Bitcoin was not here with us couple of years back but Bitcoin is here so can it survive decades like normal money?

Nothing in the world is permanent, each person gives a different definition of Bitcoin's survival. However, I would like to say that Bitcoin has been surviving in the market faithfully for more than a decade. And Bitcoin has been accepted as a reserve asset in almost all countries of the world, which is quite suitable for its price to increase further.
The future of Bitcoin is even better and brighter, due to which various countries, especially developed countries and treasury companies, are aggressively collecting Bitcoin. And considering the most suitable and modern technology of the present time, Bitcoin will definitely survive for a long time in the future.

I see that some users are pointing towards the "nothing is permanent" phrase, which I surely agree but while we are living here, bitcoin is showing good market numbers and has held its position as the most costly crypto for several years now.

This combined with the fact that we are all going to complete our lives one day, it make sense to make use of this costly asset. So use it while you can and teach the next generations about bitcoin as well.

You're right, but when you see the bitcoin past price action, it's hard to doubt on the survival of bitcoin for the next decade or so. I don't see any downfall of bitcoin and it will continue to grow.

I don't know why people keep saying that bitcoin will end or bitcoin can't survive long and these voices become more louder in the bear market but we have seen bitcoin always recovering quickly and effectively and then these voices fade away.

Bitcoin as a digital currency have been around for more than a decade , though it is still a new asset in the financial market compared to other investment such as gold, stock, and forex. But considering bitcoin potential and it's growing interest, am quite sure that bitcoin as a digital currency will definitely survive the next generation.I equally know that bitcoin as a digital currency is attracting the attention of big investors and endorsement. So with all these popularity surrounding bitcoin , it is not only going to survive the next generation but prove itself as a good investment.

Bitcoin is designed to continue to exist even until 2100, so what makes you unsure about Bitcoin?

While we may speculate about its value in the future and there is no concrete certainty regarding this matter, the system has been clearly outlined from the start: Bitcoin will continue to operate until the point where it can no longer be mined by 2100. It will remain that way because nothing can stop Bitcoin, and even if it were to run out, it would likely continue to operate (and it is likely to do so).

Therefore, in the future, the situation will remain the same, with the main difference being the value and price, which will inevitably be different from what they are today.

If you will ask from a bitcoiner’s point of view, the direct answer is YES. But if you will ask from a practical person, the answer can be very uncertain, because in reality none of us here is capable enough to predict the future of bitcoin, if it will stay for good or will just vanish within a year or two.

However, what we only hold as a basis is just the fact that bitcoin is still increasing its demand until these days, and so it’s never a bad answer if we can say, YES bitcoin will definitely survive in the next generation.

What exactly will stop bitcoin from experiencing growth?, despite all other odds bitcoin stood firm and if bitcoin wanted to collapse this is not the time instead when bitcoin was invented years back with zero value. Now bitcoin has so many trust starting from bitcoin critics who now believe in bitcoin well, I understand the point when people get curious if bitcoin will ever make it that far honestly no one knows what might happen next but, we’re certain bitcoin will continue to grow viewing from past record. Bitcoin creation was never meant as an opposition against fiat but, promotes anonymity whereby you get your space along side increasing your investment value by holding bitcoin. Bitcoin already survived more, if I’m not mistaken 20-30 years makes a generation so after calculating you can tell bitcoin will stay.

Bitcoin's survival and potential for long-term success are subjects of ongoing debate. While it's true that Bitcoin has only been around for about 15 years, its resilience and adaptability are notable.
Those debates are nonsense. It's proven that Bitcoin can stand the test of time and was able to overcome the hardest periods of time like those dark days when people haven't heard of it. And if they do, it's mostly from the dark web and other illegal activities. But this time, it's all about how the mainstream have adopted it, the big financial institutions and even countries have an idea now to invest on it.

Ultimately, Bitcoin's long-term success depends on various factors, including its ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments, technological advancements, and market demand. Whether Bitcoin will survive and thrive like normal money remains to be seen.
It's here to stay so, it's surely going to survive but not commonly use as fiat. Because what most of us do is treat it as a store of value.

The current young generation is very interested in Bitcoin, and although Bitcoin was not very popular in 2009, it is currently popular with both the young generation and the old generation. So in the coming days, the young generation will be more updated, so they will be very interested in Bitcoin and they will use Bitcoin more than us and have knowledge about Bitcoin. So I believe that Bitcoin will continue from generation to generation.

