Which can be more addicting between the two: placing small bets every day or gambling only once or twice a year but doing so with huge amounts of money?
If you place bets every day, your brain might get too used to it even if it is just a small amount but betting less frequently but with bigger amounts of money may lead you to be emotionally attached to that money and may feel extremely happy to win and extremely disappointed to lose.
So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
Addiction happens when a person starts to see gambling as a compulsory thing he must do when they start defaulting their gambling plan and start gambling more often than they have planned. So In my opinion I think addiction can happen in either situation once you start losing discipline but I would be easier to get addicted when you in the first situation when you place small bet everyday than when you gamble once or twice a year. My reason is because of how the person exposes him/herself to gambling and how frequent they gambling. It can easily trigger their emotions.

In my opinion, there's no difference at all between the two methods you mentioned above. Both small and large bets have similar effects addiction and financial repercussions. Both can also trigger difficult-to-control behavioral patterns, as gambling can lead to a persistent desire to win and make it difficult to stop. The main or most striking difference lies in the psychological impact or depression experienced by gamblers, as they experience significant losses.

We call someone addicted when they gamble continously and they can't stop it even if they want to then I guess betting everyday with small or big amount is who we should call an addict which doesn't necessarily mean we have to as long as they know what they are doing and if they want to stop it then they can those we call as responsible gamblers. So how much money is spent here is irrelevant to the addiction factor, it's just the frequency of their action towards something. You are very correct, anyone who is incapable of controlling themselves when gambling is an irresponsible gambler, and this can make them to be unable to avoid chasing losses. But, being having self-control helps one to know when they should quit or stop gambling, because practicing healthy gambling support them to be able to save and not to lose everything all because of the urge of recovery their losses.

That's fair enough for the description of both situations. Betting with less amount won't be dangerous but there could be some regret for both actions. If you calculate with all of the losses you'll make with the small amounts you've lost, you'll end up with big amounts. And for that gambler who gambles once but with a big blow, that's what luck is really all about. I think that the guy who gambles daily is prone to addiction.

I think that those who gamble frequently become addicted, after playing small bets, they get addicted to gambling for a while. Then if they don't gamble, they don't like it, and those who do it constantly and get carried away by their emotions and lose control will soon become addicted to gambling. However, those who gamble for a long time and if they gamble with a large amount of money and lose, they will lose some of their emotions, but they will recover later. But those who gamble for a long time do not get addicted and they do not have any risk, because their brains do not get addicted to gambling. Therefore, those who get addicted to gambling, those who immerse themselves in gambling for a large amount, lose control of themselves and as a result become addicted.

I'll go with former because in my experience, you don't get addicted to things by doing 'em every once in a while. ... but with bigger amounts of money may lead you to be emotionally attached to that money and may feel extremely happy to win and extremely disappointed to lose. Yeah, but that shouldn't lead to addiction.

I believe the only way one can be addicted to gambling is when they are doing it regularly, that is when they are gambling frequently. So gambling every day no matter how small the amount maybe, is not a good idea to avoid being addicted to gambling. Gambling shouldn't be every day thing Moreover if we compared the money that is being put in every day it may amount to or more than the amount that some gambler used to stake at once. It won't really be a bad idea to pull a heavy funds at once so long as we can afford to lose such amount at least we won't be addicted to gambling.

It's obviously placing small bet everyday. Since gambling is Intermittent reward. When you are placing a bet, it will provide you a rush in the question when will the reward come. It will addict you with the question if you're just doing one more time, you may able to get the reward. It will force you to keep gamble again and again to answer the same question. However, doing big gamble once in a year not also guarantee you free from addicted to gamble.

So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
The first scenario is realistic while the second isn't. I think it's paramount to compare two realistic possibilities. That not withstanding, both has addiction prospects with the worst being the second one since he places bets with large sums, maybe he buys games from an assumed reliable source and if that source disappoints he'll start chasing loses with big amounts as usual and would wreck himself financially even before he knows what's happening.

