Which can be more addicting between the two: placing small bets every day or gambling only once or twice a year but doing so with huge amounts of money?
If you place bets every day, your brain might get too used to it even if it is just a small amount but betting less frequently but with bigger amounts of money may lead you to be emotionally attached to that money and may feel extremely happy to win and extremely disappointed to lose.
So what do you think gets someone more addicted?
From my perspective I will say placing small bets every day can easily make a gambler to be addicted on gambling without knowing. Because in a situation where by an individual or gambler gamble with a little amount of money every day and win a lots, that will motivate them keep gambling no matter the circumstances in other to earn more profits, and this is exactly where the main problem begins. Because gradually he will be getting addicted to gambling, and gambling addiction is a big form of destruction and embarrassment, because as a result of it some individuals might end up losing their reputation in their society or community.

You have a point, gambling addiction Isn't really the same for everyone, some people are addicted to sports games and others are addicted to casino games but we can all say that the larger percentage of gamblers are more addicted to casino games. A lot of people fail to realize that addiction is a choice because it's something that's done repeatedly.
People can get more addicted to what they play more and feel more comfortable about it; it's not just about which game is addictive and which one is not, and if you are to say casino games have more addicted players, it's also equally saying we have more people playing casino games than focusing on betting. Most of those who bet on casino games are addicted. They use gambling for the purpose of profit. Because casino games are built on a system of making a lot of profit or loss in a short time. But those who bet on sports betting only like that particular game. And betting creates more excitement, which makes their time watching the match more exciting. I think sports betting is more logical if someone wants to control their emotions and wants to bet only for entertainment purposes. Lowkey this is actually true… but most people will not even admit it lol.. Casino is just straight up win or lose, no in between… and that is exactly what pulls people in.. It is more fast, intense, and before you know it you are chasing something already gone. But for sports betting it at least feels a bit more controlled, even if na illusion sometimes haha..

That's so true. Unless an analytical findings is actually done on this matter before the true result can only be determined else someone would just be guessing if they say that slot games have more addicts than sports betting. I do not actually know which has more addicted players but I know that both can be addictive and would have a large number of addicts too.
It all depends on how often you gamble for you to notice an addiction. If you like betting on slot gamble everytime, you can. Be surprised that you will get an addiction quickly without you knowing what you have done to yourself. Struggling with addiction need thorough discipline to escape it because of how rigid it could be to victims.

In most cases, it happens because people don't have control over their emotions and spend all their available money. That's what happens with addicts. If a player is falling into addiction, they must prepare to get out of it, and if they need professional help, they should get it because there's nothing worse than losing money and losing everything that comes with life: friendships, family.

Most of the addiction cases requires more than discipline to break free from it. Discipline is almost just only needed or essential when the gambler is still yet to be addicted, then it can help you avoid getting addicted, but the moment the gamblers is already addicted, then discipline is almost as good as useless to the gambler, except of course the addiction is just a minor one and not really that serious, then the gambler can somehow miraculously develop the amount of discipline that’ll eventually make him break out from it.

You're right, that's often seen as an illusion, and that's what can keep many players there, hoping to see good results. But despite the illusion and all that, I consider the most important thing to be the correct use of money. Without the proper use of money, it's difficult; there can't be good fun or anything if we don't have good risk management with money. That's the cause of many cases of addiction.
One of the main causes of the high number of addiction cases is simply poor money management. It makes sense that if someone has poor money management habits and then wins big while gambling they are likely to spend that money unwisely perhaps even using most of it to gamble again and in most cases, they end up losing it all.

I concur with you and I think it can be more addictive to make small bets daily. By playing a lot of small games every single day. a person becomes used to it and makes it a routine. a habit. This complicates the detection of its transformation into dependency. The brain will begin anticipating regular rewards resulting in a loop that is hard to break. However the occasional emotional highs and lows drive one to gamble a lot of money. All in all a regular bet is more addictive because of its regularity and the routine.

Ordinarily gambling or betting regularly or often will increase the chances and possibilities of someone getting addicted but different people have different way they perceive or handle things. There are people that can gambles almost every day and yet you won't and can not trace anything like addiction in them while there are some that can not hold themselves they are easily carried away by something and there are some game that can be very tempting especially those ones you get instant result they should be avoided.

Essentially, an addictive scenario occurs when you frequently see something like this. The more you see it, the greater the potential for addiction. Even in that situation, you might already be addicted. It's that simple. I understand that the biggest trigger for gambling addiction is winning. However, winning isn't the only thing that can trigger addiction. Even near-wins can trigger addiction. Addiction develops when your curiosity increases, and the more you see or experience it, the more moments that trigger that curiosity will increase, which can lead to addiction.

I do not see any relationship between gambling with big amount of money once or twice each year with addiction, rather you can relate it that to being greed if the gambler isn't doing that in relation with his income. The gambler that's seen gambling every day should be the one who can be said to get addicted on the process if not done with caution or put in control, because it doesn't totally mean if you gamble on a regular basis that you're addicted, might be that the gambler doesn't want to give up in trying to catch up on a win, etc.

