Unless this is different in your country. In my country, during a break in sport game, they advertise some local and online casino before resuming. Like its a normal thing over here. And if you are also streaming from a mobile application or website link, the same thing happens. Like you can't get rid of the gambling adverts.

Betting platforms benefit from sports and sports benefit from betting platforms. Betting platforms exist because sports exist. The more exciting the games are, the more people are going to want to bet. These betting platforms would be competing to get the most customers and they will do it by putting themselves out there aka exposure. They will pay teams, televisions etc to make their name known. In our time, these two are hand in hand.

TV channels of course get a lot of money for this, but in my country I also see more and more advertising and if I understand that it will not work on me, because I understand perfectly well how it works, then it will have an effect on other people. By the way, today I heard an advertisement for a gambling establishment on the radio and it was just awful and annoying, it seemed to me that soon I would start to hate it. It seems that in their marketing they understand that the main thing is for listeners to remember the name of the establishment, even with bad advertising methods that simply irritate many.

I don't think it should be normalized unless there's behavioral research that can investigate the influence of the ads on the behavior of those who have seen them. I think it's going to be adult people, but those are the ones who can have problematic gambling.

A lot of people watch sports including adults, teens and kids as well so this isn't something that should be normalized to ensure that those that are not mature should not be influenced wrongly. But whether we like it or not this is something that cannot be controlled, gambling ads are mostly promoted by certain football clubs. Gambling ads cannot be completely erased from sports completely

Gambling ads are mostly run in between sport matches because that is when a they can target a lot of people at once.
They know many people will be watching the match and they can attract them with their ads.
On top of that they attract them by showing the opportunity to earn money by betting on such matches.
So that is obviously a right spot for marketing but it should be regularized so that they don't attract underaged people.

I also found those gambling ads annoying while streaming live matches, maybe it could be because they aren't paid service. Because I only encountered this while streaming with my phone from a sport app that conveys all live matches, but while watch at home through DSTV I don't usually found those ads displayed that much except during half time they would start displaying those ads and when it's about to start then it off again till the matches ran to the ends.

Market is already set for sports betting sites because few have their good share in market which helping them for growth while new ones are going to face serious challenges because its never been easy for them to have their share due to ban and restricted advertising.
Here always needs to work on few things kids always have influence from parents and elders they can give them enough information about this which will help them, and they will be able to use these platforms better while they will reach at their age of use.

I don't agree with who doesn't support gambling ads. It's very easy to convince someone to take alcohol before you convince the same person to gamble with their hard earn money they might not get back again. Alcohol addiction are worse than gambling addiction, you can go broke if you abuse beer and even affect your health, you can get your kidney damage by alcohol but we are not looking at this things, gambling ads that are harmless is where we don't want to see ads.

For me sports betting ads is not the main problem, although the government can do whatever they feel is right to curtail exposure of these little guys to gambling. Personally, I've seen these little ones gamble freely with their gadgets and I feel their parents are not doing enough to monitor their online presence which is the main source of excessive involvement into gambling by younger ones.

Google has made it very easy to introduce parental controls on emails associated with your dependents. I feel that if parents can adequately monitor the activities of their wards online, then physical casinos comply with denying under 18 access to gambling activities, then these measures to further curb their expose could work more effectively.

Since children will also be in the stadium,  gambling ads should be regulated. They can decide to have a section where children will sit and will not be exposed to the gambling promotions. With the popularity of online gambling monitoring children is now very difficult.  So we should set some boundaries that will shield the next generation.

Wasn't that regulated? I think there should be some kind of restriction or timeslot to show those ads, especially there's a lot of vulnerable groups that will see it such as minors. But I agree with @lovesmayfamilis, when it comes with money I really don't think the government's restriction would do something about it. If we are going to rely on those alone, I don't think we would be able to protect youth or minors, it has to begin with proper guidance at home.

Yesterday I took the iPad that my kids make use of to run some little search; something took me to the ad activities on Facebook, and among the 10 recently clicked and viewed ads, more than 5 of them are all these cheap casino advertisements that show how to make quick money for a Facebook account registered under a minor below 16 years old.

I don't see any problem if they only show the ads on sports matches. After all, it is not a channel intended for the kids.
The gambling ads are only becoming a problem if it has been televised, broadcast, and shown in the social media very frequently. It is not the appropriate place for these gambling ads. I have seen a lot of it lately in the social media. Celebrities and influencers are constantly promoting and adversiting various gambling websites. That is the problem.

Gambling and sports currently seem to be two things that are very difficult to separate because, after all, they have a mutually beneficial relationship.

Any type of sport will certainly expect gambling to provide financial benefits in terms of sponsorship, which will of course be a great advantage if cooperation is established, and the fact that there is currently a lot of sponsorship for gambling in sports is proof of this. On the other hand, gambling also benefits from this arrangement, as commercial interests are paramount. There should be a specific audience or target, but as i can see even the young saw gambling ads, there should be a specific target, like if the user is under age, he/she should not see any gambling ads, only the adult should see it, when it comes to tv commercials we cant do anything to set those rules, but it is better for the gambling ads to be put on a place where children are less visible that is just my opinion.

Gambling ads are now bothering us a lot. Social media is the biggest place for gambling promotion. Minor children are very addicted to social media, especially YouTube. Now even a two-year-old child is very addicted to watching cartoons on YouTube. And if gambling ads are running there, how will children be protected from gambling? A minor child never uses their own phone, they use their parents' phone, there must be an 18+ age set on Google. Gambling ads are harming minor children as well as adults.