If he plays every day, then this can already be attributed to addiction. There is a certain craving for the game. I can judge this by myself. I visited a physical casino every day, where I spent almost the whole day, because time flies there. In addition, a special atmosphere is created that draws the player in with his head to stay as long as possible. It's not even about awareness. This is all banal nonsense. When a person does not have an addiction, then he does not have a daily desire to spend time in a casino.

Both can be more addictive in some cases. But placing small bets every day can trigger you to become addicted soon. That is because you place a bet daily and when you lose, there is a will to increase the bet amount. If you do this over and over, the chance of losing more will increase and the chance of getting addicted will happen.
But if you gamble once or twice a year, you may forget to gamble as you have or will do many activities. That is good because you can prevent the addiction from happening while you have many activities to do.
If you don't want to get addicted to gambling, you should not gamble excessively. Only by using the money you can afford and self-control to prevent the intention becomes big.

If you bet occasionally, although with large amounts, I don't think that's called a gambling addict. But those who bet small amounts but would not stop 24/7, that's where addiction does happen. It means you are continuously doing a thing or abusing it and would never let a day pass by without doing it.
The high rollers who bet rarely are just gamblers. Sure, they might not forget about the big stakes that they put, especially if they lose, but the good part is that he is away from gambling for a long time, and it means he can do something else, not just gamble the whole day.

Playing every day is bad and will definitely not lead you to anything good, but if you are really able to play with small stakes and often win, then it will not be a burden for you financially, but it will take up a lot of your time. If it is several stakes a year but for huge amounts of money, then everything will depend on your luck and ability to choose a stake, but I think that you can lose and then it will be a big loss of money and most likely it will also be very difficult to psychologically endure such a loss.

I consider addiction to be something that harms a person, for example, if we consider the option with bets, a person spends his money and time playing without receiving profit from the game, but if the time and amount spent on bets does not negatively affect his mental well-being and health, then this is simply one of the habits that make up a person’s day. I don’t see the point in raising alarms if a person plays every day but everything else in their life is fine. People spend hours glued to social networks and other gaming apps throughout the day, even though that time could have been used more productively.

So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
I think it depends on the actual numbers. For example, if the small bets are so close to zero that they don't even register in the brain, then the big ones will be worse. But if the small bets are, say, the price of a lunch, then they would start to affect the brain more and more, and getting more addictive.

Using huge amount to wager your bets even in daily basis does not mean you are an addict talk more of gambling once or twice a years. What matters is yours bankrolls if it is sufficient enough that the monies spent on bets does not affect your savings. If we want to talk about addiction, it is something we feel urge of doing on the constantly and are felt tempted or disturbed if we never get the satisfaction when the urge comes. So invariably, the closest times (daily) one gambles reputedly stand chances for one to be addicted. We can not address someone who gambles twice a year an addict because after the two rounds will have to stay off until the next year. Meaning no urge that may be tormenting him based on the period of time active and inactive.

It depends on the individual and their habits. There are some set of people that will not get addicted even if they are gambling everyday with small amount, they will make sure they don't exceed more then they can afford and they will also make sure to they only gamble when they are free and when they actually have an allocation for gambling.
Consistent gambling can lead to addiction more than when you're betting once a week or twice, though there are some people who have been gambling consistently but you can't see them gambling iresponsibly or becoming addicted to gambling. I think this is just about being discipline and also making a good gambling budget if you're gambling consistently you have to make a budget and also set an amount that you will be going with every day so that after using that amount then you will have to continue the next day. This method is going to help in reducing some risk and also make us not to get addicted so easily that's for those that will choose to gamble consistently, but gambling during weekend is more safe than steady gambling.

The most addictive, in my opinion, is placing small bets daily. Gambling once or twice a year, I don't consider it an addiction, even if it involves large sums.
Addiction isn't about the amount, whether small or large, but rather about engaging in the habit on a daily, recurring basis without being able to stop, even for a short period of time. As for someone who bets large sums of money once or twice a year, he is not addicted as we expect. Rather, he may be trying his luck. If he succeeds or fails, he will stop.
