He replied to me on twitter(x.com). I mentioned about Bitcoin talk and my not yet funded orange chips. He replied to me there and asked me to reply on the forum here so he could review our correspondence. I am optimistic. Not an ideal situation of course, but will certainly be quite happy if he makes things right.

Did he end up funding these items for you?

Still not yet. He said he would. I have been quite patient, but to be honest I am beginning to lose faith.

Last time he said his trezor/ledger was being sent to him. Then he said that electricity goes out frequently. But he is able to post quite often on Twitter so i don't understand why he wouldn't be able to fund the 13 orange chips I bought from him.

I love his collectibles and honestly I wanted to buy some more, but I told him to please fund my chips, I bought them 4 years ago now.

I recently bought over five coins. Delivery was slow, but the seller completed the order, and the coins were excellent.

Join the club. I ended up unloading my bar after probably 10+ attempts requesting him to fund. It looks as if he is only interested in new business and not making prior customers whole.

His products are always ‘purdy’.  I know he had some confusion with label numbers but in my dealings with him, he’s made me whole every time.  I think he’s more disorganized than a thief but an artist for sure.

still sitting on over 50 items where funding was paid to mrcrypthodl by the original buyers but the items were still never funded - mrcrypthodl has blocked me so I can no longer ask him about getting the funding.

his last offer was to pay the USDT equivalent to what the funding was worth when items were sold.

If he received Bitcoin for funding, under no circumstances should he have ever touched those funds or converted them to USDT - never mess with customer funds. one of the basic rules for makers.

and then blocking anyone asking just allows him to keep new buyers from seeing the issues on twitter which is now the only place he sells his items.

He blocked me on X and also owes me quite a bit of funding, I’m not the only one either, I see mrcryptohodl gets brought up on bitcoin talk, frequently about him being back, he won’t make anyone whole, I’m one of the guys that paid in BTC and followed his funding procedure about notifying once items were received for him to then load… he failed to or purposely did not load, I should have verified and continued to follow up, I was new to physical cryptos at the time and pretty sure I was the type of person he hoped would buy from him not knowing any better…he’s a trash person,  no one should buy from him. I’ve had people on X reach out whom know the dude and he ripped off people he personally knows as well as his own parents. Dude is a scumbag.

Allegedly his name is “Ilan Sönmez” if this helps anyone find him please reach out.

Also he allegedly was trying to or now is a Swiss distributor for gentex but I couldn’t find him in the directory…

Do we know how much he owes everyone?

I bought 13 chips from him, the funding on those was 0.0005, so just 0.0065. Not a huge amount, but I intended to buy those coins to give as something for my kids to save.

I agree with everyhone about him now, he is not an honest guy and i do not believe he will pay anyone back now. He promised me over and over on twitter, his last promise that he woudl settle everything before Christmas. He has not replied to any messages since.

I would love to cause some problems for this guy if there is any way to take action against him.

Honestly, all affected users should report his X account in an attempt to have it taken down, and also encourage their contacts to do the same.

I say this because what this user has done could set a very dangerous precedent: allowing the funds of these items to be emptied at any time.

I don’t see how any rational person, in their right mind, could purchase items knowing there is a constant risk that their funds could be drained at any moment.
