I think which ever ways work for the person not everyone has an idea of running a business not everyone can manage or run a business in most cases is better to earn salary monthly and avoid losses we see a lot of business that has collapsed simply because the owner of the business lack certain knowledge running a business is simply not for everyone. The economy has made it look like salary earners are poor because they will have to wait for a whole month before receiving payment but to be sincere most business owners are also as poor as those earning salary talking about businesses that lack financial support or businesses that serves as a breadwinner to a family when I mean a breadwinner to a family it simply means the family feeds from that business clothing, housing school fee and every basic necessity the family needs financially comes from the business there is no other sources of income to help the family financial needs such business will suffer and may take many years to grow that business owner is as equal as a salary earner
Good management is the only key to a successful business, identifying business as the most productive means of escaping poverty is a good idea but understanding business management must also be considered a necessity. Many after establishing a business has gained stability financially while others get down to zero on the same process, it will be more entertaining if we identify where we belong to and not make business the most lucrative option because others are on it . A good Salary job at times yield positive results more than business but it will be more profitable if we go by a multiple sources of income basically because of the unpredictable inflation that have come to stay.

Salary earners end up spending their salary buying from the business owners making the business owners to get profit from the business while the salary earners end up with nothing.
That's a very poor way of writing off salary earners, I don't think we fully grasp the aspect of salary earning, most times we associate them with the lower class or middle class but they are lots if high class civilians that are salary earners, they make bags of money they even some business owners can't dream of, but still salary earning is limited, instead of writing it off, we I prefer doing the two concurrently, you can earn a huge salary and eventually settle for a business after retirement or as a secondary means of earning a living

Well said; business owners collect salary from many people and get rich . If you don’t use your salary to buy assets and become an owner you will work forever to make others rich. Salary is just a tool to keep someone alive till next month not to make you rich. The only way for salary earners to get rich is using part of their salary to own a stocks, asserts,…. That can bring money back to you.

Someone who's earning a good salary can be doing very well in life, if there is a good financial management while even someone who's into a business for a long can also be doing fine, if there's proper plans and risk management. The main issues depends on how you controls the two, and you can be handling the two which is a bigger advantages, but depending on only one e source of income are the some of the problems many people are facing in this hard economy. In facts even with your small business, you can grows higher without knowing, it's just a gradual process while placing the salary on other expenses just to settle your needs. If at all, you are only earning salary, it's better to strengthen your energy and invest some part if your salary into bitcoin or build any other business.

There are many job holders who are in a better position than many businessmen. It is wrong to assume that all businessmen or entrepreneurs make profits. Many people suffer big losses, return to their job or try to find a job. And if everyone wants to do business, want to become an entrepreneur, then where will they find the employees needed to run an organization? So people naturally set goals according to their preferences and skills. Some people like to work because they do not want to take the pressure of business. Others many do not want to work for a company and keep their life in a fixed routine. It depends on personal decisions. The thing that I give importance to at present is that whether a person run business or job, he should make himself skilled enough. He should gain enough knowledge and experience. This is more necessary in a person's life. If there is enough knowledge, experience, skills, then that person can be successful in any business or job situation.

I'll forever prefer doing business than working to earn a salary at the end of the week or month. Salaries are fixed income and they don't change in respect to economic crisis like inflation. A business might not boom all year round but the profit from just month can cover expenditure for the entire year or even more. Salary earners can never be rich off their salary but they are sure to just survive. How can your vision be so small? It's understandable that you're sure that you will pay your bills at the end of the day but for how long? So it's advisable to start a business while still working to earn salary but have a long term goal.

Thousands of businesses go bankrupt every day around the world, millions are struggling just to stay afloat and carrying huge piles of debt. Meanwhile, many people working for a salary are living pretty stable lives. Like @Taricoins pointed out, do not look at this from just one angle and assume business owners are all rich. And owning a business isn't the only way to build wealth. Building a career, increasing income, saving and putting part of that income into asset can also help you build wealth over time.

A salary earner can survive by working, they may not become rich if they do not have an additional income system. To become rich, you must consider a source of income, you must definitely develop a sure system of alternative income. Not all businessmen will be rich, a businessman has to plan in accordance with his financial condition. You have to adopt fund management policy to ensure proper utilization of funds and prevent waste. You have to be very hardworking to become rich, only then can you find a source of income along with your job. There are many people who have been working for many years and are living a middle class life by taking care of their family. You will see more of these people because they do not want to work hard. Those who have tried to become rich and have shown fairness and worked hard have become rich.

It is really going to be hard to see someone who would likely want to go for salary work when they have their own opportunities to start a business. Everyone knows that when they are able to establish their business well, they will definitely make more money than what the government or a company would be paying them. And that is really true. However, the problem is when someone does not have enough capital to establish a business. I think it may be better for such a person to go for salaried work because it can take a considerable amount of time before the business starts making a reasonable profit. If the person makes mistakes along the way, they may end up using the little profit they are making from the business without allowing it to grow. What I am trying to say is that both salaried work and personal business are good, but it depends on certain conditions that will determine which one is better for an individual. There are people who are salaried employees who are doing even better financially than some business owners.

When the month ends the owner must pay staff salaries, the office rent, electricity bills and even the mandatory government taxes before he thinks of his personal expenses, even if the business records a loss for that month. But a high class salary earner just gets their secured payment alerts on their phone without bothering about some extra financial obligations, jsut personal expenses.

