You know whats strange about this round? The position is almost like the leaderboard position.

Yes, it's quite a rare event, although I don't check the results often  It's really nice to get the yellow cap in the penultimate round where the most points are at stake. The point pool will dwindle very quickly in the playoffs. A free bet will also be useful, although I've had little luck with them lately, as the chaos that's unfolding in all tournaments is very difficult to predict.
It seems like all the favorites are in the top 8, but some clubs could have finished higher.

You're right, I just realized also in Superbru the group stages are the most important, as matches get fewer, I think the top5 in this pool will more or less remain the same with points getting 50% every stage.

I already sent my picks for this round 2 days ago, just didn't wanna take any chances to forget in a pool where I got a good chance. Some really tricky games so I took a couple risks and hope it works out, but not too many as don't want to drop too much.

Young boys even tried their best to get the game draw at some point but it was just so unfortunate for them that Stuttgart scored again late in the game to get the late winner which just spoiled all their hardwork but that was a big bonus for me and I think a lot of other gamblers too since I actually predicted them to win the game and was shocked and surprised seeing them draw after going two nil up at the early stages of the match.

I agree, nothing is guaranteed in football, especially after what happened in the last Champions League. But, looking at the current situation, a draw seems like a very interesting and sufficient result for both sides.

Yeah, I will truly miss the feeling of a team being able to take their opponent home for revenge. Yes, it happens in the KOs, but as a "smaller" team, you'll need to get past the group phase now if you want to get an opponent to your home fans.

That's not the only thing of course, I've always said football is a game of jeopardy and this stealth Super League format lessens the jeopardy for big teams losing out KO rounds.
