Sebastian Fundora and Keith Thurman have a deal in place to meet for the WBC junior middleweight title on Oct. 25 at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, a source told The Ring on Thursday.

The 154-pound bout for Fundora's belt will headline a PBC on Prime PPV.

Fundora was awesome in his last match against Tszyu. Tim Tszyu has no answer to Fundora’s attack; he fully utilises his weight and reach advantages, and he even controlled the game when they were close. Fundora looked invincible in that match if he shows the same performance as he did against Tszyu; Thurman is in big trouble.

Keith Thurman had a fight this year. He fought Brock Jarvis just this March and won via knockout in round 3. his fight with Jarvis was right after coming out of a 3-year layoff from boxing, so I think he'll be fine if he performed that well in his most recent fight.

He been fighting boxers that aren't realy that good yet it boost his profile being a pro boxer and when encountering Tszyu and Mendoza, he suffered this loss. Now I'm sure if Thurman is that solid still but he grown old already which this could be a very one sided fight to once again boost Fundora. Fundora may win but probably not a KO win.

I am not really familiar with Fundora. I can't really say how good he is, and how good Thurman will perform in his fight against him. Anyway, all I'm saying is, Thurman did perform well during his fight with Jarvis and shows that he isn't facing "ring rust" as coin-investor mentioned since Thurman was inactive for 3 years.

He beat Tszyu twice already, his only lost is against Brian Mendoza who caught him up with that big punch and so he goes down hard and didn't recover. But after that he become a champion by being Tszyu is one of the most bloodiest fight I have ever witnessed. Others might want to check it out in Youtube. And I thought that Tszyu will win that fight as he was leading until the cut that changes that fight. And in the rematch, it looks like Tim is already out. But against a tough Thurman, let's see, this division is weak as far as I know and that's why Fundora remains as a champion. But if Thurman can still pull the trigger and has the power, then maybe he can knockout Thurman. But if the fight goes to a full 12 round, maybe Fundora's height might be his advantage here as Thurman is known to have faded if the fight goes longer that 8 rounds.

I am not really familiar with Fundora. I can't really say how good he is, and how good Thurman will perform in his fight against him. Anyway, all I'm saying is, Thurman did perform well during his fight with Jarvis and shows that he isn't facing "ring rust" as coin-investor mentioned since Thurman was inactive for 3 years.

We can look at the tale of the tape here - and have some insights on what can happen on their fight. Even if Thurman had a long hiatus in boxing, we can say, he still has some juice on this sports. And we will see this in the upcoming fight if indeed he has it despite of that inactivity period. Also, we can check the recent fights of both fighters and gauge their power inside the ring. They may have 9-year gap in age, but it is about how active you are in this sports. And Thurman wants a good comeback, hence, he is surely preparing for this one.

And given Thurman's age and probably ring rust, which definitely affects his reflex and agility, it's certainly a big challenge for him to be able to get inside and hurt Fundora from within.

If Thurman comes into this fight in good condition, I think he can win because he’s a smart boxer. Fundora may have beaten Tszyu, but in that fight Tszyu didn’t really make the right adjustments, which shows he doesn’t have the same ring IQ. Thurman on the other hand only lost to Pacquiao, and that was a pretty controversial one in my opinion.

I don’t care if he’s older, age is just a number, and Pacquiao already proved that in his fight against Barrios, and even though it ended in a draw, it was still a great fight.
