being addicted to anything isn't good because we become slaves to it.  The best solution is never to put too much attention to anything to avoid been enslaved by it. I don't thinking if gambling addiction has anything to do with spiritual matters. There are people that always feel like attributing all there problem to be spiritual issues. Gambling addiction is caused by lack of self control and not gambling moderately.

That is the position where addiction will push you to this is why people need to be more conscious about that gambling attitude because when you don't control it then is it get out of hand and this is why people need to be told the truth about how dangerous addiction can be  but people are always closing their ears to information like this and they don't know that this will help them.  But people prefer to learn the hardware then close this door.  It is better they know this now. A responsible gambler can certainly be punctual, stop immediately when their allotted money runs out, but an addicted person can never do that, rather they return to gambling whenever they have money and start playing constantly.

The addiction to gambling can start as humble as people think that all they need is fun and nothing will happen to them. I concur that it is not a matter of spirituality but a matter of self-control and lack of moderation. With the accumulation of losses in the mental health, finances, and relationships are affected too. The narrated story demonstrates that debts and constant stress of creditors can ruin the tranquility of mind. This is the reason why the practice of gambling should be restricted at all times. To certain individuals, this may only be achieved by giving up on it altogether and it is only then that life and future lessons can be learnt.

I had to give up gambling completely for several years. I can't say it was easy. There was a constant craving, like some kind of drug addict who needs a fix right now. My thoughts were preoccupied with gambling. The first weeks and months were tough. I abruptly changed my career to keep my mind occupied with something else, constantly. I wanted to keep even a hint of the casino out of my mind. After some rehabilitation, it was time to pay off the loan and debts. I spent several years paying it off and was mentally exhausted.

Many don’t realize how serious it is until they lose everything. It’s important to offer support and counseling instead of judgment because they truly need help to break free from that cycle.

That's true, it's not really healthy bullying them, instead of insulting them or trying making them feel bad show them some support in coming out from the addiction, however gambling addiction is not a child's play and if you aren't gone through it you wouldn't know exactly what am talking about and what this people's are going through, most of them has literally lost all their life fortune in it un- knowingly to them and it's crazy.

Let's try and show them some love at least it will go a long way in helping them out of their predicament. Before I forget all lovers of games and gamblers world wild remember to always gamble responsibly because addiction is very real and deathly.

This is so true, Addiction will not just drain money alone oo, it will just be slowly waiting time, relationships, and peace of mind..  It normally starts small, then it will now involve emotions and greed..  Gambling can increase very quickly if there are no clear boundaries..

Gambling can only stay under control when limits are set and respected, either when winning or losing.. The moment someone starts chasing outcomes of a game or seeing it as a way to make money, it will then become really risky..  Without discipline addiction will always be there..

But later, as my health deteriorated, I realized that I was really addicted. Addiction is a completely mental thing. Until you lose a lot and your bankroll runs out, you will not realize that you are actually an addicted gambler.