It is seriously tasking to handle both activities all at once. One must suffer. It's either your business suffer it the more because you wouldn't want to miss pay or work since you are working for someone. Probably, you would put someone in your business to manage it for you, and if you are lucky, it's goes fine, but if not, your business suffers.
If am to choose, it's business. If you don't have money to set up a business, you could work for someone to make some money. It is difficult to save up money though, but because you are determined to make a difference, you try all your best. If you manage to save up money to start up a business, then business is the best because you become your own boss and watch your business grow.
Doing both a job and a business at the same time can actually be stressful, most especially if you your need more attention and your business also need the me it will be very hard to cope to me I think I prefer business because once it becomes stable, you have more control over your time and income and the most difficult part is raising the capital and surviving the early stage, but with patience and it will be good. It is not impossible to do both together, I also see many people who are doing different businesses and investments while working, they are keeping everything under control from all sides, and it is not impossible. But when you are thinking of leaving your job and shifting completely to business, it depends on how stable your business is. You have to stay in the job, job is not easy and so leaving your job easily is a very wrong thing. While working, you have to stabilize your business, see how profitable the business is, if everything is good and the possibilities are very good then you can think of leaving your job, but that too very carefully. Because after leaving your job, if your business is not doing well, then it will become a bigger problem, and so I think if someone wants to leave their job and start a business, then they should at least create two stable businesses, leave their job after creating two stable businesses, then if there is a problem in one of them, then you can get support from the other so that you can start a new one. Because there is profit in business, there is also risk, and so you have to make a decision carefully.

It's quite difficult to get rich with salary and live the kind of lifestyle you envision for yourself, since salary is fixed if there's inflation, salary earners will need to adjust their spending in order for them to adapt to change, and salary earners can lose their work at any giving time most especially when the company where they work is having a hard time in generating revenue to use and run the company. Running a business sometimes can be challenging but it can generate profit that you can use to build your dream house and buy your dream car, so I prefer owning a business over becoming a salary earner.

With the increasing rate of inflation, owing a business will be far better than majority of salary works, people will spend so many years of service without salary increments while costs of goods and services are increasing day by day, how funny it can be buying something today and getting back the next day only to see a different price, and over time here when price of things goes up it never come down, some business can give more than just being a salary earner while some salary also can be more than some business it all depends on what kind of business and salary work, though getting a good salary job can be difficult compared to having certain kind of business that can put you in a good condition.

Being a salary earner does not mean your income is alway fixed and can never go up. You can still increase your income by getting promoted, moving to better job, or picking up side job. Plus there is no rule saying salary earners can't invest and build assets. Owning a business does not automatically make you rich either. Plenty of business owner are still renting their home and car, while some people working for a salary already own all those thing. Its pretty shortsighted to assume that owning a business automatically means you'll be richer than someone earning a salary. Imo, it matters less how you earn and more how much you make and what you do with it.

I think the way some people are earning online has made their understanding of business looks delusional because how many people on earth are even into business. Just few people are into business and that's because 90% of the time people start business the failed. You can be doing well in business and in the next 10 years everything fold up because business is very complicated. Sometimes, it's not like you didn't try but because of the way economy affect the businesses. Having business is cool if you are good in taking risk, but there are people that are good in doing work and earn salaries. There are people with good salaries that will tell you that they prefer to do their salaries than do a business. Some people are even in business and don't make profits while some people are doing work and are able to have a fat savings than some people in businesses.

However, there are jobs that offer higher pay than what a small business owner might earn. Personally, I hold the view that it is better to be an employee at a large company than a small-scale business owner. This is not to say I look down on small business owners; rather, an employee’s responsibilities are defined by a specific job description, fixed working hours, and a guaranteed payday. Working for a large company offers numerous additional benefits, such as career advancement opportunities, allowances, and adequate office facilities, alongside the chance to build professional connections and learn business principles through the company's management systems. As an entrepreneur—particularly a small business owner—you face increasingly fierce competition, rising raw material costs, and the burden of managing employee wages and operational expenses. It is important to recognize that being a business owner is far more challenging, especially when launching a small-scale venture, as it often entails working more than 12 hours a day with an uncertain income.

Yes salary earners can increase their income when they get promotion but it could take so many years for that to happen, and some promotions doesn't increase their income immediately they will need to work it out before their income could be increased. The new income couldn't even be enough to take care of their expenses for them to live a comfortable life. If a lot of business owners are renting their home and car, there's nothing wrong with that as far as they are making cool cash for themselves plus they can buy a new house or car if they feel like they don't want to use the house and car they rented out. Even Rick Ross rent his house sometimes but that doesn't mean that he's broke.

The smart salary earners are not depending on their salary alone. most of them still have other means of income and most times invest into multiple things that jointly generate an higher amount than a single business can generate. running a business is good and certainly, we can not write it off but not every one will own a business. if we all own a business, who will buy from us?

Job and business both have their pros and cons, nothing in this life is easy and fancy as some people think. Job gives you a steady income but in this increasing inflation time only job can't help you meet your expenses so you have to look at side options to increase your income. In Business you can earn double or triple than your job but starting a business is not an easy thing as it requires capital and continuous efforts in the beginning. The risk factor in business is more then job and this should be kept in mind for anyone thinking about going for business. I think job is a more safer and steady option for income, you can think of doing a business alongside to increase your income.

Definitely business is better but if you are having a profitable business from your father or grandfather than it is good but starting a business is really difficult and risky for everyone but specially for a middle class person so their is only one way for him that he prefer job. From job a fixed salary cames for his daily living expenses. So once he save enough capital for business than he should invest on his business because in job their is a very short income but in business you can become a rich person and also in very short time. The one and important advantage of having your own business is that you are being your own boss rather than answering to anyone else.
