it with a better one.

Just like no one knew bitcoin would come, another technological advancement may enter the scene but does it mean bitcoin will completely be gone? I do not think so. In fact, I think bitcoin will be the blueprint for all the coming projects. They will study and use bitcoin to make a better one.

Tech advances are happening all the time, but none is going to parallel bitcoin because it is one of a kind and those who have tried to copy it have failed miserably. There are questions about bitcoin future being stable or not being asked since the last 10years that I have been on this forum and so far we have always been going bullish overall.

So till we live we must make sure that we teach the next generation of the nuances of bitcoin and how it works to make sure they learn to save and be frugal about it.

In fact, the future cannot be completely predicted but there is no way to deny the interest and investment that people have in Bitcoin. However, I think that not only Bitcoin but the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem is still very experimental. So it is better to use it consciously rather than blindly trusting. Real intelligence is to use the current opportunity.

I agree about people's interest in Bitcoin in the future, but not across all ecosystems, as we see things emerge and disappear in the market over time. Conscious use can be defined as the concept of responsible use, but investing in Bitcoin may remain quite experimental for the next few years, so there's no need to worry about its future performance. If we don't take a conscious approach today, we will see the potential that exists unexploited.

Ultimately, we miss out on opportunities to achieve a better life through the investment process many people are currently undertaking. Taking a little risk is fine as long as we understand the opportunities available. If we are afraid to take that risk-based approach, we will never achieve any change because we are too afraid of something that might not happen.

So do not worry about bitcoin, it will do well in future as well.

Anything of value will not die just like that. There will always be demand for bitcoin as millions of people trust it.

The way Bitcoin has grown over the years, it's no longer hidden that government wish they actually controls Bitcoin because they seems to like it better. We have witnessed how the US government wanted Bitcoin badly but they fear what is going to happen to them because it's a new tech and because they don't control it. If Bitcoin belongs to one person, the US government would have cornerd the person to their country.

I like the way Bitcoin is decentralized, anyone is invited whether you are a government, institution, private companies, organization and individuals to buy and experience the new tech but everyone has to respect this network and do just as it's is. Nobody is above each other with Bitcoin, even if you have more Bitcoin it doesn't make you superior above others.

nobody knows how long will bitcoin will stay on Earth before it will be valueless, because another currency can be introduced today or tomorrow and many people would like to work with a such a currency, and immediately they started liking such a new currency bitcoin will be devalued, so my body can say the actual time and the actual duration bitcoin can stay, the only thing is that at this moment bitcoin is having a traffic and is dominating all over the world there's no country that is not familiar with the Bitcoin except a country that have a restriction in Bitcoin there are the countries that people living there does not know anything concerns Bitcoin, so the plans of everyone is for bitcoin to stay long and if bitcoin managed to stay up to 30 years I believe it will never die again it will remain and it will become a continuous currency in the world and it will will be a valuable.

So there's no need to doubt Bitcoin's long term future. It has gone through various phases, even negative issues, but it remains the most valuable asset today. I wonder to know if the next generation will use the paper and coins versions of FIAT? The real question is can FIAT survive the next generation?
Some central banks are testing e-FIAT like Euro and Chinese Yuan. Nothing changed right now but who knows how the situation will be by 2030 or 2035. These countries are pushing a lot for credit card to be used globally, restricting the usage of FIAT papers for payment for more than a predefined limit so people have to use checks or wire transfer...
All these small movements are a preparation for the ground for e-money and Bitcoin will be there too as a payment method in a way or another.

When you point out that blowing up the op_return from 80 bytes to a staggering 100,000 bytes, which would allow an attacker to swamp the chain with filth and child p**n, they reply stupidly by saying it's already been done. As if that was not a problem and as if it's okay to open the door wide open for spammers to barge in.

The people who buy Bitcoin as ETF shares shouldn't be called bitcoiners, as they are merely speculators who bet on the price of Bitcoin. They don't understand the value of Bitcoin and why it is and should be decentralised. Bitcoin was supposed to give people freedom but they still choose slavery.

To be fair, "missed" is a wrong word here. It's still a great way to make money, surely it is not as great as it used to be , that time is gone, you are not going to make x100 return, but if you can make about 6-7x return every 4 years, is that really bad? By that logic, if you invest 100 bucks today, in 4 years that will be 600 dollars, and in 8 years it will be 3600 dollars, and in 12 years it will be 21600 dollars, and in 16 years it will be 129600 dollars and in 20 years it will be 777 thousand dollars.

So you see, a mere 6x in 4 years, which is what we average at least (normally even more) we are doing awesome in 20 years, so it is not too late. I would say the compound increase calculated would make it amazing, as long as we just keep on investing and holding.

So you really think Bitcoin doing 'a mere 6x' in 4 years is still possible? You do realize what price was 4 years ago right? And that Bitcoin has done 6x only from 2017 to 2025. That's 8 years. Not 4.

Just like we have been seeing how the price of Bitcoin is being manipulated making the price to fall, we shouldn't see it like Bitcoin is not strong enough to overcome that but due to the whales that have large holdings in Bitcoin, they can decide to dump it which has been the reasons why the price of Bitcoin has been falling and rising.

Do not forget that the price of Bitcoin will worth more as the year keeps going by. Bitcoin worth less than a dollar as at 2009 but now, it worth more than $100k and by few years coming, it could worth more than a million dollar.

You're not wrong either mate! but perhaps bitcoin has gone so far that we can use the word "missed" for those who are regretting not buying in from the onset probably when they met bitcoin for the Frist time back in the days when bitcoin was still advertised but perhaps their is a lot more opportunities today to still buy and be in profit yet it's not see as it is supposed by some people. I also would agree with you that compounding power of bitcoin is something that really is amazing but guys will probably not consider waiting that long to get huge profit instead they usually rush down to some shitcoins.

Yeah Bitcoin will do more in the future, I'm very happy that I'm part of those that are investing in Bitcoin now because I believe the future will be great, Bitcoin is one of the best investment right now in the world and anyone that is investing in Bitcoin now should not be scared of how the Market will turn out to be in the future because the Market will be great, the world percentage of people holding Bitcoin right now is very small just imagine what Bitcoin growth turn out to be if more people start holding or investing in Bitcoin it has already started happening because right now nation's are now investing in Bitcoin increasing trust in the life of people so I believe that in the future more people we invest in Bitcoin because it's now becoming a global cryptocurrency, anyone who is still afraid to invest in Bitcoin you really don't understand the history of Bitcoin and what bitcoin is all about and how bitcoin is going because anyone who understands all this will no that the future of Bitcoin will be great and is not something one should miss.
