First leg of quarter finals is over and we can see that Aston Villa and Freiburg gained most advantages in their first matches.
Nothing is yet decided but all odds are saying Aston Villa already secured place in semifinals.

I really, really wanted to go Betis here but yeah, I gave in to QF sensibilities, knowing that almos all away teams will be happy with a draw to take home and finish the job.

That was round where everything went in opposite direction than I needed, except Aston Villa game. Celta was biggest disappointment for me, already after first game they have very little chances for comeback. Porto also disappointed, expected that they will win at home.
Dropped to 9th place, but still just few points behind 4th place, so, fight isn't over yet.

Porto's stats I remember should have snuck them in a win, but I was happy they didn't for BSFL (it didn't help me in the end).

What Betis did yesterday was shameful, nothing strange that they got booed by their own fans. They had 2:0, scored 3rd goal which was cancelled by VAR and then they conceded 4 goals from Braga. I don't know, maybe after 2:0 Betis players started to think that their job is already done.
Celta also disappointed me. Not that I expected their comeback, but at least I wanted that they wouldn't lose big at home. Now it looks a bit weird when last Spanish teams in Europe is Atletico and Rayo Vallecano.

We finally know four clubs playing in semifinals of Europa League!
Braga is playing against Freiburg, after they eliminated Celta and Betis.
Aston Villa is playing against Nottingham Forrest after eliminating Porto and Bologna.
First leg of semifinal matches is played on 30 April, and one English club have guarantees spot in the final match.

The unfortunate part is am playing for bragging rights , instead of a top 3/4 finish,  I guess the damage was done by you guys in the first half of the season and right now you are in cruise control with not so much happening in position changes .

I don't like how this Semi bracket unfolded...English teams should have met in the finals not the Semis, and unfortunately on paper Villa will be the favorite but we can write off Forest

Damn, just realized that I did not make picks for the QF games.
I was just on the edge of Top 10, how many people get prizes here anyway? I'm almost certain not 10+
