The 154-pound bout for Fundora's belt will headline a PBC on Prime PPV.

Keith Thurman had a fight this year. He fought Brock Jarvis just this March and won via knockout in round 3. his fight with Jarvis was right after coming out of a 3-year layoff from boxing, so I think he'll be fine if he performed that well in his most recent fight.

I am not really familiar with Fundora. I can't really say how good he is, and how good Thurman will perform in his fight against him. Anyway, all I'm saying is, Thurman did perform well during his fight with Jarvis and shows that he isn't facing "ring rust" as coin-investor mentioned since Thurman was inactive for 3 years.

He beat Tszyu twice already, his only lost is against Brian Mendoza who caught him up with that big punch and so he goes down hard and didn't recover. But after that he become a champion by being Tszyu is one of the most bloodiest fight I have ever witnessed. Others might want to check it out in Youtube. And I thought that Tszyu will win that fight as he was leading until the cut that changes that fight. And in the rematch, it looks like Tim is already out. But against a tough Thurman, let's see, this division is weak as far as I know and that's why Fundora remains as a champion. But if Thurman can still pull the trigger and has the power, then maybe he can knockout Thurman. But if the fight goes to a full 12 round, maybe Fundora's height might be his advantage here as Thurman is known to have faded if the fight goes longer that 8 rounds.

I am not really familiar with Fundora. I can't really say how good he is, and how good Thurman will perform in his fight against him. Anyway, all I'm saying is, Thurman did perform well during his fight with Jarvis and shows that he isn't facing "ring rust" as coin-investor mentioned since Thurman was inactive for 3 years.

We can look at the tale of the tape here - and have some insights on what can happen on their fight. Even if Thurman had a long hiatus in boxing, we can say, he still has some juice on this sports. And we will see this in the upcoming fight if indeed he has it despite of that inactivity period. Also, we can check the recent fights of both fighters and gauge their power inside the ring. I would have to agree with Darker45 here, the height and reach advantage of Fundora is going to be a big problem by Thurman. He really need to get closer to be able to hit Fundora with his power punches. But we have seen the Fundora has improved a lot against his lost to Brian Mendoza and has been using his jab more often now to keep distance and he uses this against Tim. And I would say that he also has power too. Although Thurman won his comeback fight, but maybe only a few of us here might be impressed with that because his opponent is not that well known.

No, Barrios wasn't well know that time, Barrios was also coming from a lost to Tank Davis, while Thurman was away from the ring for 30 months or so after his defeat on Pacquaio. And this is also Barrios moving up in Thurman's weight class.

If Thurman wins this fight, his name will be back in the spotlight for sure, and the Pacquiao rematch talks will explode again. I know a lot of fans still want that, especially since the first fight left plenty of controversy.

Personally, I really want to see Thurman pull it off. Fundora is at the peak of his career right now, he’s the champ and already beat Tszyu twice, but that’s exactly why this win would mean so much more for Thurman. Imagine the storyline, beating the young champ and setting up one last big-money fight with Pacman.

Thurman can be considered to be the most rested boxer in history. He has months and years of gaps in many of his fights, but he can come out the winner.

Fundora, fresh from a brutally punishing fight with Tszyu, faces a different battle, but we cannot count on Thurman; he has consistently proven himself after coming from a long rest.

Not sure if the odds are accurate, but looking at the numbers in the link, it feels like Fundora is overvalued. He’s listed at -750 while Thurman is at +470.

With that kind of line, I’d be more tempted to take Thurman. Hard to resist that value knowing he’s still a quality fighter.
