I have a coworker whom I consider my best friend, and yes, we both enjoy gambling, but even so, I prefer to gamble alone. I also have friends here in our neighborhood who I can discuss my gambling activities although they rarely place bets. Most of the time, they only do it during the Playoffs and the Finals of the NBA. The problem is indeed just about self-control, because I have friends who gamble.
There are 2 of my friends who both play in gambling, let's say Doni and Gery (pseudonym).

Doni prefers gambling because he just wants to find entertainment with gambling,
but does not use too much money and Doni knows where his limits are to gamble so that it does not disturb him mentally and there are no big losses.

Yes it do applies to my gambling experience, to be honest I did not even start gambling on my own if all started with friends introducing into it, I started, started learning how to play and predict games on my own, with I can now do today without the help of anyone. So like you said beds of same feather flock together, I can do share my gambling experience with friends and they do open up and share their own too.

What games do you play with your friends? Poker? Blackjack?

I just remembered back in the days when I was also playing with friends. Poker is most of the time in the house of one of us. We don't let other people play with us, only friends. Once we are done playing, we will end up using the money we all spent and gambled among each other for food and drinks.
Those were fun days for us, but when everyone had their own families, it never happened again. I do prefer playing that way than playing alone, but it's impossible to happen as everyone is busy with different schedules.

Before you gamble with your friends, you should accept anything that can happen between you and your friends. We will not blame each other if our bet is lost. That is the risk of gambling.

That is what I did with friends so we could avoid blaming each other for mistakes. We also do not drink alcohol because we know that it could trigger another problem. We had a bad experience with alcohol so we avoid it and just buy snacks and water to feel the moment.

It is a good decision that everyone agrees on a particular thing but you will agree with me that there is always a bad egg amongst in any group of people or individual, one that will say something to bring up arguments or issues that may results to something disastrous. Are we even meant to gamble with all our money? Winning is gambling is most times by luck there were period i was winning people always call me for betting code because they knew i was winning it wasn't that am sure of those games it was just some kind of luck with a bit prediction, winning is gambling is never guarantee even the games we bet on we are never sure of it until it plays so when gambling we should do that with the money we can afford to loss to avoid getting into problem.

You're right, this can also increase the fun. I like to do the same thing; sometimes we even bet against each other, but just for fun, like yesterday's Man City vs. Man United match.  I’ve got a few friends who gamble a lot, but honestly that doesn’t mean I gamble or share some thoughts relating to gambling with them. Sometimes I might secretly want to try my luck, especially with football betting, but that’s just once in a while.
