EU Countries will not process shipment to USA for the next week

After...2 months/8 weeks there are no updates about these shipments to USA. There are still no official updates by Postal services or Private Couriers in general....
"Paper documents" travel very easy with classic postage (Poste Italiane). Business as usual...
Meanwhile, it seems that only private couriers (and not the UPU Postage Service) are able to handle correctly other shipments likewise - physical objects and metals...
Any news from other users/countries that have shipped items to USA recently? Any experience to share & updates ?

since i ship a lot of items around the world and mainly to usa through Icarus sales and my finished auctions, i have never had any problems so far
i always ship my items via DHL and as registered international mail

Yup here in Ireland it has finally caught up with us.

With my last shipment of Polymerbit notes last week to the US I was told I can only post
"Documents" unfortunately.

How viable is using courier companies to post small items?

I have an account with a service provider and I just checked the following:

10cm x 5cm x 2cm - 0.3kg ^{I think the minimum I can book is 1kg} small package to the US

The most economical rate I can find is with FX Ecomomy ^{Federal Express I guess} @ €34.71 + VAT
I dont think that anyone is going to pay that - of course it depends on what the contents of
the package.

That sound expensive! This whole thing sucks a lot. Does anyone have ever tried P2P shipping services as a replacement for Posts Offices and International couriers?

It's a good rate, and it's similar to others in all EU countries... Packages with UPU service (Italian Postage) have the same cost - but a definitely worst service due massive shipment they follow...

So glad you find it interesting, I never tried myself yest simply because there are many to choose from. I'll start vetting the one I find and define some kind of evaluation criteria so it will make it easier to chose from.

IF you try of have any infor about any, or if you find new similar P2P service in italy please let me know in this topic.

i have also sent various metal Ballet wallets to the states
on very rare occasions, i was unlucky enough to have the shipments declared inadmissible by DHL (because they did not contain any documents) and returned to me...
after i sent them again in exactly the same way, they always arrived at their recipients
