As you said, people study to get a job and work to get rich, but I don't agree with that, because I believe people do jobs out of compulsion because they don't have a choice, no one with the right mindset would ever think of working for someone else to get a salary that doesn't even fulfill their basic needs properly, but since not everyone can afford to become their own boss, they are compelled to accept the reality and get a job so that they can at least earn a living for themselves.

IMO, wages didn’t keep up w/ inflation + cost of living. So most ppl now work to survive, not to build wealth. A “stable job” today just pays bills, EMIs, rent, etc. Little left to grow.

The gap between the rich and poor is fast becoming a wide golf, the few rich are at the top, a weak middle class and the majority poor are at the bottom. The rich provides employment for the poor and pays them just enough to take care of their basic needs so they will continue to be dependant on their paycheck to survive. I heard one unbelievable story about a former president that became a farmer, a friend visited him and complained about the poor salaries of the farm workers. The president told him that the moment you pay them very well that they will afford to save enough money to start their own thereby quitting his farm.