There's an obvious answer to this, yes, it'll survive. Like what others are saying it's been here for decade and proven a lot of things already, now that it has a global adaptation and still on going, obviously it'll survive more years. The next generation are exposed to technology and for sure they'll definitely use the "advanced" way like how we adapt on social media platforms back then and learn things. Do you still remember when people are discouraging the use of social media and internet but here, we are, majority of our daily routine are using it.

The only thing I would correct is "adoption", not "adaptation".

The question in the title can only be answered by humans. No institution, no law, your regulators, or other disasters. Humans must working together, than they can keep Bitcoin maybe alive “forever” (I cant imagine infinity, and I wont live that long). It probably started with human activity, even though CZ said that Bitcoin was invented by an AI from the future. And in the end, it will also be controlled by humans. So far, nothing has been stop Bitcoin, and I believe that will continue in the future.

Bitcoin was not here with us couple of years back but Bitcoin is here so can it survive decades like normal money?
The current young generation is very interested in Bitcoin, and although Bitcoin was not very popular in 2009, it is currently popular with both the young generation and the old generation. So in the coming days, the young generation will be more updated, so they will be very interested in Bitcoin and they will use Bitcoin more than us and have knowledge about Bitcoin. So I believe that Bitcoin will continue from generation to generation.
As long as there is still the internet to support bitcoin and electricity to support mining, bitcoin will continue to exist. After that, we will just have to see whether interest will grow or diminish over time.
But for now, especially when bitcoin adoption is constantly happening and improving, it is clear that interest is still very high, and we just need to maintain that if we want bitcoin to survive into the next generation.

Currently, the development of Bitcoin, although not in its initial stages, is still in an advanced phase in my opinion. Therefore, it is possible that future progress will continue to improve over time, making it highly likely that Bitcoin will continue to survive into the next generation, especially as young people today are more tech-savvy, increasing the probability of this happening.

So long as there is constant buying and selling I'm sure that bitcoin will still survive, Moreover bitcoin is not like those shitcoin that get dumped after hype must have taken place, what triggers the price of bitcoin to increase or fall in the value is the demand and supply so long as there's high increase in the demand I'm sure that bitcoin will keep progressing until we discover a new coin that is going to do more than bitcoin but not really sure if there will be any crypto currency that will do more than bitcoin in the future. and surely we may likely see a different crypto currencies in the future that will want to challenge bitcoin, But even as that I'm sure that bitcoin will still be in existence.

Agreed. Indeed nothing in this world is eternal, but considering Bitcoin's rapid growth, with many countries even considering adopting it, and considering it's now a hedge against inflation, it's wise to take advantage of it while you can.

Furthermore, the question posed by the OP may have been asked a decade ago. Even then, Bitcoin hadn't experienced the growth it has now, and information was limited. Yet, Bitcoin continues to grow rapidly. So, asking the same question now as it did a decade ago: we can't predict, but with Bitcoin's current growth, we can be confident that it will be a long-term asset. So, instead of worrying about Bitcoin for the next generation, it's better to use the time we have now to continue accumulating Bitcoin for future assets.

This Lindy effect works with other things and will work with Bitcoin too.
I haven't heard of that effect. And so based on that effect, it's going to be of good use for the next 50 years again. So, we should expect more from it and that's why with all of the test that it has been through, FUD, attacks and spams. It remained to be as good and strong as it is than ever. Its uptime has been there for so long and that's why it'll be hard to put it down and now that bigger investors are here as well, they won't just allow it to be down too.

CZ is having a lot of fun this days, Bitcoin wasn't even invented, it was a creation of different investions. Bitcoin uses hash functions, it was already a creation, it used scripts which are already an invention, it used encryption which was already an invention.

Bitcoin is rather a creative work of a smart man and that man is Satoshi Nakomoto. I also don't agree with the AI thing else I'm not sure if we are going to be looking for a solution for quantum solutions without compromising the network.

Everything will depend on how important Bitcoin is to global authorities. As long as it is needed, it will continue to be developed and popularized. The most important thing is that the goal should not be solely about achieving total control, but also about providing a way to solve various financial problems and crises in states, as economists mention, so that economies can survive and function as smoothly as possible without causing too much pain for citizens.
