Can any economy survive without capitalism ?be it UK,USA Germany and Africa etc. To me capitalism is the best form of Economy . Does the developed nations started with capitalism or socialism
Surviving without capitalism may indeed be possible. However, in the end, I believe that capitalism will be preferred by most people. This is because, as individuals, we feel more free to build businesses and own property or similar assets. However, this does not mean that there are no flaws. In this case, government intervention is still important, which is why we still see socialism in some aspects, especially in social services.
However, in a capitalist system, we know that competition will always continue to increase. And in this case, we have seen the impact, namely that those who are able to compete are the ones who ultimately win. Some issues arise, such as the economic gap we see today between the rich and the poor. Nevertheless, I personally still see capitalism as superior. And although many countries started out as socialist, many have eventually blended the two systems and even leaned more toward capitalism.

Before, probably yes. But in today’s world where almost everything is run by businesses, it’s hard to imagine an economy without capitalism. Especially individuals or elites living off of capitalism, I doubt that we can completely erase capitalism in a country where it’s already been so big.

Let’s say a government is serious on controlling capitalism, they could minimize it over the years but i find it hard to imagine for it to be completely eliminated.
Everyone will agree with you that it is not possible to eliminate investment but rather the investment process will change like in the modern era reason for not eliminating it is also political pressure. The economic and political system plays an important role in investment because frequent changes in policies affect investment.Without investment the economy will not benefit much. Therefore investment is necessary in every era. in my opinion Investment helps the country economy creates employment opportunities controls inflation and many other things. Investment is a strong solution to develop the country without it the economy will weaken.

Most modern economies are not purely capitalist or purely socialist but mixed systems. What matters for economic survival is incentives, property rights, capital formation and productivity, not the label itself. Historically, economies without mechanisms for capital accumulation and price discovery tend to struggle with allocation efficiency and innovation.

From that perspective, capitalism (or market-based systems) has proven more resilient, especially when combined with legal frameworks and social safety nets. Bitcoin is interesting here because it introduces a neutral monetary layer that can coexist with different economic models, while enforcing scarcity and predictable monetary policy.
