That is true, and I think the main reason people get carried away is because both winning and losing can trigger strong emotions. When you are winning, the excitement and rush makes you feel unstoppable, like maybe today is that big breakthrough day so you keep pushing. On the flip side, when you are losing, frustration and hope combine and push you to chase back what you have lost…

In both cases, emotions comes and make it hard to stop at the right time..  That is why having those limits you mentioned is very important, because discipline is the only thing that can balance out the emotional side of gambling. Yes, very easy to say. We know that since we know a lot of our countrymen have always been carried away by their winnings. We even tell them to not gamble after a huge winning. But we can only tell and they'd still go after all of the reminders that we tell them. Emotions can get a hold of people quite easily, especially after winning a large amount of money. This is basic human psychology, and even though we think ourselves as stronger than them, we are all only human. We are bound to act a certain way, even if we do not wish to.

We are all humans that have feelings so our emotions can get the better of us very easily and it is quite hard to control it unless you have set a limit on your gambling game and you also have self control to back it up.