Gambling addiction is very bad, but in the beginning, it always look normal because you will think you are chasing your dreams, but along the line, you will regret it letter when you have lost a lot money to gambling. Therefore, always maintain you greed and emotion, and save your delf from gambling addiction.

Not that they can escape, but with time and determination, which their loved ones can be of help and try to stop themselves from engaging in gambling, which they won't have any other choice than to do what they are told as far as it will be of help to their lives and at the same time, people are ought to always practice healthy gambling for their own safety.

You have also raised a good point in how gambling addiction is not about the game itself but rather the inability to control. Games with quick outcomes such as slots may be more addictive due to immediate feedback. but any gambling may be hazardous without control. This is a pitfall as a lot of players end up chasing losses and basing their decisions on emotions, which makes them more likely to be addicted. Limiting spending money wisely and learning when to quit are all necessary habits. Once one suspects that they have become addicted. early intervention can help avoid severe monetary and personal harm.

You will decide to bet on your local gambling establishment and this preparation may take up to several months. If you do not have control over yourself at that time after completing all the preparation of collecting and analysis funds it can be even more risky than addiction. You can lose more money into several days than an addicted gambler loses in a whole year. You do not want to call regular gambling an addiction but I think most gamblers who gamble regularly are addicted. Regular gambling either for the purpose of repeating wins or for the purpose of recovering losses can lead to addiction.

It may be difficult at the beginning because getting used to the habit without thinking more so that we have to think about things that we cannot do in the casino, the name of bad habits such as relying on expectations without consideration of money and time makes us more addicted especially if by just relying on the hope of getting a win that makes us lazy to think because we are used to winning without thinking, especially if it is a big win that is obtained. But from all that in fact if the count mostly suffers losses and often spends money from work that should not be done, the effect of dependence on hope is an action that makes us more addicted.
The habit of not thinking "more" or worse at all before doing something has absolutely nothing to do in particular with gambling. People who are reckless like this tend to behave worse when it comes to gambling, but this is merely because this provided an environment in which their habit had an opportunity to express itself more intensely. Generally people are how they are before they come in contact with a casino, the cases where gambling behaviors tend to completely change a conservative and restrained person towards an addicted and reckless gambler are quite rare. There are situations in which it is possible, such as a combination of extremely bad life events combined with overall inexperience with gambling -- and getting in contact with gambling in such a state can indeed cause all sorts of issues. However, as I have said -- most people were already quite weak, undisciplined, and unrestrained and that is why they act this way when it comes to gambling too. in another way of understanding gambling addiction, I will not fully agree that gambling addiction is a choice, because I know that sometimes those people who is addicted in gambling does not know that there are addicted in gambling except it is being said by someone close to them, some of the addicted gamblers does not know that they are addicted until they spend what they can't afford to lose in gambling and that is one of the things that make them to realize that they are addicted in gambling or they are being informed by their friends or loved ones
Being so stupid that one is not even able to recognize your own addiction is not really a nice excuse, is it? You are right in the sense that this does happen, but there should not be excuses provided for this kind of state -- instead we should call it out for what it is. Many people are so stupid that they barely have any power of perception, they can't recognize even the most obvious issues. Meanwhile on the other end you have extremely sensitive people who are able to see an addiction coming from a mile away and stop it before it even takes the smallest roots. Correct, once one has already reached the stage of full addiction, then one cannot longer rely on discipline to achieve anything. Discipline is something which can be used to keep ourselves away from gambling addiction, but it does have anything to do with getting out of one's addiction at all.
Sounds correct, but it is wrong. There is no such thing as "unreliable discipline". Either you have discipline or you don't. If you do, then you can absolutely rely on it for all sorts of things. If you can't rely on it, that means you were never disciplined to begin with. Learn the different, discipline is not a weak and fleeting thing like motivation. If one got addicted to something, one never had discipline at all. Therefore, a state of addiction combined with discipline is impossible.

Gambling is mainly for entertainment, if you gamble with small amounts of money for the purpose of entertainment, then you will be able to maintain self-control over yourself regardless of the outcome of the gambling. And if you start gambling to earn money or with the mentality of getting rich quickly, then you will not be able to control yourself, as a result you will face a lot of money loss and may become a terrible addiction to gambling. It is very important to always gamble with awareness.

Something becomes an addiction only when a person continues to do it regularly. Moreover, doing something for a long time never immediately becomes an addiction. In the case of gambling, those who do it regularly will definitely become addicted. Addiction does not actually depend on the amount of money, but it depends on how often a person continues it and another thing is that when a person gambles, it creates excitement in his brain and if he wins in any way, then the feeling of joy that creates in his brain gradually turns a person into an addicted gambler. On the other hand, if a person gambles for a long time, then his tendency to become addicted is very low. Therefore, if you only bet a large sum of money a few times a year, it won't have much of an impact, but when you gamble frequently with small amounts of money, it will become ingrained in the brain and become an addiction.
